  • DO IT!!!!!

  • Absolutely brilliant! I particularly loved your sneaky use of Rat Trap. Thanks for the hearty laughs on my lunch break!

  • Just want to share that "Hearthstone" is an amazing treasure. I used it after getting the Heroic PlagueLord of Madness to 23 health and I was about to die. Went directly to Bob's, made a few deck adjustments, then faced the boss again, still at 23 health, but I was at full health (plus 5). Beat it!

  • Yeah, obviously it could potentially work in a big minions deck. However, my question was if anyone has actually used this treasure, and not regretted it. I'm guessing, like me, people are avoiding it. I mean, it even costs more than other options.

  • I'm wondering if anyone has taken the "Do the Math" option in Bob's Bazaar, and whether it actually worked out. I can't imagine a deck where you would want to ditch all your 1 and 2 cost cards. Is there a specific strategy someone has found where this is even remotely worthwhile? Sure, in the late game, you usually hate to draw cheap stuff, but just removing it from the deck entirely? When victory against the AI is so often dependent on a good early game? I'm dubious, but honestly curious to hear if anyone has gotten some value out of it.

  • I managed to get her to work once in normal, not heroic. The new hero power is super great. Not only are there so many busted treasures, but getting to discover instead of just a random one is awesome.

  • I've one-shotted the first boss 3 times, and the second one once. I also had to fight the second boss a second time, and his health pool was saved as it's supposed to be. Looks like this problem is only affecting some players. Maybe a mobile issues? My sympathies to those getting screwed. The bosses are hard enough as is.

  • Someone did a video on this at some point. I think you want to play Zephrys to as empty a board as possible, and have exactly 2 mana leftover so that he considers the Apprentice a good tempo play.

  • I would use Faceless Manipulator for this combo, not Prince Taldaram. That way you can run [Hearthstone Card (Time Out) Not Found], which seems like a must for this type of deck, as well as things that are already in the deck, like Salhet's Pride.

  • Thanks for this! I have not done this, but it occurred to me that I might use this strategy in order to grab the win with a different hero or package.

  • Watermark! That's the word I couldn't think of. Thanks!

  • Elven Archer won't work because you'd have a minion on the board. You need Skaterbot to run Mecha'thun into an enemy minion.

  • If I'm not mistaken, cards on this site used to appear with blank backgrounds behind the card text, and now they correctly show the set icons like the real cards do. I think this is a recent change, and if so, congrats to the crew for the update. Maybe a small thing, but I noticed and I think it improves the look and accuracy of cards.

  • Seconded. Swampqueen Hagatha can actually backfire with Shudderwock, as he will create a Drustvar Horror with random spells that might not be good choices, and if you've already created and played your own Drustvar Horror, Shudderwock will recast those spells at random targets, possibly disadvantageous.

  • Incorrect, playing it turn 3 means that there are already 4 minions, total. When you develop a minion or two to answer an early aggressive board, then your opponent drops Mogu Fleshshaperto punish you for it. That's the situation that feels bad. I am not calling for a nerf (see my previous post on this thread), but I get why this card is triggering.

  • I love cards like Hecklebot that have the potential to swing the game in your favor or totally screw you over. This deck looks pretty strong and fun. I really enjoy using the Quest in a variety of ways.

If your main win condition is fatigue, you should consider Archivist Elysiana. Barista Lynchen would obviously be good too, but maybe that's too greedy.

  • Looks fun. I notice you don't have any Uldum cards, so I thought I'd suggest a few that might fit:

Garden Gnome would most likely activate, and gives good board presence early on.

King Phaoris, like the gnome, has plenty to work with.

Khartut Defender is just an all around great card, especially against aggro.

Spitting Camel would be a solid choice. Now hear me out, I'm serious. No, I'm kidding, that card is trash.

I haven't played this deck yet, but I think I will. Then I might have better suggestions for what you could add, or what to remove.

  • Hot damn that was fun! Played Reno, took the damage HP, and the treasure that refreshes and discounts your HP every time you play an even-cost card. Just torched everything all day long. Beat the first 2 bosses on turn 3 with Mana Addict into Sorcerer's Apprentice then spells-go-nuts. Beat Murloc Golem on first try. Love this stuff!

  • I think a nerf or HOF for this card is overdue. It's not overly broken since it does require some setup and you have to combo it with Inner Fire, but unfortunately the setup is so easy sometimes, especially with how powerful resurrect effects are. Nerfing or HOFing Inner Fire isn't the answer because there is still Topsy Turvy and Crazed Alchemist.

HOF is probably what they'll do, since the logic continues to be "Wild has a greater pool of answers" although I won't comment on how valid that point is. I think a good nerf would be "Give a friendly minion +4 health" or +5 or +6, something like that.

  • I agree about legendaries not mattering unless they are central to the deck's purpose (like Undatakah) but I love the idea of those 2 guys. I do enjoy control decks in every class, and the possibilities of playing Thekal on 3, then healing to full for 30 health plus 29 armor is so enticing. Plus, I've heard you can play some broken turn 3 Molten Giant in wild, but I have yet to see this deck in action.
