If you [runecard]Vengeance[/runecard] an enemy unit, [runecard]Ravenous Butcher[/runecard] a friendly one, and 3 more units die via combat, you have 5 units 'slain'. Then cards have different triggers, like 'if you've slain 5 units', or 'whenever you slay a unit'.
