They already had the assets for this, and releasing it to the shop was always the plan. Remember the contest? They didn't just whip up the diamond Vanndar after they determined the winner. They had both cards ready to go before the battle even began.
The mystery node just gets more and more useless. You might want to gamble for a portal, but if you're like me, the chance of rolling spud is just not worth it. I hate that thing.
They should either add a MUCH wider variety of events or just remove the whole thing from the game.
Ha, oddly enough, either Scabbs will do the trick. Either way, control isn't in a coffin, and it never will be. People just have trouble recognizing control if it doesn't involve fatigue.
This will be one of those decks you might try and try and wish it were better, but then you lose all your stars and decide to go have some ice cream instead.
Hunter has no problem filling the low end of its deck with spells (especially with Animal Companion back in Standard), so this is a guaranteed powerhouse. Get ready to see some turn 5 Hydralodon action!
You must mean Scabbs Cutterbutter. But no one has actually complained about Tickatus recently, and it never got nerfed. That means Team 5 must think it is reasonable. Also a three-card combo involving two legendaries is harder to pull off than a corrupted Tickatus.
In before certain people storm in here shouting about how these were supposed to be "exclusive" and it's utter bullshit that the achievement will be available after the stated expiration date.
Of all the diamond cards ever made, only Varian and Ragnaros are massively significant to WoW lore, and diamond Ragnaros was never even Standard. It seems to me that they tend to choose the diamond candidates based on the flavor and mechanics of the Hearthstone expansion.
Having a "big name" in WoW has nothing to do with it unless the character just coincidentally happens to be used for some concept that's important to Hearthstone.
Maybe, but you have to consider the human cost if you're actually, you know, playing Gwent.

I don't think it ever was or ever will be the design intent to guarantee a safe route through the whole map.

OMG I cannot believe I walked into that.
Hey, all you f2p people, Mech Mage is officially a safe craft.

Is it really a sleeper if everyone can see it's obviously strong? Dormant + Rush has always been a powerful combination.
Pretty sure it's supposed to replace Celestial Alignment (which was never that good anyway), not have synergy with it. I'm just very glad Guardian Animals and Survival of the Fittest are both leaving.
Haha, kind of like salt in Shaman's wound as Stormstrike rotates out.
*Whines* Mooooooom, where's the new Core section?!
Hate to burst your bubble, naysayers, but this card is going to figure prominently into a Burst DH build that will be viable at the very least.
It's Fel on top of being just an excellent card already. This feels like a Demon Hunter auto-include.
Silence Priest, never give up! One day, you'll be a real archetype!
But honestly, this card is perfect against freeze.

My only comment is that I'd love to see Platebreaker in the Core set.
