I don't think that Aggro Shadow Priest is the right call, as Brandon mentioned there are a lot of control tools that are shadow. Insight, Palm Reading, Raise Dead, Soul Mirror, just to name a few. I think that Shadow Priest will instead look more along the lines of Control Mage than anything else.
The problem with a Spikeridged Steed in Priest vs Paladin is that Priest doesn't have the endless supply of Silverhand Recruits. Obviously it is big pile of stats for the cost, but if the mount cards become too popular, I can see Secret Rogue rising to the top by punishing with Blackjack Stunner.
Adding on to your last point, I'm starting to feel that at some point Blizzard should pull the trigger and turn Battlegrounds and/or Mercenary mode or whatever future game mode nto their own apps. Keep the interconnectivity with levels and gold and what not, but honestly why aren't these separate games?
Oh that'll be a fantastic start, pretty sure the Deal 3and give yourself 3 attack spell is Nature, can pull out the Cagematch Custodian which draws your Doomhammer, I think that such a deck is pretty promising.
Even in general it can pull out Serpent Shrine Portal, Torrent, Lightning Bolt, and the Elemental that discovers a spell if you played one last turn, Arid Stormer, Lilypad Lurker.
My issue with Serena is that priest just lost Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Madness, Forbidden Word, etc. so there's not much for priest to take advantage of the now smaller enemy minion other than Cabal Acolyte (which also dropped off the face of the meta)
Not all of them, Kurtrus, Rokara, and Xyrella's first and third arts are the hero portraits from this expansion's Tavern Pass. Presumably we'll get portraits for the other mercenaries this way over the next two expansions (though that does seem to only account for 9 out of the 10.)
For a cult called "Death's Head", surprisingly doesn't want you to die. Solid anti-aggro card, and comes down sooner than something like Khartut Defender or Rotten Applebaum.
5/5, could slot this as is in Priest and get 2 MORE copies of Renew, Palm Reading, Soul Mirror...

OH MY GOD IS THAT A SNAKE?!?! WITH WINGS?!?!?!?!?
I unironically watched Blitzchung's last hero standing matches to learn how to play Token Druid
A dirty rat that COMPLETELY shreds the minion; there's no card that can recover cards you've discarded other than what, Dinomancer in Warlock?

Overload Session: 2 Mana Spell, Overload: 1, Draw cards equal to your current Overloaded Mana Crystals (X).

Dean has at least seen/used the Dea-ckatus one, so he likely has seen them as the Out of Cards Twitter account posts the news.
... and then have to repeat it on mobile, send it over to Apple and Google...
Especially that middle Imp Mama one. Drop dead sexy.

Excellent card, especially since the discount carries over to the next turn.
"Mom, can we keep Twin Slice?"
"No honey, we already have Twin Slice in the new expansion."
Twin Slice in the new expansion:
Not nearly as flexible as Twin Slice was, and very few Demon Hunter decks try to go 10+ turns where this card becomes great.
Worse Wandmaker, seems bad.
This, combined with Rogue's draw, makes me VERY scared of this card.

I'm already missing Penance... at least it can hit stealth minions, but other than that, it seems underwhelming.
