Weekend's here again so it's time for our weekly Wild post. Let's take a look what our community members have come up with this time.
OFF-TOPIC REMINDER: Don't forget that Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend, my fellow Europeans!
Odd Rogue
If you're looking for something truly tried and tested, Horus has a deck for you. After well over 400 matches he's still able to brag with a 70% winrate.
Tempo Mage
The newer Mage Quest has found a home in Lambda's Tempo Mage, where running out of spells quite often means running out of win conditions. Not anymore! This deck can also currently be used in Standard.
Fatigue Warrior
If you're not afraid of long matches, this deck from dogScraw might be the one for you. Armed with a lot of removal and two copies of Dead Man's Hand, your opponent shouldn't be winning any time soon. And if all else fails, there's always Yogg.
Hand Druid
There will be some high Health minions with this deck that feeds on your hand size. Early Mountain Giants and Twilight Drakes are accompanied by Faceless Ragers and Bewitched Guardians in ryuwarrior12's off-meta list.
Highlander Quest Mage
The fact that Secret Mages are doing well is no news, but you can do the trick with Quest Mage as well, like this #1 Legend list from China proves.

Personally, i'm progressively growing sick of Wild.
Secret Mage, Snipsnaplock and Mech Pally are sheer cancer, as they are essentially all Burn decks, and top tier.
No healthy meta has so many Burn decks on the very top of the tiers.
Even worse for Warlock, which is further internally cancerized: playing any Warlock that is not Snipsnap is straight out stupid or masochistic (at least Mage has Reno and Pally has Odd).
I guess this is the beginning of the end for RavenSunHS...
In MTG, there is a format (I don't remember what it is called) where you are able to play every card ever printed in Magic. Nothing is banned, but there are some restricted cards (you can only have 1 copy in oppose to 4). Usually, games are decided during the mulligan. There are so many combos that can win you the game on turn 1-3, and there are a ton of broken synergies and infinite combos. This is the result of 26 years worth of cards, and the player gets to chose the 36 best cards ever printed, add 24 lands, and still lose because his turn 5 infinite combo was too slow.
This is just where all eternal formats are bound to end up sooner or later and there really isn't anything you can do about it. I think Hearthstone does have some time to go before it ends up like this, but it is getting there.
As unfortunate as it is, and as much as I hate to say it myself, growing sick of Wild is only normal given the destination of this game mode. Right of the bat, when it was first introduced, it became the HearthStone equivalent of a dumpster. As it piles up - expansion after expansion ; broken synergies after wackier combos - it becomes harder to make any sensible management of said waste ... I'm afraid that unless they do something about it, on the long run, we are running straight to a point of unplayability...
The situation, this "unplayability", is caused by poor design choices. On MtG even the more extended formats still have some balance (more or less).
This.
If they stopped designing broken cards (Plague of Flames, Crystology, [Hearthstone Card (arcane mysteries) Not Found]) upon old flawed cards (Mechwarper), upon stupid cards (Arcane Flakmage), or at least if they regularly fixed these flaws, Wild would be much more pleasant and enjoyable on the long run, while still including some OP decks (which is inevitable).
If Wild turns into an increasingly rotten dumpster, i will simply stop playing, as i have no interest in Standard.
Wild is (could be) cool because it has all the cards: if the vast majority of cards are practically excluded by the brokenness of few, then it's just a broken version of Standard, restricted by brokenness instead of rotations...
I appreciate the showcase, thank you for that ; I may get ahead with some of those achievements ^^
If anyone is looking for a quick way to ladder up before season is over, you won't be disappointed with that list.
Thank you for this. Gives me some new ideas.
