According to the OneStore page, they also get a free Illidan Stormrage mercenary when they purchase a Mercenaries pre-order bundle.

I would think Freeze keeps them from acting at all, but Root just keeps them from Attacking. BIG difference.
If that's not the difference, there must be something. It would be really out of character for Blizz to add a whole keyword just for flavor.
There are tons of abilities with Spell Combo, mostly on casters. They are actually named Fel Combo, Fire Combo, Frost Combo, etc.
Let's talk about Ring of Haste.
On other cards, "your" basically has to mean "the player," so it refers to anything you do with any Merc.
I assume, therefore, that the Ring of Haste makes ALL Shadow abilities faster on ALL Mercs in the party? That's pretty nuts.
Flurry refers to other character as "them."
Ice Lance refers to other character as "it."
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
Blessing of Protection refers to other character as "them."
Hammer of Justice refers to other character as "it."
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
Tamsin is surprisingly strong for a free rare. She and Jaraxxus are going to be good friends.

Surely Benediction data is out there to be mined?
I love that you can use equipment to make him less of a niche unit, but he's still at his best with other Murlocs.

Muddy Footing is pretty fast and doesn't even have a cooldown? Seems too good to be true!
Brightwing's Ring seems kind of pointless in PvE unless you are expecting someone to die.
Wow, talk about diminishing returns on ability upgrades ... I wonder if that has something to do with synergies, or if it's just meant to reduce the amount of power you can buy with cash.
