My two favorites are definitely Ionia and Pilltover & Zaun. My favorite deck during the preview patches was a spell based deck with Karma and/or Heimerdinger and/or Ezreal. There were so many directions you could go while playing that deck. Sometimes I'd go crazy with heimerdinger and create an endless army of turrets, sometimes Ezreal would upgrade and burst the opponent to death, sometimes Karma would go crazy and provide tons of value, and often a combination of those champions would work great together and do the trick.

My favorite moment playing the deck was when I created an insane amount of value thanks to Karma, but my opponent was still able to keep up and it was a very tense game. However, I was able to get and activate a Purrsuit of Perfection with a leveled up Karma on the board, creating two Cataclysms which were of course quite difficult for my opponent to deal with. I even remember seeing that card for the first time the day before and thinking "wow that's really cool but it's probably going to take a while before I see that happening". I was very happen to be proven wrong about that.

Flavor wise, thats kinda off for Anivia, isnt it? 🤔

Yeah, the level up requirement of dying, becoming Eggnivia, and resurrecting again certainly felt much more flavorful. It is a bit of a shame but I guess this was a case where balance was prioritized over flavor, which I can certainly understand.

On the other hand, Anivia being almost exclusively an offensive card always felt off since she is supposed to be like a protector of Freljord (at least as far as I know, I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to Runeterra lore). Her now being able to block feels more appropriate where that is concerned, and based on the stats that are visible here they might have reduced her attack (since the attack values shown are apparently buffed stats) and my guess is that means that they increased her health which can also be useful for blocking.

"Anivia cost increased to 7 and when it transforms you become Enlightened (get boosted to 10 mana)."

I don't think you worded this correctly. You don't become enlightened when Anivia transforms, it's the reverse: Anivia transforms when you become enlightened. It's the same condition required for Karma to level up.

Galak's Shaman and Warrior seems a bit overtuned. Especially the Warrior's Invoke mechanic (+3 attack is too much) and the Shaman Galak Battlecry.

Galak's Warlock and Rogue are fine.

Galak's Priest needs a rework. I would like to see a better Invoke. I'd suggest "Discover a Priest Minion"

Necrium Apothecary is not the real problem. Anubisath Warbringer is.

They will never nerf Ancharrr and I wont complain about it.

Yeah let's blame the 9-drop that does nothing when you play it instead of the 4-drop that has a targeted draw effect and also allows you to cheat out high cost deathrattles.

Also, Ancharrr is dumb because it allows pirate warriors to randomly highroll and have way more resources than such a deck should have.

My favourite games are the "soulsborne" games made by Fromsoftware, which include Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Demon Souls (which I haven't played) and I like to include Sekiro Shadows Die Twice as well because I also loved that one. Out of those my favourite has been Bloodborne from the moment I finished it. It has great exploration and level design, I love the creepy atmosphere, I love the soundtrack, and most of all the gameplay is incredibly fun and rewarding once you get good at it. It also offers a lot of replay value because there are so many weapons with very different movesets, making the gameplay feel a lot different each time you use a different build.

Besides that there are a lot of other games I like, but as you might be able to tell from my profile picture I'm also a huge Undertale fan :p. It has been a while since I played it, but when I did I loved almost everything about it. The music, the exploration, the clever humour, the depth of its characters, even the gameplay which is pretty simplistic is made fun by the choices it offers you (you can choose to kill monsters or you can spare them by fleeing, making them scared, making them like you, or other ways unique to some monsters). The amount of depth put into this seemingly simplistic game is mind-blowing, especially when you consider that the creator Toby Fox made most of the game by himself. And yes I know the Undertale community has not made a very good impression on others, but trust me when I say that that is because of a very (and I mean VERY) vocal minority, because there are a lot of undertale fans who are very nice people and with whom its great to share the passion and love for this game.

Now I could go on forever about other games that I love, so I will just list some honorable mentions here:

    - Terraria (for a way too small price it offers incredibly great exploration, fun gameplay, and after years and years it has constantly been getting free updates, with a final big update coming next year)

    - Subnautica (again, great exploration, and absolutely gorgeous environments and an atmosphere that completely sucks you into it)

    - Mario Galaxy 1&2 (both have incredibly fun gameplay and a gorgeous soundtrack, but 1 offers a better story while 2 excels in its level design, I would say I like 2 the most)

Yes, the current pity timer is pretty ridiculous. Let's say a free to play player earns about 80 gold per day thanks to daily quests and 10 gold for 3 wins, it will take 4000 gold/80 gold per day = 50 days to get one legendary if they are unlucky enough to hit the pity timer. FIFTY. DAYS. And that's assuming that they have the time to play every single day and win at least 6 to 9 games per day (depending on whether they get 50 or 60 gold quests).

And like others have already mentioned, the cost of epics is stupidly high as well. The fact that you can still open duplicate epics while people have been asking for that change for years makes Blizzard seem incredibly greedy (whether they actually are or not).

I have only played it between ranks 20-15, but I'm currently 10-1 with this Galakrond priest deck I made:

The big question is: does it actually play minions (as in does it activate battlecries) or does it just dump all minions on the board like Tess Greymane does? The wording suggests that it works similar to Tess which would make this quite a bit less exciting in my opinion. Still very cool, but not as cool as it could be.

    For the memers out there:

    Almost Gurubashi otk?:

    Step 1: Play Gurubashi Berserker.

Step 2: Make sure your opponent doesn't have any minions.

Step 3: Play Dark Skies with six other cards in hand.

    Step 4: EZ 20 damage.

No, you don't get to have any cards:

    Step 1: Play wild.

    Step 2: Play Howlfiend.

Step 3: Play Treachery on the Howlfiend.

Step 4: Play Dark Skies with as many cards in hand as possible.

    Step 5: ???

    Step 6: Profit.

    Almost Hydra otk:

    Step 1: Play wild.

    Step 2: Play Bittertide Hydra.

Step 3: Play Treachery on the Bittertide Hydra.

Step 4: Play Dark Skies with as many cards in hand as possible.

    Step 5: ???

    Step 6: Profit.

Additional step somewhere in between: Have The Coin or play Emperor Thaurissan

Damn, I feel like the black sheep here. I actually like it? Maybe something IS wrong for me. That's what my mom wrote in every birthday card until I was ten.

I'm with you, we obviously don't know how good the emotes are but I love the theme and how she looks. If I hadn't decided to stop spending (large amounts of) money on Hearthstone I would have definitely bought this bundle.

Why is this a hunter weapon and not a shaman weapon? It feels weird for hunters to have a hammer as a weapon, especially one with a lightning effect. Loudly smashing things with lightning doesn't really help all that much when hunting something. They could have made it a stormspear instead, which would have also made it a cooler weapon in general in my opinion.

@DoubleSummon I disagree, if something isn't present in the current form of the gamemode doesn't mean it can never work. Adding handbuffs could create a whole different strategy where people might focus on buying more minions instead of rerolling to look for specific ones. And like I said in the notes, I think making Bob act as "the opponent" in between battle phases would allow cards that interact with the opponent's minions to be added to this game mode. I think it's important to stay open minded when considering what is/could be possible.

@Demonxz95 Yeah I didn't really think about it but I guess it would buff itself at the beginning of the shop phase.

I didn't notice the watermark thing but yeah that's pretty weird. Doesn't really matter for what I wanted to show in my post though :p

Dragons! I haven't played battlegrounds yet so the balancing of the tavern tiers on these is probably trash, but I think some of these could be really interesting and fun additions to battlegrounds.

    Some notes:

    - Golden alexstrasza would set your hero's health to 30

    - Golden Emeriss would quadruple the attack and health of minions in your hand

    - Golden Scaled Nightmare would quadruple his attack

    - The idea of Swamp Dragon Egg and Bone Drake is that they give you insane value (if they die during the battle phase) at the cost of having a relatively weak minion that takes up a board space.

    - The poisonous 2/1 that is summoned by the Marsh Drake is added to Bob's minions and can therefore be bought for 3 gold. Maybe the golden version could summon either two of them or a golden version of the poisonous dude?

Edit: added twilight guardian because I forgot to do it at first. Also it should probably be tier 2 and not tier 3 but I'm too lazy to change it :p

I LOVE that you still get a reasonable amount of xp for losing a game. This way you're encouraged to just play the game however you want. If you want to have fun with a relatively weak deck or you want to try something different which may be risky because you don't know how good it will be, that's fine because you're simply rewarded for playing the game. I hate that in hearthstone you get almost nothing for losing (or just nothing if you have reached the max level with all classes), because it just makes losing feel a lot worse.
