Horn of Wrathion might just make Kazakusan Priest viable, since it has 4 tutors in its deck if you also count Insight. That means that, if you run no other minions, 1 in 6 cards in the deck are the big dragon himself, which is insanely consistent.
Yeah, the fact that you can't convert SRs to URs is really bad. Doesn't help that A LOT of staple cards are also UR (or maybe it's a good thing because they can go in a lot of decks).
Yeah, saw a reddit post about it. I'm not super familiar with LoL champs, and I heard that people were expecting Ormm or Volibear, and the latter seemed more likely of the two, but if people say it's Udyr, it's probably Udyr.
Those cards were likely printed before Pot was banned, and Konami seems to not really care that a bunch of cards are unplayable. Also, there's Traditional format, where banned cards are only limited.
Zodiacs are fairly inexpensive, and they're also pretty good in standard.

I'd say swap Oh My Yogg! with Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. Yeah, it's from a completely unrelated expansion, and Mage already has Mask of C'Thun for this cycle, but I think it fits much better.

Yeah, those decks don't seem to be worth it. Good news is that Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon decks seem to at least be decent.
Never said it failed, hell, it's among my favorite mechanics in card games, up there with slivers/survivors. it just felt kinda vulnerable.
