  • When they first announced the specialist format, I was super pumped for it and was theorycrafting ways we could make use of it on decks. I wanted to build in support because of all the tournament list sharing we will end up doing.

With the format looking like it may not even last half a year, I'm not sure if it is worth putting time into making it a thing. Definitely still something I want to look into though.

I cant get in, wait time 230 minutes.  I wish they would announce something.

    540 here, LUL.

There is a message up on the launcher, they know of the issue.

  • Happy Friday! Wrapping up some bugs for the end of the week and documenting changes from earlier in the week that didn't make it into dedicated notes.. oops. Work continues tomorrow!

Big weekend goal is to have brand new card images imported for better consistency on the site. This will very likely include animated cards and animated card backs. The Pack Opener may also make an appearance this weekend, if not, it will appear early next week.

    New Features

    • The card back galleryThis has actually been live a few days.
      • It automatically updates with each patch once assets get rendered.
      • You can comment on individual card backs.
      • In a future update we'll let you favourite card backs and maybe even rank them!
      • What else would you like to see us do with card backs?
    • You can now change your password via Account Management.

    Changes

    • Decks now flag themselves only based on patches where card changes occurred, not small bug fix patches.
    • Deck Listing patch drop down now only displays patches with card changes.
    • Sortable columns now display arrows indicating the direction of sort.
    • Deck Listing Updated column now sorts by newest first on first click.

    Bug Fixes

    • Dust calculations on decks now correctly counts duplicate cards.
    • All dust calculations and standard / wild flagging has been recalculated.
    • Added Hearthstone breadcrumbs where they were missing on the site.
    • Site sign out will no longer redirect you to our admin page.
  • I just ran some code site-wide to fix all the decks after a deploy that fixed the initial problem. This also fixes Standard and Wild flagging where old decks never got updated.

Great! But MAKE SURE everything we do now counts towards the future achievements :) For all of us - the early birds supporting you since Day 1 :) I'm an achievements whore :D

This should be possible for MOST stuff. Obviously if we have an achievement to view a certain page that isn't something we're tracking right now. The same would go for like, logging in to the website for x days in a row (I don't think we're gonna do that).

  • Exactly! I recommend people drop their Twitch Prime subs :D

  • Really want to get work done on search. Would make life easier on so many fronts to have search. No ETA but it won't be that far out.

    Can I have Skarsnik, please?

No context needed. One of the best characters and shows ever :)

True dat! I've gotta seriously rewatch The Wire at some point.. maybe when we get OOC up to snuff :D

  • Just wanted to follow up on this.

    • No urls on the site are able to be used on HTTP anymore. This was updated late last week.
    • A bug has been logged for the urls being sent in emails to correctly send with HTTPS as the protocol
  • This has been resolved in a ninja update this morning.

  • Mobile patch should arrive in the next couple of hours according to this post.

The 14.4 update for mobile will now begin at or around 9am PDT tomorrow morning, June 4. The update will take some time to complete, so please allow an hour or so to see the update reflected on your device. We will provide updates during this time as well so you know when to expect to see the game live.

Would this have support for custom classes too? What about support for custom classes/sets outside of your own?

End goal is to support custom *everything* =D

I do not have a timeline on any of that though and card competitions would likely not allow the use of custom classes and sets, though some may.

  • There's a long list of stuff we want to support with regards to custom card design, decks is one of them. ^^
