  • Played once. Opponent lagged out on turn 4. Yay for me!

  • I'll play this once. If I remember correctly, it takes FOREVER since you and your opponent both have to Discover at the start of each turn. Obviously, some crazy combos are possible, and that would be fun. Not necessarily worth a replay.

Here's a fun way you can play this with a friend though: you both have to automatically select the middle option (or left or right) without pausing to consider. Game goes faster, and you're both stuck with random stuff.

  • Very likely a scam. Proceed with caution. Don't give them any personal information. Do a little research to find out if they are a real company or other people have reported similar things. This is probably not the best place to seek information, no offense.

  • It's actually a valid question. I just tested it, and no you can't. However, both versions of the card do appear side by side. As soon as you add one to the deck, they both get that little flag that says you can only have one.

  • Looks awesome, I'll give it a shot. I have every card except Hex Lord. You make a good case for his value, and I do have the dust. Maybe I'll go ahead and craft. Do you think he's good in other decks as well? I always hesitate to craft class-specific legendaries if I don't know how versatile they'll be.

  • Why is Divine Strength paired with Unholy Strength instead of Holy Strength, which is literally the exact same, including thematically?

Really fun article by the way. Lovely walk down memory lane.

  • I really appreciate this discussion. I'm a Hearthstone only player, and as awesome as some other games sound, I just don't have the time or money to dive into something else. I'm glad the site is expanding and supporting other games people are interested in, and equally glad that I'll be able to filter those posts out for myself. Kudos to Flux and the team for their work, and for the communication!

  • Looks great. Can we discuss using the quest here? Obviously you want to be able to summon totems early on, but there are many battlecries that would benefit from doubling. Just a thought.

  • I love free stuff! I don't bother with golden cards myself, so this will be 140 dust. Every little bit counts. Also 2 free packs!

  • 12 minutes here. Just play shaman and Duplatransmogrify a Best Friend. You'll have them for every other run. I just played Rafaam, started with 19 Best Friends. Every game was a 19/19 charge on turn 1. Was it fun? Actually, a little bit. But the replay value is totally gone now.

  • If your dust is limited, I think Siamat has much more long term value. He fits in more decks and can do more things. Octosari can be great in several ways (plus you can do some meme combos with him) but is a dangerously dead draw in the late game. Darius is fun and reasonably good, but not as strong and will rotate sooner.

  • Hey, this will be fun for people. Let's have a brawl that you need to beat in a certain time frame, then give the second boss access to infinite Ice Blocks. No, she won't have any win condition or any hope of victory, she'll just stall the player out. GG.

  • The compulsive completionist in me is so frustrated by this. I just got all 9 golden earlier this year, and all are still below 600. I want those portraits but I don't want to grind again. Plus I've been playing a lot less ladder recently since the adventures are so fun. What to do? (First world problems)

  • Wow, people really like to complain about stupid little things. I didn't sign in thinking I'd go do a "first" thing, I just happened to see the post right after it was published and wanted to savor the moment. And then I said the thing I came there to say in the first place. Thanks for the hate, guys.

  • First!

Can't wait to see Rag and others tearing up Standard ladder!

  • I find it hilarious and fun that Jaraxxus can be killed by a 0-mana spell, but I think it's not a fair interaction overall, however rarely it actually happens. If that works, why can't Hungry Crab kill Morgl or Finley (in adventure mode)? Why can't E.M.P. Operative destroy Sir Annoy-O? Why can't Dragonslayer target the various dragon AI bosses we've seen, like Nefarian and Nozari?

Second point: would changing Sacrificial Pact so it can't kill Jaraxxus make him playable? A teeny bit more than now. Should he get a buff, like minus one mana, or plus 5 armor? I'd like to see that. Such a unique and fun card should be allowed to be viable.

Does buffing Jarraxus open a whole crazy can of worms for buffing other older cards that have been outclassed by newer cards? Oh yeah. Probably not a good idea.

  • This guy right here!

  • I've played a mixed dragon/mech synergy warrior before with inconsistent results. Trying to do both things pulled it away from being really strong (though Nightmare Amalgam is one of my favorite cards of all time). Is this one working out well? I've got War Master Voone sitting around collecting dust (no pun intended), so I might be interested.

  • Great article, well-done!

  • Public service announcement: fatigue resets for Plague Lords when they restock their decks. I had Death taking 7 fatigue damage, and when he got down to 100 health, his deck refilled as usual. Then I killed that deck with Azari, and he took 1 fatigue damage. Obviously, I still won. Turns out having 7 Lucentbarks and a first aid kit is pretty good.
