Honestly, this deck  feels messy, because it has potential to stall against aggro, but it loses to it - I lost twice to Pirate Warrior where I thought I could manage them. I guess this deck is heavily reliant on card draw, and I feel that not even 2x Ancestral Knowledge serves me much favor. I tried to swap stuff around like removing Loatheb in favor of something like Azure Drake or that in favor of Feral Spirit. I even tried replacing one Ancestral Knowledge with Coldlight Oracle, but didn't manage to get it yet.

I'm concerned about this deck's identity. I need to think of a good taunt minion to stand against Aggro decks, because I think this should be the direction for my deck as anti-aggro. Maybe Stonehill Defender?

EVIL Recruiter (3): Without Lackeys, its just an average 3-drop. With Lackeys, this is a complete insanity. Definitely draft dependent, but can carry decks alone. Will be scary.

  • Kinda insane to be honest.

Did blizzard mess up on the schedule or did they?

Probably Blizzard, since they had it on the official site wrong. Doubt the Japanese site would just publicly blame Blizzard for their own fuck up.

I don't know how these things work behind the scenes, but due to the regular and relatively even cadence of reveals I assume that Blizzard are the ones that schedule when reveals should happen, not the individual revealers? With that in mind, a site like this (I don't know them, language barriers and all that) could conceivably have people checking their site all day for a reveal......... and oh, oops, sorry everyone it's actually tomorrow, you'll have to come and check our site all day AGAIN.

Maybe I'm cynical, but given the fairly obvious ad revenue bump the increase in traffic would cause, seems they would have a pretty good financial incentive, and since 'accidents happen', can try to avoid ongoing penalties from Blizzard. Unlikely we'll ever know, but I'd have to give benefit of the doubt to the organisation without the financial incentive to delay.

Blizz messed up reveals in the past, so thats why im not surprised that they would do it again. Also the site didnt seem to advertize "hey, we are revealing the card in 1 hour" and then nothing and only when ppl started calling them out tweet that "oh sorry, it is scheduled for tomorrow".

What i think happened is, they got the card, they got the time when to reveal it and then whoever made the official reveal schedule messed up that reveal by 1 days. Like you said, shit happens.

  • Yes, we know that is still missing. Definitely something that needs to be added and is on our to-do list ;-)

  • You will see this card most often in mage. Why mage? Khadgar + Conjurer's Calling = Profit :D Not that any mage will try for this specifically, but it will happen from time to time :)

Here is where those 1--1 cheapo's in your deck come in handy.

Not really. You dont want to kill your own minions to take less damage. Might as well play Illidan instead lol. This card is for tempo turns. Not sure if it will see play in constructed in Standard, but it should find its some in almost any WL deck in Wild, where you have more demon synergy and healing. Insane arena card too.

Got to 19 minutes.. heard some people got 11 minutes the APM is real.

Of course with dr. boom and hand of rafaam

I find that hard to believe, even if you are the best HS player, the best fast reader and have the quickest hands in the world, the time between the games sill on itself take several minutes and then the bosses take time playing out their turns, and 8 bosses, that will stack up. And if you are using Hand of Rafaam "tactic", the animations will slow it down too. You would have to be winning like on T3 vs every boss and maybe even that wont make 11 minutes. I call BS. Around 20 i can believe, 11 i do not.

Your faith is weak, sinti. I believe I once saw like 9 minutes in twitter, but my mind might be fooling me. I was able find a 13 minutes screenshot anyway, from China.

My personal record is 21 mins but that was with a bad mouse and sub-optimal treasures, I might go and try to get below 20 before the brawl ends.

But those 13 mins is with Rogue=Togwaggle ... that is a very different story than with Rafaam and question of this topic is "this weeks TB", so id assume we are talking about Rafaam only. If you get Bag of Coins with rogue every game, yes, you can get it down to some ridiculous fast runs.

Desert Obelisk (5): Unplayable card. You will never have 3 of these in arena. And if you by some miracle do, you already won anyway.

Riftcleaver (1): Wow. That is one insane card. Obliterate on a stick, literally. Demon tag matters too for bonus synergy. Just wow.

So I'm cool with it.  They know it could be an issue. They already looked into it.  They understand their stance and know they could be wrong. They are ready to fix it if they are wrong.

Just imagine if every gaming company had THAT last line of sentences as a main philosophy.

Yes, that would be indeed awesome. Tho dont get too hyped about their "policy", while they improved their behavior in the past year or so, they still have a long road ahead of them to show us that they are willing to do the hard changes on the fly and "in time".

Bazaar Mugger (1): Lots of value in this card. Removal and card advantage. Often it will be able to survive the trade and even if it didnt, you get an extra minion out of it. Wow.

  • Heh, to be honest, i didnt even notice it until now lol ... apparently, this is the picture in the background :) Lets see if Flux can give you some kind of answer why its there and if he would consider removing it or swapping it for something else.

  • This can work, sure ... but what is the point? You dont want to use your hero power as an aggro deck anyway lol, upgraded or not.

  • Quote From AbusingKel

Wild Bloodstinger - 1 - The downside is so minimal because of the high health stat. The chances are good that this trades at least 2 for 1 with the potential for more than that. Late game you could drop this without pulling something from your opponent's hand, completely negating the downside. There will certainly be times when RNGesus frowns upon you and pulls a poison minion but this monster will be well worth drafting.

I like we have kinda very different view of this card :) I guess i didnt count the top deck war scenario where it would be amazing, but the argument about trading 2 for 1 is what i dont consider a factor, cause technically you are trading for 2 cards, yes, but your opponent is not losing tempo for that, since he didnt have to spend mana playing that minion Bloodstinger summoned. Look at it this way, would we draft 6 mana 6/4 Battlecry: Discard a minion from your opponent's hand? Yes, probably. But the chance to summon something like Burly Shovelfist makes me worried and do i really want to test my luck?

I mean this is a card that only playtesting will tell us how good or bad it is. Looking forward testing it :)

I have a serious question - would there be a difference, if the Murmy had a Deathrattle: Summon a different 1/1 murloc? What's the benefit of giving this minion reborn in comparison to the aforementioned example?

[edit] I think I got my answer - reborn synergy cards. Sooo nvm. Cool and strong card, shame that Possessed Villager gets power creeped with every single expansion.

Obviously the flavor of the set and synergy. They made a new keyword, why create an extra token and do "boring" deathrattle, when they can make a Reborn minion :) And if you meant summon a 1/1 copy of a random murloc, that would be OP as hell for a 1-drop.

Also, about power creep over Possessed Villager, yes and no. Obviously Reborn is not deathrattle, those keywords have different synergy and saying one is better than other might not be true in every situation. On average, they are the same, in reality, they are different enough.

Scarlet Webweaver (2): A bit understated 6-drop, but very powerful effect, which could very well let you play another minion on the same turn. The only problem is, you have to have a beast in your hand, which might or might not be a problem. Even if you draft plenty of them, as a hunter, you generally go through your cards very fast, so this card might misfire sometimes. I still thing that it will be a very powerful play most of the time tho.

Wild Bloodstinger (3): Huge statline, but after the battlecry, you might not even be left with Boulderfist Ogre. It can deny some battlecries, but this is still way too RNG for my taste. You are not getting anything that amazing where the cost might be you put yourself into a worse position; or even lose the game outright. The card is playable, but just way too risky for my taste.

Hidden Oasis (1): Incredibly strong card thanks to its versatility. You can choose to play a good taunt minion, or you can heal. Premium stuff.
