Well the good news is that there aren't a whole lot of Druid spells that Cost 6 or more, so the odds that Druid can play this as a "free" 5/5 are a lot lower than they might otherwise have been. That being said, we know that Blizzard will eventually print more big spells for Druid, so I guess we gotta watch out.
So this is kind of an ass-backwards Umbral Owl. Instead of casting spells until you can play a cheap 4/4 with Rush, you play a cheap 4/4 with Rush and then cast spells to wake it up. Might could be good in slower Druid decks. It is a Naga, so that's something. Not sure what, but it's something.
I like him. You get two 3 Attack Rushers, and then they die to give you 4 3/1 bodies. And, if your opponent can't kill him, then you can potentially fill the board with 3/1 bodies. Maybe the 7 mana cost is a bit too expensive, but we have ways of working around that. Also, I can't wait to do some Dire Frenzy capital-S Stuff with this Beast.
So nice of them to replace Professor Slate with something that is probably not going to see a lot of play. It's just the tiniest bit inflexible, and a lot harder to justify putting in any deck, even Questline. We'll see, because it does have Naga and Raj synergies, but my guess is that it's just a little bit too clunky.
B-B-B-Big Beasts! Get some. I like weapons with Dredge, and oh boy is this exactly what it was that I just said. 'Poon it up, Rexxar. Get some big beasts to the top of your deck.
It's a Questline card, and now Hunter doesn't have to run Crushclaw Enforcer to tutor Raj (plus, they get a spell). Should be good. I can imagine any Raj Hunter deck putting in at least a copy of this.
Hey, it's a Mech Mage card! Blizzard has been pretty weird with their support for Mech Mage (no Snowchugger in Core? For shame, Blizzard!) this cycle, but at least they end the Voyage cards with what is honestly a pretty nice card for Mech synergy decks that just want to machine gun with Mecha-Shark. But I really don't see how this makes my no-Mechs Big Spell Mage deck better.
Just give these things Echo, it makes no sense. A very good cheap heal for your Face, and also for your minions. I'm not sure how much it sees play, but it might could make Control Paladin a thing. Remember, they did get some Dragons and Kazakusan exists.
Heh. It sounds like bubblebutt. It's like Enhance-o-Mechano, except it gives two buffs and it also doesn't try to waste anyone's time with windfury. Should be pretty good as a curve play for Mech Paladin, as if we needed more reasons to make sure we killed all of Paladin's minions.
This is like Purify if Purify was actually good (on a related note, why no Purify in Core, Blizz?). Should be strong with 4 Mana 7/7. It could even do work with the Hermit, since that combo is fairly cheap and could come down early enough to answer the board. I mean, it could make Silence Priest at least an OK deck.
Ah, there it is. The payoff for spell vomit Radiant Elemental Handmaiden Lyra Valishj degenerate Priest decks. The very large minion that they can play after playing a bunch of spells, drawing with Handmaiden, getting more mana with Valishj and playing more spells. What are the odds Priest can make a big one turn 5 or earlier? Good? Pretty good?
Good zero Cost spell for Spell Priest decks and, honestly, it might just be good in any Priest deck that runs a lot of spells. Just play it whenever. you want a 3 Cost Lightbomb? How about a 6 Cost Whirlpool? Seems pretty powerful, to me. Maybe Priest has enough stuff that they could make a Kazakusan deck. That's what all the kids are doing these days, right?
Hearthstone players: Hey Blizzard, we really hate mana cheat. It makes the game less fun and usually creates meta games where one or more nerfs are needed to bring gameplay to a more healthy level. Please don't do any more cards with ridiculous mana cheat, OK?
Yeah, OK, Blizzard we get that you want Pirate Rogue to be good. This is insane. A 4/3 Weapon for 3? And it Dredges, and buffs, a relevant minion? The only time it isn't good is if you somehow haven't filled your deck with enough Pirates. Why wouldn't you? Run every Pirate. Go next door, ask Warrior if you can borrow some of his Pirates. Just type in "Pirates" and keep clicking until it won't let you click any more.
Is very good. Works well with Sunken cards, but also with cards in general. However, unless you mean to tutor specific spells from the bottom of the deck, my guess is the pair of Tradeable cheap cards are good enough.
This is the less exciting of the two spells that I would want to play with Swiftscale Trickster, but at least it's got that going for it. Probably too expensive to play without the mana cheat of the Trickster.
So, this is fairly good with Field Contact. Mostly because Prize Plunderer and Pen Flinger are rotating out, but at least this could go face if it wanted to. Good for aggressive Pirate decks, as well. It's a decent 1-Drop, and it has Pirate synergies, so maybe it sees play?
Oh hi, Swarmer Shaman. Didn't see you there, at the bottom of the dumpster. Don't know why I'd think to look anywhere else, though. This probably isn't good enough to make Swarmers a good deck, but maybe it's good enough to see play in other, actually good, decks.
Yep, solid. Solid stuff. I, for one, am definitely going to try and make Murlock a thing (at least, as much as I'm able to). This by itself is OK, but maybe the snowball potential of all those buffs is just enough that this is the premiere 2-Drop fo Murlock.
I like this a lot. Super powerful for Murlock. Two 1/1s for 1 Mana, plus the ability to find a good murloc to draw next turn? Absolutely bonkers. Plays exceptionally well with Sunken Scavenger, to boot. If Murlock is a deck, it's off the back of this card.
