We've already seen how bonkers double spells can be with Double Time in Duels, so this card will be played in some interesting combo decks... or just Malygos decks :D
I was actually just thinking how much I'd love to see this spell in Duels, not with Double Time (which wouldn't do anything), but with the massive spell damage Druid can achieve there.
Just adding another solid damage spell for Druid is a pretty big deal. Of course, this is the end of an expansion cycle, so I suppose a lot of ciritical masses throughout the game are reached at this time.
It's time for a Teddy Bear rampage! I'm not sure if or how Prize Plunderer fits into the puzzle, but every other Rogue card we've seen so far is very heavy-handedly leading us to this archetype.
I can see this MAYBE working in a deck that's heavy on spells and draw, but realistically I'm not sure that kind of Warlock deck can survive long enough to see the payoff.
Does this really work with the Teddy Bears? Aren't they Spells which gets cast when drawn? Sorry for me not knowing the mechanic.
Yes, [Hearthstone Card (Teddy Bear) Not Found]s are cards in your deck. This card can cause you to draw them, at which point they would cast themselves and draw you another card. Plus, the more Teddy Bears you have in your deck, the greater the odds you will discover one.
Grand Empress Shek'zara is cuckoo-bananas, and not just because of the Teddy Bears! There are a lot of things that become far more powerful when you have both copies in hand, such as burn spells and poison as the simplest examples.
I'll go ahead and say it -- Darkmoon Faire is kind of a dumb idea for an expansion theme. That's why we're getting so many cards that seem a bit ... forced.
But flavor aside, I like this Secret a lot in a vacuum, but less in a very aggressive meta. Too bad it doesn't look like they're doing anything to rein in the DH shirt-show.
It's weird to me that everyone is comparing this to Zilliax and not Shirvallah, the Tiger. Same exact stats and abilities, just with taunt and a different activation scenario.
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. Also, the fact that it's not Magnetic makes it a completely different card.
Someone else said Paladin has better removal options, but I doubt those remove and heal and generate a decent body with Taunt.
Apologies to Dekkster, but it's not Grey-Bo. It rhymes with "now."
A bough is a tree branch, as in "when the bough breaks."
Actually directly rewards using a deck tracker.
Still seems meh.
I just love that Balance Druid is finally seeing some representation in this game.

Double-plus-two your Prize Plunderer battlecry!
But seriously, great card. If you don't see the potential, you probably don't play much Rogue.
There is nothing "meh" about this. It is extremely good for the meta we're about to see.

No, they are just pushing Silver Hand Pally in Standard, and the side effect of that will always mean a boost for Wild Odd.
I'm pretty sure Wild is almost never a consideration in design decisions for new expansions.
I, for one, do not mind seeing DH get a so-so legendary.
Too bad it's useless against the most OP archetype in the world
If a card can be made broken with simple combos, that card is usually considered broken, period.

Better than interesting but weak.

Is Dude Paladin even a thing in Standard? Is there more support than just Air Raid?
(Asking honestly, haven't played much this year.)
At least they've finally figured out that hand buffs need to be cheap.
Tutor effects are always somewhat OP. This could be a 2/5 and people would still play it.
