  • Would something like Ancient Void Hound count for this competition?

  • Hello, folks! I'm baaack!

Got 2 ideas this week, though I think I like Hail Storm better:

Me0203: The murloc is a little busted IMO. I like the Voidmancer, but you can probably word it as "Battlecry and Shadow Combo:".

linkblade91: This only works if that particular expansion has a bunch of Shadow Spells for Druid, which might lose you points. Don't like that it's basically an infinite 3/2, but that might not be that strong? Not sure.

AeroJulwin: Good card! Not much else to say.

BasilAnguis: I also had a Mage card with all the Combos in the back of my mind, I like your implementation. Equilibrium is a little odd, since it does nothing without the Combos, but that might be ok.

Wailor: Damn, both are pretty good! The Scribe might be better, since there's a better chance the Combos actually trigger. It's also kinda anti-synergistic, since you want the Damage BEFORE you cast the spells.

R: The issue here is that Spell Schools were introduced in FitB, which is the expansion after this card's.

  • Wow, Nine Lives is absolutely insane! 2 minions at Burst speed? Zoinks!

What a dumb idea. Multis could easily exploit a system like this. This is coming from someone who came from a card game whose economy has broken down due to this feature.

    What game is that?

  • Prepare to crumble! BEFORE RUMBLE!

  • It's been leaked. Though the leak I saw hides a bunch of stats and the first region, so who knows how accurate it is.

  • THIS. IS. TARGON!

Ok, 300 reference out of the way. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to loop that theme till the Sun turns red.

Edit: I know it was revealed yesterday, but the icon for the new keyword is kinda silly.

  • Recall is the obvious support for Kennen, but this also works well with tokens, like Sand Soldier, Spectral Rider, Spiderling, and Blade. Wonder if there'll be a deck to use him like this.

  • "The Knight being able to jump over other pieces completely brakes the game, that ability needs to be removed!"

  • Oh, hey, Bandle City Yasuo might actually be a thing!

  • Yeah, I just checked my account, it seems I have the cards. But there was no notification when I logged in, so I wasn't 100% sure.

  • Turn my spell into a weapon, because a musical instrument makes to much sense! Added it in MatDM because E.T.C., God of Metal is also in that set, albeit in Warrior.

linkblade91: New Raise Some Hell looks good. I still think Nightfall should only feature a select number of Worgens, but the exact list is probably hard to show outside of listing them in the description.

Arkasaur: I really like your second version of Hymn, and it's a lot more flavorful this way. Good job!

Fedrion: Like the effect, but it's kinda expensive. Maybe cost it at 4?

Neoguli: The spell is awesome, but severely undercosted. Make it 2 or 3 mana. #GiveChooseOneToOtherClasses

  • Riot: "You know what would be funny...?"

  • Is Freeze Shaman legit or what?

  • You're welcome! I don't usually cover the LoR side of things, I just wrote the Article because Flux was busy at the time. I'll see if any of the regulars are able to cover this.

  • First idea:

Wailor: Both cards look good, but I like the flavor of Thunderbass more.

Demonxz95: Kinda weak, considering the power level of the cords. And it's dependent on your opponent's hand.

AeroJulwin: I like Inspiring Ballad. Seems a little cheap, but then it feels kinda bad at 3. Maybe +2/+1? The piper is too similar to that one Witchwood legendary.

linkblade91: Love the idea! What are the Worgens summoned by Nightfalls? Raise Some Hell feels like it should be a resurrect effect/Demon summoning effect. We Shall Never Fall looks good.

    anchorm4n: Looks good.

Iceblood Tower - I was 200% sure that Alterac would've brought us at least one big Frost spell, and it went exactly as I believed: there were just too many positive signals for it to not happen. For the spell itself, Iceblood Tower wants you to run lots of impactful stuff in your deck, and I am glad that Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron isn't in Standard anymore.

Pyroblast go BOOM! Because I'm not a reasonable person!
