This would have to be played in a deck full of cheaper cards that you can dump on the board as fast as possible. I guess maybe you could dump an insurmountable amount of stats on the board the turn you play this, maybe get a few rush murlocs to thin out your opponent's board, because this is going to die on your opponent's turn. I haven't seen murloc decks in ages, so I'm going to assume there will need to be more murloc support before this sees play.
This might be good. It would largely depend on the average cost of quickdraw cards, but you could possibly do a lot in one turn. I imagine Rogue would love this.
Don't know how many decks are running both large elementals and large beasts that greatly benefit from being cheated out, but this looks really good if those decks exist.
Ooh, handbuff for Hunter. I was just thinking when I was commenting on Theldurin the Lost how it would be better with handbuff, but I wasn't sure Hunter had much for handbuff. I just know Paladin as the handbuff class.
I'm not certain, but I think the internet has moved past the trolley problem. As for the card, two 3/3 rush minions for 3 Mana is pretty good, but only if you have targets. Discard synergy is a thing, so it won't always be a drawback if you don't quickdraw this.
Feels like a waste if the only target has 2 Health or so, but maybe you should still take the 1 Mana ping as this triples in price if you hold on to it.
This would probably be a lot better if it only hit minions, or only hit face. Face is probably better, as it might just win right there if you have a full hand. As it is now, your opponent needs to have an empty board and you have a lot of cards, which combined with the cost probably makes for a weak card. Though if it only hit minions you could waste a lot of potential if have a large hand and their total board health isn't very high.
I don't think I've ever seen a card that does random split damage to minions, then if there's damage left over it goes to the face.
Okay, this is real nice excavate synergy. Unless you've had terrible luck, you probably have excavated way more than twice by turn 7. I'll take a 7 Mana 7/7 taunt plus bonus Frostwyrm's Fury thank you very much. I feel this would work better in a deck that tends toward high cost cards, but I'm not sure how well that will work with Frost Rune cards.
Well, this seems like a fairly good board clear. It won't kill things with more the 3 Health, but I think in most cases a few things will die. Decimator Olgra will probably kill more things, assuming they are already damaged and they don't have too much total attack.
This sounds good in a deathrattle heavy deck. Not sure how strong highlander plus deathrattle will be. Of course if that's what you're going for you'd prefer 4/1 stats, though that might be too broken.
I'm not entirely sure when you'd play this. If you've lost 1/3 of your health, or more if you have Prince Renathal or something, by turn 4, most of the time you're in a bad spot, but there probably aren't a lot of single targets you can put on time out to make a huge difference. Maybe in the mid-late game you game you can temporarily remove a large taunt or some aura buff minion. You can do this three times, but because of how locations work it's slow as hell.
I'm not sure the Hearthstone wiki was even in the top 500 in terms of number of pages. Wowpedia is like #2 or so. Let's hope they leave. Still, for like 99% of stuff there is no alternative other than Fandom.
Yeah, but if you still have it, they can simply see you have two copies already. I guess they are only looking at the history and not your current collection, but it should be pretty easy to do so.
Damn broken notification system not telling me someone replied. Saw this had two comments so I decided to check.
Yeah, that sucks. I was thinking more on the lines of say for example you own Small-Time Buccaneer from MSG. Since it's really the same card it should show as owned in your collection under CoT as well, but I'm guessing that isn't the case. Same thing in reverse if you don't have the original, but open it in CoT.
Do you mean they started tracking cards you previously owned in 2020? Because there doesn't need to be any special tracking for cards you currently own.
Not sure what the main set would be if CoT was a mini-set. Legacy? I like the idea of being able to get the buffed cards from one place, assuming the buffs are worthwhile, and it didn't have the duplicate problems. That way you can just get some packs to pick up the new cards and anything of the reprints you don't already have.
I haven't bought any Caverns of Time packs, but it sounds like ownership is separate for each version of the same card, even though the originals got buffed to match the CoT versions, and I'm guessing you can't have two copies of the original version and two of the CoT version in the same deck. Wouldn't it make a lot more sense if you open or craft a card from the original set, you are considered to own it in CoT too, or vice versa?
Or I guess they want you to buy CoT packs so you can get all the cards you already have.

3 Mana is a pretty good size discount. Maybe you play this on 5 and play King Krush on 6. That might be good.

Since I don't feel like checking if Shaman has good 4 Mana elementals, I'll just say this card is useless unless a few of them exist.

3 damage plus more excavating for 3 Mana? Sounds pretty good. And it isn't limited for what you can target.

Excavate is something you want to trigger as much a possible, so a cheap trigger like this is really good.

Oh, so it's been seven months since we had a card back article. I knew it had been a while. I wouldn't have checked if it weren't for the tag.
