Others have mentioned it already. Dragonqueen got nerfed for pulling 2 zero cost, random dragons. This will fill your hand with 0 cost corrupt cards. The big question I have is how will the Corrupt trigger on those zero cost cards? If you play a 1 cost card, will all zero cost cards activate?
Easy pick to require a nerf.
ALEX WASNT 1 TURN ONLY. IT COULD GENERATE ITSELF FOR MORE AND MORE FREE DRAGONS.
I don't know if you forgot this, but Dragonqueen Alexstrasza can no longer generate herself from her battlecry. That was the first nerf to her.
And I don't agree with Y'Shaarj, the Defiler being overrated, it's obviously a powerful late-game bomb. Of course, it depends on the corrupt cards we'll be getting this expansion, but based on the ones revealed, most of them are solid and would be slotted into decks. I think more neutral corrupt cards will be revealed too. And unlike Alexstrasza's effect that only adds random dragons (you might get some useless ones), Y'Shaarj regenerates cards that you actually put in your deck that you can play in their corrupted versions in one swingy turn, so there's a bit more control in what you'll be getting.
I get the concerns that this might be too slow since you need to corrupt the cards in order to maximize the effect, but the classes that will most likely play this (Warlock, Paladin, maybe Demon Hunter) would benefit from having another late-game bomb to throw at opponents.
This is basically Time Out! for Rogues, only slightly worse because you can still get hit by a random spell.
That said, this is a perfect stall and combo card, should Rogue ever get a combo deck. The biggest problem with the class is its survivability, so this will definitely help in that regard.
Not a good card, will most likely be played in meme decks. This could be used as a late-game play though, but sacrificing your board of murlocs is a disaster for a murloc deck. Besides, generating random legendaries isn't as good as it sounds.
Tutors are always nice so this might see play, especially if Shaman gets a really bonkers weapon in the future. So far the good weapon targets this can get are The Fist of Ra-den, Rune Dagger (should Spell Damage Shaman ever take off), Doomhammer, and the new weapon that was just revealed.
I'm liking this new archetype that's being pushed for Shaman, reminds me of the Enhancement Shaman builds in WoW. I hope this archetype takes off.
This strikes me as both a build-around card and something that you can just slot into any midrange/aggro Shaman deck. This is a must-kill for your opponent, so having a weapon equipped then attacking with this on board is a potentially powerful play. Shaman has some good weapons like the evolving one, but I think it needs more for Inara Stormcrash to be fully taken advantage of. But even having the 5-attack weapon from Galakrond could potentially deal 14 damage if Inara's on the board.
My only gripe about this card is the art...reminds me too much of the horrible Dragonslayer art back in KnC. It's most likely the same artist.
Great card that will definitely see play in any slow Warlock deck. You always want to play the Corrupted version of this since it's not that hard to trigger anyway; latest you can play this is on turn 8, which isn't bad considering you're getting an 8/8 demon that shaves off 5 cards from your opponent's deck, all for 6 mana. Not to mention you can get a 0-mana copy of this from Y'Shaarj the Defiler.
One of the best cards in the set, I think. This will be incredibly annoying to play against.
THis has a LOT of potential. Late game, when a 4/3 may not be as beneficial, having turn into a weapon could be really awesome. On the other hand, if you get a really crap weapon, then it's less then thrilling.
That's what I was thinking. It's a versatile card that could be useful in both early game as a minion, and late game when you can deal 4 damage on the same turn when it's a weapon and you're looking for that final push. That said, this is crap to play at 3 mana, it basically does nothing as a minion.
Solid card for Totem Shaman. Copying this with Totemic Reflection could be a major headache for opponents. The effect isn't that overpowered because it's not a blanket effect for the rest of the game, but having this survive for one turn and give all totems you have with +1/+1 will be huge nonetheless.
It's a late game hand refill for a secret tempo Mage. Not too exciting, but hey, drawing cards is always good. I think this will only be worth playing if you can draw 3+ cards with it, otherwise it's pretty lackluster.
This is an incredibly versatile card. I could see it becoming a Rogue staple for the future, no matter what the deck is. The combos you can pull off with this could be fun.
Very solid card. It basically lets you cast two secrets for free while giving you 2 attack for 2 charges. I don't see why Hunters won't play this, though it's not "wow" enough that it won't surprise me if it doesn't make the meta.
A Paladin minion with a demon tag? I've seen it all...
The effect is good since Divine Shields are annoying to deal with, and this will definitely be a must-include in a Silver Hand Paladin deck (dunno if there's space for it in Odd Paladin though). Strikes me as a win-more card though, reminds me of Dark Pharaoh Tekhan.
I don't think this fits any tempo-based DH deck since it seems too slow. It could be a great tool for a control deck (like a Big Demons deck or something), which I would love to try.
Another strong card for DH. Gaining 6 attack is incredibly easy for DHs; just play three Twin Slice on turn 4 and you can already play Bladed Lady. Actually, this will be a great tempo play at any point in the game, where you gain 6 attack for your hero then drop a 6/6 body WITH rush. Pretty good.
A slower, conditional Zilliax. It's not a bad comparison considering Zilliax was probably the perfect card the game has ever seen. Gonna be an excellent utility tool for Pure Paladins.
This is gonna be hard-countered by Bomb Warrior though, assuming it's still a meta deck by the next expansion. An 8-mana do-nothing 7/5 will be horrible.

Priests will love this, especially since the class is mostly just control archetypes right now and use lots of spells. Will definitely see play.

This is insane. The randomness makes it inconsistent, but this will surely be a fun card.

Man, Secret Mage is gonna be even more frustrating to play against in Wild with all of these new tools.
Love the kawaii Jaina and sorcerer's apprentice in the accompanying manga for this card :">
