There's also some precedent for Deathrattle synergy in Zoo with Possessed Villager and Nerubian Egg, so I don't think Ritual of Doom needs that much of a push, but it's definitely going to need support from the sets this year.

I still have my doubts with Tiny Knight of Evil since Wicked Whispers and Nightshade Matron aren't enough cards that discard to really amp up it's threat level. A 5/4 on turn 3 is good tempo, but that takes three cards when there are plenty of other strong options available (Midway Maniac + Flame Imp is 4/7 of stats for only two cards). I totally agree that Pain-lock will likely be the direction Zoo goes in for now with some light discard synergy in potentially Matron and Whispers as Warlock's only AoE buff.
Discard warlock isn't missing on draw, but Felhound requires a very specific hand-state to discard Hand of Gul'dan for draw and is probably better off only using Nightshade Matron unless the print more cheap discard synergy.
Yup, Warlock basically got Penance, which is pretty good!

Caro hit it on the head, I figure Greybough is a 'she' based on how her voice lines sound. It isn't confirmed anywhere else and its a bit of an assumption, but that was my interpretation.

Awesome to hear it! It's always a big scary making these guides since my personal testing can only go so far, so I'm always stoked to hear that people have a good time with the decks!

Rally! helps with summoning more Horrendous Growths, and can synergize pretty well with Fairground Fool, but Rally! is still a slow setup. What kinds of decks are you having trouble with?

I touch on the Silence aspect of Horrendous Growth in the Budget / Alternate Options section! Unsleeping Soul acts like a cheaper Faceless Manipulator that comes with the added benefit of removing Freeze! Y'Shaarj, the Defiler adds the most Corrupted Horrendous Growths that you play back to you hand. This is also true for Raise Dead or resurrect effects, which use whatever version of Horrendous Growth died. Like sinti pointed out, each Corrupt version is its own distinct card and technically not a buffed version of the base Horrendous Growth.
Strongman is certainly a good defensive Corrupt card, but the issue is that prior or Dark Inquisitor Xanesh or drawing it off of Insight, there isn't really a way to Corrupt it in this deck. If you slot in something like Plague of Death it becomes a lot better, but without adjustments Strongman doesn't have a place in the deck.

I'm generally not a fan of playing OTK decks, but this does sound like quite the way to do it! With your setup, you also have the mana to play Embalming Ritual on Soulbound Ashtongue and a second Horrendous Growth, meaning you might be able to bust through armor or only need two 15/15s instead of one 30/30. If you get mana savings through Insight or G'huun the Blood God, you could also Hysteria the first Horrendous Growth for similar effect if you Embalming Ritual-ed the Ashtongue. It's awesome hearing about how you remixed the deck into a new idea :)

Loving all the stories people are sharing! Completely forgot to put in a mention of Scheming enemy minions, so it's awesome to hear about people's experiences with it!

I've definitely thought about it, but I don't play very much Wild and am a bit less familiar with the shenaniganry capable within it. However, I could certainly try. If I end up making a Wild version for this series, it won't be for a bit so I have time to get familiar with the format and draft up a few decks.

Super happy to hear you've been having fun with the decks! Thank you for the kind and supportive words, reading these kinds of comments is a huge morale boost and makes me excited to write more guides! <3

Sorry I'm coming in late, its been a hectic week x_x
Rusted is a bit of a call back to my entry from the 10-mana spell contest with a slight adjustment. I'll remember to make it a Mech if I end up submitting it.
Grave Giant is a tad spooky, but damn I want Zoo Priest to be a thing.

This looks awesome! I desperately want to play a Deck of Chaos deck, but there's no way I can craft it with my current dust budget. Have you tried [Hearthstone Card (Rusteed Raider) Not Found]? It's a decent card prior to DoC, but becomes really strong once DoC's online.

Spell Priest is almost a thing, so I thought I'd push some support for it. Not 100% sure why I got so inspired by 'memory' as a card theme/name. I'm a bit more inclined towards Malcious since Shattered seems like it could be dangerous, but I think the restriction might warrant it.

Hell, you could also use Youthful Brewmaster and Tickatus to further the disruption degeneracy!

As far as I know, yes. I am pretty sure Tonk is just a very silly version of 'tank'.

Great to hear! Hope you have a good time with the deck :D
Stickyfingers a total of 4 times and an Ooze against a highlander mage. It is admittedly pretty soulcrushing, but such is the price of memes.
Thanks for the kind words and support! I've been having a blast writing these articles and I can't wait to share more nonsense in the future!
Unexpected, but very welcome nonetheless! Great interpretation of what the ongoings of the Tavern might look like! Poor Uther though D:
