It really bothers me how much everyone hates this.
It only bothers you because of how much you are letting yourself hate it. Just stop talking about it, stop making such a big deal about it, or any kind of deal about it. and it wont bother you anymore.
You don't understand people with OCD, do you? You can't just stop being bothered by something. That's not how it works.
I understand what OCD is. Most people who say they have OCD just mean they notice a detail and it annoys them. That is not OCD, that is being a normal person. I am sure there are some people playing hearthstone who have Obsessive-Compulsion Disorder. but most people who hate the 5 gold so much don't have OCD but are just making it more annoying for themselves by obsessing over it and buying arena runs just to get rid of it.
Most people would have the 5 gold bother them less if they would just stop obsessing over it so much. I am not saying this is true for everyone, but most people are just making this worse for themselves.

I really don't like that guy, he is too OP as he is. I don't know if you intended it to work like this, but you are potentially denying your opponent 3 draws, which is huge. unless you are playing tons of draw cards in your deck, then not drawing your initial card is an amazing disadvantage. and you are not really losing much by playing a 4 mana 4/4
also, as yourprivatenightmare mentioned above, it is a little silly to print a card that has no other purpose than to counter a single archetype. It would be better to print a card that can do something on its own no matter what you are playing against, but is also a counter to highlander cards.
so all in all, I like the idea, but the card is not very good as it is.

I tried to make a 'frog shaman' that used any frog or toad minion as well as a bunch of cheap lighting spells. it did not work, but it was super fun to build!

I thought Elise already worked like that, whenever I have more than 5 cards being copied, she always gave me the left-most cards. I guess I was just lucky?

when you are talking about the flavor of the MTG cards, you mention why you think those cards have shroud, it is not because they can fly and dodge, it is because they are magical beings that can negate your spells. maybe the leopard only has shroud because it can camouflage and dodge and stuff, but the sphinx, the leviathan, and the wall all have shroud because of they have a magical ability that allows them to ignore your magic. And the sphinx is able to look at your library because sphinx's are able to see into the future or something.

Mage doesn't have any taunts, but it has ways of generating taunts.
In MTG, Shroud and Hexproof are both keywords, and they are both very similar. hexproof is just like shroud, except shroud means nothing can target it, but when it is hexproof, you can target it, but your opponent can't.

How is Hidden Spikes supposed to work? what does your opponent see? does your opponent see you spending 4 mana, then a card dissapears from your hand, and nothing happens? and why isn't it a secret? also, compair it to Explosive Runes, or Snipe. it just isn't a very good card, and I have no idea how it would work.
2 packs but when 25k people watching/is online chance are slim.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if there are 63,000 packs, and 25,000 people watching, then everyone should get 2-3 packs assuming the packs are evenly spread.

it would be cool if we could get meta reports like this for wild as well as standard. I really enjoy reading these meta reports, but I mostly play wild so in the end I don't really get anything out of it.

I tried not to just add in random C'thun buffing minions, I tried to be strategic in what i chose. beckoner of evil and twilight elder are the only 'vanilla' minions, and I do like having them both because they are good stats to help the early game. crazed worshiper is there because he is a solid taunt, as well as c'thun buffs. and I run a single doomcaller just so that I can get more C'thuns in the deck.
I might try removing twilight elder and adding some other battlecry minion instead. about the quest, it does make you lose a card from your starting hand, and I am not sure exactly what it would do. you have the C'thun buffs, but usually you don't lose games because your c'thun is too small, and you have the healbot, but if you need more healing there might be simpler options, and you can use thaurison and get double shudderwock, but once you are able to play infinite shudderwocks, you have already won whether or not they have double battlecries.

I am not playing this deck on ranked, it is marked as "just for fun". if you don't like the list that is fine, you don't have too. if you want to gut half the list and play a jade quest shaman, go for it.
you don't have to play Cho, if you want to change the list that is fine, this is just what I have been having fun with.
I can't seem to finish the final boss anybody got any luck with it?
I picked the treasure that gives your minions a passive plus 1/1 and then went all-in on the Token strategy which seemed to work well. However, I got lucky before the final boss as my 2nd treasure was the Robes that reduce your cards by half (but you can only play 2 per turn). Wispering Woods plus Power of the Wild into 2x Blessing of the Ancients burns down the boss before he gets going.
I picked captured flag (+1/+1) and boom (3 x 1/1 bots). Means you start with 3 x 2/2 that deal damage when they die. Good early pressure for later tokens.
Yeah those starts seem pretty good I'll try it out and let you guys/girls know, thanks!
my favorite treasure is the goggles that makes your left-most card cost 2 less. it is an insane card that I almost always pick, you can empty your hand on turn 1 sometimes

I didn't think it would come across as mean, usually I have a lighthearted and fun attitude towards Janky combo decks. I guess I assume everyone does :P

good question, you only have 9 spells in the deck, most of the time that is less than your opponent has. and Far Sight, unlike your other spells, is never something you need right now. so there are really only 7 cards in your deck that is inconvenient for cho. And your opponent really doesn't want you to have cho. I have had people concede right after I play cho once or twice.
basically, if you don't cast spells for 2/3 turns, it wont hurt you as much as if your opponent doesn't cast spells for 2/3 turns. give him a chance, but if you don't like him you could put anything else you think is appropriate.

coin on one. it is definitely worth it, it is very important to get the quest finished as soon as possible. I tried running innervates just so that I would be more likely to have a turn one quest>coin

never said it was a bad thing. its just a little funny
no.
I was a bit surprised myself

this guy has made like 20 decks, all of them are dumb OTK's. I have never seen a Johnny that is more Johnny than this guy.
I was building a C'Thun shaman deck on this site and when I was choosing the archetype I noticed there was no option for a "C'thun Shaman".
I would like to request that the mods add a "c'thun shaman" option to the shaman archetypes. thanks!
