United in Stormwind Live Recap

United in Stormwind is Hearthstone's next expansion.
The Fire Festival returns next week.
Battlegrounds is getting cosmetic heroes including Millhouse.
Battlegrounds is getting an overhaul in a future patch which replaces old cards with new ones to better flesh out tribe identities.
We're getting new minions and tribes are getting more fleshed out.
Tradeable is a new Keyword:
- Cards with the new Tradeable keyword can be played like normal, or for the low cost of 1 Mana, swapped with a different card in your deck!
Questlines
- An adventure is only as good as the quests you take along the way. All 10 classes will have access to a Questline that highlights the journey of their class’s Mercenary through Stormwind. Questlines are Legendary spells that start in your hand and have three tiers of progression. Get a reward after you complete each step of the Questline, culminating in a powerful Legendary mercenary minion!
Mounts & Professions
- You’ve grown a lot in the Barrens, and it’s time to level up! Pick up a mount to aid you in battle—and even keep fighting after you’re gone! Or maybe you can learn a new skill while you’re in town. Profession tools are weapons that have special effects instead of attack values. Gather the crafting reagents to get an awesome effect!

Dont get me wrong - I think the flavour of the expansion is very similiar to other expansions like Rise of the Shadows, Street of Gadtgean and Darkmoon Faire and i am not so excited. In all these expansion a "City" has a important role with dudes how sell things. I've never played WoW, perhaps thats the problem

So, combo decks will fill their decks with Tradeable cards so that they can find their combo faster by trading all the non-combo pieces?
Does trading a card count as shuffling a card into your deck for [Hearthstone Card (Augmented Elek) Not Found]?
Does it count as playing a card for triggering Combo effects or for Edwin VanCleef, Questing Adventurer, etc.?
Does it count as drawing a card for "when you draw"... effects?
Will it trigger "Cast when drawn" effects?

Does anyone know if the Tradeable mechanic is a one time effect? Or continuous and can be used multiple times on the same card

would have to be continuous considering that the card gets shuffled into the deck and thus would be reset to base value

What a shame, I'm excited about expansion, but pre-purchase hero... I think it's the worst one among all bundles we ever had.

Tradable cards are incredibly interesting because that's basically providing every class with an optional draw engine. It might be possible to simply put it in your deck just to draw cards. For that reason at some point of time this mechanic will likely at some point prove way too powerful. Wonder what team5 have designed themselves into? Its either we don't see that many tradable cards introduced, or the cards with tradeable would be much too powerful to trade out.
Very interested to find out more about the questlines. And also to see what cards team5 may have designed just to slow the game down or otherwise no one would be playing the quests. Mage's quest looks very powerful, but very likely you'll just die to aggro before you ever get to take full advantage of it. It does concern me slightly that that mage quest fits too nicely into spell mage.
Well, we got the prerequisite reveals of the upcoming expansion. Please for the love of god blizz, show the reveals earlier this time and not cram everything into one week again.

Succinctly to the point actually.
Could've been great; her eyes could be glowing to show her sinister nature, partly transformed to show her heritage, or just straight out as a dragon. But blizz decided for the 'Coming out of a hair salon' look instead.

Too early for me to be hyped.
Kinda bummed about the Pre-order heroes for the new bundles, it looks like Rogue will never get another established character portrait.
