Cheap handbuffs are really good, and this synergizes well with basically any frenzy minion or rush minion, and really shines with Mor'shan Elite and Blademaster Samuro (not to mention that it makes Rokara way more likely to rack up buffs)
It's worse than Smuggler's Run until T5. And even that didn't see play.
Nice one
Incoming handbuff warrior
Can't say I like it too much. Its just giving away 2 mana, so if you're even on board its just unplayable. If you're ahead, then the best thing to do is to play more minions to solidify, not play this card and praying to get another free turn.
Besides which, this card is just bad on rank 1, and will only truly shine upgraded to rank 2. Can warrior keep a hand full of minions to take advantage of it on turn 5? That remains to be seen.
Kind of odd. I personally prefer early game handbuffs. Towards the end tempo is not that useful
5 stars for the card art, but I doubt rank 3 will be impactful since by turn 10 your hand is most likely quite small.
Cheap handbuff back in standard, nice.
At this point I have spent too much money on these games to quit.
Now pass me another pack, and lets see what I pull.
The art is just wonderful. The cards that we have and the new frenzy mechanic we could see a tempo frenzy warrior deck.Warrior looks like a lot of fun this expansion with these cards .
It's cheap, but in Hs handbuff doesn't work well. The rank 2 and rank 3 are strong for the mana, but how many minions will we have at turn 5 and 10? Without Battle Rage i don't know how it's possible for an aggressive deck using this card in mid or late game
I really want this to be a thing but I'm hesitant.
At the very least at 10 mana it can allow for some pretty nasty boards, but after the cut so much draw from Warrior I'm not sure that's a possibility.
I feel like this is best used at turn 5 to buff some 3-drop to play alongside and then hopefully have enough fuel in hand to go from there.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
It's a bit slow for sure, but maybe it'll find a home in some decks. Potentially some sort of OTK combo that really wants more stats?
Why warrior, why not Paladin???
-=alfi=-
Rank 1 is good, rank 2 ir really good, rank 3 is insanely good.
Given warrior can go control easily this will rank nice and steady through the game and end up being a +3/+3 most of the time.
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Good card
Kenny's little poet. 😇
Rank 2 is good, 3 too but not sure to still have a lot of minions at turn 10. Good card during a few turns, it will situational.
Murlocs <3
Decent, if you have a big hand this will be a really strong play when upgraded. But handbuff is handbuff, a little too slow and unreliable.
Maybe good with the new 5 mana taunt that copies itself
Like all the ranked spells, this needs time to pay off. If you have to play it early, it's just ok. In a drawn-out control match, this could provide the stats boost you need to outvalue your opponent. Thanks about how nasty Carnival Clown is right now in Druid after playing Survival of the Fittest. Now Warrior can do that too.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
As with most "ranked" spells, the first two iterations are the most interesting and impactful.
even rank 1 is very powerful
Will handbuff warrior finally be a thing?? Quite exciting
not sure handbuff works well at hinger mana
Handbuffing is typically weak, because you can’t afford the tempo loss for a later gain. But 2 mana isn’t that much of a loss. I think this one will actually work out.
I doubt handbuff warrior is going to take off, mediocre card.
Buffy the Vampire Warrior. Get it?
Rogue DH
Rush/Aggro probably wants this late so their little rush guys can be big rush guys. I played that a lot, and from time to time one gets a hand full of the "Here for a good time, not a long time" guys, and this buffs them way up. It's a minion heavy deck, so there's always something to hit. Work the card in whenever you'd armor up anyway. Just spit balling here....
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
Not bad, at all ranks. Can see play in most Warrior decks.
Hmmm definitely more control style of card. And luckily warrior is receiving more taunts this expansion to make this card work. Comparing it to the other ranked spells though, this one has to be the worst one.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Do not think rank one will see play... But 2 and 3 yea
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
It looks good on paper with Mor'shan Elite and Blademaster Samuro etc but you need to draw these cards together and pay 2 mana to do nothing. The question is how many specific minions you need to buff to make it worth it?
Alright so i'm probably not the only one seeing this and thinking "ugh handbuff Warrior again? It never works." right? Handbuffing is only good in 1 deck, and that's in Wild in Handbuff Paladin. That's it.
That being said it does have a bit of potential. It MIGHT be good in control warrior though. A strong card to buff with this are taunts that copy themself like Mor'shan Elite and rush minions, which warrior has a lot of! Blademaster Samuro is also a good target. But the most juicy target for this buff is for Carnival Clown, BUT warrior does need a 10 cost card in order to corrupt it. And warrior doesn't like playing Scrapyard Colossus, Darkmoon Rabbit or an old god in their decks. (Well Big warrior likes Scrapyard Colossus, but that's because they cheat em out for 7 mana.)
Another problem for this card is that warrior is losing A LOT of draw (Because of Battle Rage and Shield Block are rotating), and warrior already lacked draw. And guess what warrior needs in order to get a lot of value and buff a lot of minions with [Hearthstone Card (Physical Training (rank 1)) Not Found]? Oh wait draw. I beleave Iksarr said in a AMA that classes that lacked draw will get some draw options, but untill we see those draw cards i don't think [Hearthstone Card (Physical Training (rank 1)) Not Found] will be a card that will at most see occasional play/experimentation. But once warrior has plenty of draw, i think [Hearthstone Card (Physical Training (rank 1)) Not Found] will be a lot better!
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Maybe we're getting good handbuff cards! After Feat of Strength came out, I had hope for handbuff archetypes again.
4 Mana 7/7
warrior kinda lacks card draw now. and besides, handbuff is not good after early turns, so I think this wont be played.
It pays for itself once you have 3 or maybe re minions or once you get to rank two, but hand buffing has historical been too weak to see play. This might finally break the curse or end up being the dud of the set
Nice I was looking through the comments to see what cards we had that generated minions in had but this is a solid strategy as well
It's mostly useful in early game, but +1+1 is just too weak as a handbuff in early games...two star card.
I don't know... such hand buff cards usually don't work too well
I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And even though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius
how will i have any number of significant minions at hand at 10 mana?
Cheap handbuff, but probably not the ideal topdeck late game.
Buff buff buff, is that really the way to play HS and win
I'm not online it's just your imagination
Ah, Handbuff. How you've tried. How few have succeeded and most have failed. I don't particularly see this one being any different. I don't believe Into the Fray was ever good, and that was cheaper and gave a bigger buff, although granted only to Taunt minions.
I don't see this card being played, even with the new warrior card that summons a copy of itself. Hand buff is slow(the exception being hand buff paladin in wild) and can set you far behind the opponent.
Handbuff is always slow, I'm skeptical. Maybe Warrior can use this card on an AoE turn. They would use their hero power for 2 mana on that turn, instead they can play this and start playing buffed minions next turn.
OBLIVION!
It's a buff expansion. So this will find his spot in some deck
it will not see play in competitive deck. Too poor/ slow
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Slow, but warrior can play slow, so can see play.
By The Holy Light!
The card would be insane in other classes, but in Warrior I'm not so sure..
No it's not, and yes it did see play.
Warrior minions befenit a lot more from handbuffs than paladin minions.
Handbuff Warrior? Not really interested.

Hand-buff for warriors! Sure control warrior will be back in all its glory!
This could be good with buffing taunts I think this will see some play.
Too slow to make an impact, too good to not see play anyway. I guess Tempo Warrior won't use it, Control neither... Buff archetype incoming tho
Base version is a worse Smuggler's Run, first upgraded version is a worse Glowstone Technician. Final upgraded version is too late. Not playable.
I don't think this is very good. If you want this to be good you need to delay playing it, and if you want it to be good you also want to keep minions in hand. So this is basically asking you to just sit there for a while. If you are playing your minions you are likely not going to have a huge collection of targets for this when its bigger, and if you are playing this early on to buff your minions then its likely not very impactful.
There are a lot more payoffs for hand-buff now than there were back in the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan days. Any minion with Frenzy or Rush (or both) is going to benefit immensely from something like this. I can see it being played in both midrange and control.
It's obviously super bad in the early game, but later this could be super sick.
True of most 1-, 2-, or 3-Cost minions. Should we just stop putting those in our decks?
Seems like one of the weakest Ranked spells. Maybe there'll be some common stat breakpoints that this can push your minions over.
I love handbuff. However it doesn't usually do well. Warrior does however have good control tools and this at 10 mana is great for the cost. But I don't see a combo other than clowns right now. Maybe in the future.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
I like this for Wild, but not sure how it's going to work with Standard. I feel like there needs to be a stronger presence with Taunt.. I was playing a taunt warrior that FunkyMonky put out and I liked it a lot. This could be a good replacement for Armagedillo but not sure how viable it will remain
I wish this was a Paladin card :(
I think there will need to be more support for handbuff before this is seriously considered, the incentive just isn't there for how long you need to wait for this to become good. Many of the other ranked spells are ok or even decent at their lowest point, but this is far too slow.
Will Handbuffs ever work? This might be the card that lets us know. It has always been so hard to pull off. I don't have high hopes this time around.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Excellent tool for control warrior with a lot of minions in hand
Limited to hand-buff. Don't see the need for it in Warrior.
Eh, I don't see warrior really wanting handbuffs that bad.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I think this is one of the better ranked spells.
hard to tell whether it'll be good.
Taunt potential at least.
Looks so bad, wow. I mean, I know there's synergy and there are other handbuffs, too, but it's just so ineffective.
Nah
Nice
This looks pretty good even at rank 1. At 3, it's just insane, assuming you have a hand to buff at that point.
not bad
Control warrior might like this
Handbuffs will never work outside Paladin, unless they force it harder in expansions to come.
I'm not convinced. Looks very slow and underwhelming, but then again, Warrior is a class that can play very slow.
Arena > Wild > Standard
I take it you haven't played much Wild when Mech Paladin was a thing
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Interesting handbuff, but VERY slow - don't think it'll see as much play
dont like but warrior is seeing lots of handbuffs, lets see what will happen
Too slow
Cheap Handbuff so it could work pretty well with some of the New Cards like Samuro.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
useless, way too slow
useless, way too slow
good
Push-Ups Warrior (as Flux has commanded it be called) looks fun, but not good. Handbuffs have never really been that powerful in most metas, and I don't think the coming one will be any exception.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
hand buff that's not completely useless when you draw it late game
Hand buffs are normally not great.
Ribbit
I am really torn on this one. On the one hand this looks pretty nice and strong in the right deck, on the other hand handbuff in the past has often turned out to be somewhat lackluster
English is not my native language, so please excuse occasional mistakes
Nice art
Actually, it's run in Mech Handbuff Paladin, a deck that's often tier 1 / tier 2 in wild.
Nice one, handbuff warior after expansion in game
I mean until turn 5 this is pretty worthless.
Looks strong but not insane. Not sure if it'll see play or not
Rank 1 is bad.
Rank 2 is decent, but not game changing. You'd rather spend that turn sending out Mor'shan Elite, for example.
Rank 3 is too late to be impactful.
Overall not a great card.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I think this is absolute garbage, only fringe use is +3+3 on Clown.
Could be good, always like hand buff
I love the idea of hand buff, but I also usually end up frustrated and disappointed by how it performs. Its often just too slow and unreliable.
We saw this card in Paladin and I believe it didn't see a lot of play. This gets better with more mana, but more mana means less cards in hand, which makes it worse too
At rank 1 it feels pretty low power level and I doubt you'll have too many minions in your hand by the time it upgrades to rank 3. At rank 2 it's fine but I still doubt you go through the trouble of putting it in your deck at that point.
This made me sweat just watching it
For The HORDE!
I really like buff cards. Will work well off of frenzy cards.
Stop trying to trick me into playing handbuff decks! They're never good!
...I'm gonna try and make this work somewhere, amn't I?
Welcome to the site!
cheap, but too slow
More hand buff support. I liked the concept well enough back in Gadgetzan, even if it ended up being the weakest faction. Hopefully they've learned their lesson about revealing which cards in your hand get buffed.
Meme card. Hand buff warrior did not get anywhere, reallly.
I just think this card is too slow both to scale and to realize the buffs. Playing this at rank one means you aren't buffing a many minions, and waiting until later ranks means that the slightly scaled up buffs aren't even that impactful later in the game. I just don't see an ideal use case for Conditioning (Rank 1).
For glory, honor, and gold!
