  • Alleycat reincarnated! Fantastic card for Hunter, has a beast tag and can be buffed. Will definitely see play.

  • Amazing card, though it could be redundant since DH already has such good card draw. Still, it can tutor a specific card, you can keep this in hand until you need to tutor Skull of Guldan or something

  • Ugh, just one of those fucking days when RNG keeps screwing me over. I'm playing Demon Hunter to grind for 500 wins (just 35 more), and I went 1-10 today. Jesus Christ. Here's some of the crazy shit that screwed me over:

I got a Highlander Paladin to 1 health, he plays Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, and guess what? He got Nozari. Lucky bastard

I get a Rogue down to 10 health, he plays Wondrous Wand that draws him Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Questing Adventurer, which he balloons up to an 11/11 with taunt from a lackey.

I get a Warrior down to 1 health and I'm just topdecking, and I still have several cards that could deal damage in my deck. All I need is one good draw. Instead, I draw shit while my opponent keeps draws consecutive Sword and Board and another Armorsmith that gives him 8 armor, and by the time I draw what I need he's out of lethal range. Goddammit

I hate this game sometimes, I feel like it chooses a day to just screw with you.

  • I find it really hard to rate this card. On its own it's a really nice weapon: a 1-mana weapon with 4 charges is no joke. I struggle to think of the type of deck you could use it most effectively though. I think this is great with deathrattles (Face Hunter would looooove this). A big demon deck for DH could make use of this too; getting free attacks from big minions before they can hit face is a fantastic outcome. This is also a good way to immediately cheat out a big demon from your hand using Fel Summoner--equip the weapon in the early turns, play Fel Summoner then kill it via trade, summoning a demon from your hand.

This doesn't look like a good early game tool for DH, since the class is all about tempo and board control and it makes no sense to just kill off their minions via trades, unless they get some face damage in first. The synergy with Ace Hunter Kreen is there, but it also means Kreen will attack too, which is a problem because he doesn't benefit from the immune he provides other minions.

  • I struggled to think of effective ways DHs and Hunters could utilize this card and was on the verge of calling it bad, until I remembered that Ace Hunter Kreen exists

  • Quote From Live4vrRdieTryn

Big Sham takes more skill than you would think. Anyway, look at both decks' win rates. Ok I win this argument.

But thanks for the laugh XD

I hate Quest Mage with every fiber of my being, but even I admit that it's a deck that requires a high degree of skill. I'm pretty sure it's very rewarding to play which is why it still thrives in Wild, so you saying that it's an auto-win deck even for brainless players is plain wrong.

Besides, you're clearly running on salt right now, so just head on over to the salt thread where you can complain to your heart's content.

  • Cool card, but you need a follow-up card to fully take advantage of it's board-clearing capability. It'll see play though.

  • Pretty interesting design, and I love that it's another big demon you can throw in a Big DH deck (which I've been trying to make work). That archetype still needs other support to work though, and I doubt this new demon will see play without some bonkers way to cheat it out. I don't think Raging Felscreamer, Fel Summoner, or Pit Commander are enough.

  • This is the craziest expansion yet. Most of the effects revealed so far have been so creative!

  • This will definitely see play, it's too powerful. Getting a dream curve of Marrowslicer on turn 4 then following up with this for a whopping 9 damage is fantastic. I think this might get nerfed to 6 mana if it's too effective, because let's face it, DH is just too efficient of a class right now, it's too well-designed.

  • Solid card, like most 1-mana 1/3 bodies are. Will definitely see play.

That 3D-looking art looks weird, though. Pretty creepy, even...

  • This is a fantastic card for Paladin with the Libram package. Playing even just one of Hand of A'dal and Libram of Wisdom in the early turns already makes this worth it.

I've always felt the Libram package in AoO was already a promising set that was just overshadowed and overwhelmed by the DH class. Here's to hoping they'll get more support this expansion, especially since I recently unpacked Lady Liadrin :P

  • Great card for both of those classes, but you need to put in as many cards with the Soul Fragment package to make this worth it. A lot of those destroy the soul fragments in your deck for added bonuses, so you're hoping you'll have enough in your deck to squeeze as much value out of Malicia's battlecry.

  • This is an excellent card all around. Any tempo deck would love a card like this.

Though I'm not sure if this will fill your hand with 5 cards even if this is the only card in your hand. Is that how it works? Or do you need at least 5 cards in hand since the text says "replace"? If it's the former, then this is great--refilling an empty hand in the mid-game is always good for tempo/aggro decks.

  • Thank you for the wonderful turn 3 gift, Transfer Student!

  • This feels like a nerf candidate in the future, I'm gonna hoard copies of these.

Even Shaman will love this in Wild, and it's yet another spell that could enable some crazy Kael'thas Sunstrider combos.

  • Kind of similar to The Glass Knight albeit a more limited effect, but Goody Two-Shields is still better especially with numerous cheap spells that Paladin has right now. Hitting this with a discounted Libram is already good, and you can put two of them in your deck.

Card art is great too, love the youthful expression on the young paladin's face.

  • I had back-to-back early Baku the Mooneater turns last night.

First matchup, my Priest opponent plays Dirty Rat on turn 2, pulling Baku from my hand. Thanks for the 2-mana 7/8, man!

Second matchup, another Priest opponent plays Deathlord on turn 2, I kill it next turn and pulls Baku from my deck. Thanks for the 3-mana 7/8, dude!

  • I took a loooong break from this game so my race to a golden DH portrait got halted. I'm at 402 wins with the class right now. I'll try to get in as many wins as I can before the new round of nerfs hit it on July 14.

Odd DH in Wild is gonna take a big hit with the Warglaives of Azzinoth nerf. I'm thinking of re-tooling the deck to be more mid-rangey (Priestess of Fury build), but let's see. The archetype didn't really suffer when it lost Altruis the Outcast and Skull of Gul'dan, so it might survive this new nerf.

  • I think Blizzard really should cut down on having 0-mana cards/effects. A lot of recently nerfed cards had these 0-mana discounts, and they were a bit unhealthy for the game and led to some pretty oppressive/annoying archetypes. Just look at this list:

Dragonqueen Alexstrasza - Summoning three gigantic dragons in one turn is such a huge swing; nerfing its effect to 1 mana is fair (Highlander decks can still use her)

    Eye Beam - 0-mana heal 3? Disgusting

Galakrond, the Nightmare - Drawing 4 mana-less cards in a class that loves combos has always been insane, no wonder Galakrond Rogue dominated the previous meta

Dragoncaster - Allowing players to cast a 0-cost Puzzle Box of Yogg'saron will always piss off either player, it's such a roll of the dice

Twin Slice - Excellent DH tool that cost NO MANA until it was nerfed (sideways nerf though)

Even some of the Druid cards that cost (0) when you have 7+ mana crystals seem bound to be oppressive in the future. Just lessen 0-mana effects for the next expansion, that's my only wish. It just invites crazy gameplay that will make people tilt often.
