Another Wild week is behind us as we were not only treated with the long-awaited card reveal schedule but also informed about some extra spicy nerf reverts that should be of interest to the Wild playerbase. But that's all future talk, let's look at what kind of decks our community members are playing here and now.
Pure Paladin
Swizard spoiled us with three different takes on Paladins revolving around Immortal Prelate this week. Believe it or not, they all include plenty of buffs, Lady Liadrin, and Lynessa Sunsorrow.
Mill Rogue
Rogues are getting increasingly harder to target with their Evasions and Cloaks of Shadows, and Yadeehoo decided to use it to his advantage with this Mill Rogue.
Spiteful Quest Shaman
I have to admit that I don't recall having played against a Spiteful Shaman ever. This list from darkloadfoamy comes with a Quest Shaman core to create some truly tempo-swinging Spiteful Summoner turns.

ETC OTK Warrior
Dorkpork doesn't seem to be missing the old days of Patron Warrior, but instead embraces the relative ease of ETC OTK. Who needs Charge anyway when you have Rush.
Quest Rogue
Tomorrow's meta today? Sparkinarius seems somewhat convinced that the double-revert to The Caverns Below will see the Quest menace rise again stronger than ever. Better start learning how to play it.

I love Lynessa Sunsorrow. One of my favorites. Been messing with that card since it came out. Using it in every kind of Paladin deck I could. One of my favorites was the dragon version using Dragonkin Sorcerer and Sound the Bells!. Always surprises people. It's great to see I'm not the only one using it. Gotta get Lady Liadrin though.
I took the Pure Prelate list for a spin last night - only had time for one game but it was a wild one (pun possibly intended)! I didn't have all the cards, so I took it in a more Libram oriented direction. I built a huge Lynessa at the endgame (it works as advertised in the deck guide!), but all my prelates got silenced or transformed by my opponent who was an elemental/Reno mage who kept discovering devolving missiles thanks to some "created by" shenanigans. In the end they Brann Bronzebearded out multiple Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk and Ragnaros the Firelord and eventually the fireballs went face.
Will definitely play some more.
I played the reno version in the mmr of high platinum and low diamond for 40 games, and went 32-8 and even won against tons of tier 1 decks so I think the reno version is actually pretty good. I am curious about libram pure prelate paladin, it definitely seems fun to play but I am interested in how it does competitively for you.
I'm looking for inspiration or suggestion for a wild demon hunter's list, anyone ?
This deck by Roffle is by far my favorite DH deck. It's double Yogg for double the shenanigans!
Is the win condition Yogg, or does the deck have other strengths?
It's all Yogg. The goal is to reduce either New Yogg or Brann with Skull of Guldan. Then Blur into Brann/New Yogg and pray for a Rod of Roasting to finish your opponent. I should've clarified, entirely a meme/highroll deck.
It's not original, but I think Odd Demon hunter is arguably the most competitive DH archetype in Wild currently. It's a low-curve list that typically tops out at Leeroy or maybe the three drop that draws a card and gives you 4 attack if you play the drawn card. I haven't played this deck much recently at all.
For fun(!) I recently have been playing a variant of WowHobbs' (streamer) DH list. I found it on D0nkey (website that gathers streamers' decks). I don't have all the cards he uses, but it's sort of a "Big"/memes archetype. His list emphasizes end of turn mechanics with the big DH demons and disruption cards like Glide and Lorewalker Cho. It lacks survivability and gets steamrolled by most meta Wild aggro decks and many meta Wild control decks, too. The deck is classic Hobbs, so it's just for fun - and when you manage to steal a win it feels excellent. Fun for meming at a rank floor (I am hard stuck in the Diamond 4-5 range with this sort of deck), but not great for grinding DH wins if that's your goal.
Hope these are helpful.
I love that I’m not the only one who immediately thought of Umbra + Recurring Villain with that Rogue Quest! I may actually craft it again just to try that list or one similar to it once the patch drops.
Or maybe right now. It already works as is I guess.
This is extreme jank, but with the new Overlord Runthak, it's technically possible to handbuff Recurring Villain then play it with Spiritsinger Umbra to instantly complete the quest. This combo is actually just playable with any class, now that i think about it.
I like the idea, but it wouldn't auto-complete because the Villain doesn't resummon with buffs. So the summoned version would be 3/6 and wouldn't summon anymore after that.
