  • Encumbered Pack Mule 2.0. The combination of the effect with the Tradeable keyword makes this quite the draw engine. Bearing in mind that Warrior has lots of options to handbuff Taunt minions it might actually see play.

  • Cheap fishing tool with a buff attached, very nice card. If a Handbuff Hunter sees the light of day, this will be a staple. Might become a regular addition in Hunter decks anyway fpr the potential Hollow Hound hit alone.

  • I love the flavor and both artworks, but the effect is kinda meh. Sure, a 1/3/3 is insane, but it's really a 1/3/1 and that's just barely okay in my books. If you curve it into the 2 Mana Parrot it gets better, but that one has shitty stats so great + bad = okay. And that's exactly how I'd rate that package until someone comes up with a better idea for its use.

  • Repeat means no Battlecrys... Which makes Catch of the Day the primary target from this set. I'd rather prefer to not play that card on turn 1 though. Maybe we find a good Deathrattle minion or just use the Secret tutor.

  • +2/+3 is a substantial buff, but skipping your turn 6 is a high price. On top of that, Gilly has to fight with a lot of other strong 6 drops for a place in your deck and I don't see a clear gameplan for this effect yet. Sure, Wild Hunter has a ton of ways to trigger Deathrattles, but that late in the game? For that much Mana? There are better ways to do this. Not convinced of this card as of now. The signature art is great though!

  • Eh. Potentially a great card, but I doubt we have a suitable number of good targets in Standard right now and the staline is not it. At least give it 3 durability? I don't know... Maybe we're missing something or there's a card coming in the mini set that elevates this one's power level, but right now the card feels worse than it needs to be.

  • If the Shaman Macaw taught us anything, this is going to be a strong card. Death Roll and Furious Fowls are obvious targets from the new set, but you could also try goofy stuff like Flark's Boom-Zooka. Very nice addition to Hunter!

  • This one is hard to judge. On the one hand, it's pretty expensive. On the other hand, it can go face and Wild has additional options to make use of the birds. Trueaim Crescent and Devouring Swarm come to mind. Not a clear power card, but something interesting to experiment with imo.

  • Effectively cheating 1 Mana might not be worth running this, but Wild Big Shaman has showed us that under the right circumstances, it could make a huge difference. The question is which combo profits the most from saving 1-3 Mana... And I have no clear answer to that yet.

  • The potential for this card to do something very crazy is through the roof. Can't wait to see what people come up with for this one. Too bad Battlecrys don't get repeated, similar to Tess Greymane.

  • Yeah at first I was a bit skeptical but watching the awesome reveal video by Wronchi I got a better feeling for the card. Definitely very strong, might even get nerfed to 6. Isn't targeted removal supposed to be a weakness of Hunter? I can't think of another Hunter card that allows you to destroy a specific minion without any strings attached from the top of my head...

  • Omega value card. You get to see what's coming next, you get extra cards, you even get another synergy on top of all that via Twilight Medium. Feels like Spirit of the Badlands already got powercreeped. Crazy good card in any Control Priest deck.

  • Finally some Big Priest support 🙄 Zilliax will love this. You could also res Aman'thul. I'm sure I'm forgetting something here, but I'm just as sure I'll find out about that soon enough.

  • This one is too expensive for my taste. There are too many conditions that have to be met here for this card to be good: You need 6 Mana, your opponent has to have something worthwile on board, you should be below 21 Health. I'll pass.

  • Taunt is huge here because it means you don't completely skip your turn. I expect this card to see a lot of play anyway, the effect is just so strong. Wild Reno Priests like to run Lorekeeper Polkelt and if you can chain these two you'll get a 1 Mana Hero Reno for example. Yikes. Standard is probably mainly looking for the synergy with Narain Soothfancy.

  • The fact that this can't go face is a bit of a let down. 2 Mana deal 3 with an extra effect usually sees play, but in this case that will heavily depend on the question if the whole self-damage concept takes flight. For DH I'm optimistic. Priest? Not so sure.

  • Those are insane stats for a 1 drop and it has the Pirate tribe tag! My initial euphoria was a bit dapened when Schmoopydady told me he was looking forward to killing someone with a Prize Plunderer though. Still, more often than not this will be super strong in Wild Aggro Priest. There are synergies with Treasure Distributor, Parachute Brigand, Patches the Pirate, Ship's Cannon, Thirsty Drifter, Sauna Regular and Frenzied Felwing. Let's just hope we don't kill ourselves using those :D

  • Solid AOE spell, even without the conditional +1 damage. DH likes this a lot as well since it's quite easy for them to trigger the condition with their Hero Power. Good card, especially considering there's a high chance we're going to see several Pirate decks emerge.

  • You should never ignore Mana cheat, especially when it comes with a decent body and a useful keyword. I'm looking forward to trying this in Wild Aggro Priest :-)

  • That looks like a solid card for Reno Priest if I ever saw one. It's great for a meta that see lots of giants and if I understand the effect correctly, you don't even need a small token minion as the second target because Voljin can just target himself. Nothing fancy, but a good card.
