    the stupidest brawl partner

for instance ... I had two 12/12 minions and two 8/8 minions ... instead to finish the party to allow me to keep these big guys to destroy the pinata my "opponent" continued to play low cost minions ...

    fixed that for ya

The theme is fun, but right off the bat I find it problematic that the hero power creates tokens with a tribal tag. That's going to create scads of balance issues and design-space headaches down the line. The same holds true for heavy Mech synergies in the class cards.

I've actually been having a lot of fun in Standard since the balance patch. I climbed to Diamond faster than ever on New Year's Day because I was enjoying myself and just kept playing. (Normally, I'm out after I earn the card back, if I even go that far.)

Sorry to hear Wild still sucks, but to me it's a little weird to put all your eggs in the basket that isn't making any money for the company.

They shut down the whole office between Christmas and New Year's.

Even when they do get back to work, I'd rather see more balance changes before they worry about fixing achievement bugs.

January 11 is when they stop counting. The questline remains in place until rotation, and you will receive the golden opposing leader if you reach the top honor rank before then.

The golden version is NOT guaranteed. You have to earn enough honor to finish the legendary questline.

The diamond version IS guaranteed, but it will not necessarily be the one you want. It will be a diamond version of the leader of the faction that collects the most honor by January 11. (Drek'thar if Horde wins; Vanndar if Alliance wins.)

You will not be able to disenchant the golden one.

You can use the one you have for now, as long as you remember to disenchant it before January 11.

Because hypocrisy annoys me. You don't get to say "I'm not complaining" and then say something is shitty in the same breath, especially when the thing in question is not even remotely shitty in the first place.

Magister Dawngrasp, a truly bad card  with very little practical applications.

I don't think a truly bad card would become the linchpin of a top-15 deck with a positive win rate, but I don't mind if it continues to be underrated.

I already know that a lot of the player base don't care about Wild nor Wild players, and I'm not complaining, just pointing out that it's pretty shitty for people that don't play the mode (The same could go for the duels quest, but I'm biased about it because I enjoy the mode).

    1. You are definitely complaining.

    2. You see that you are biased, yet you complain about it anyway.

    3. It's not about other players not caring about Wild. It's about Wild not being a money-making game mode for Blizzard, so there's no reason to reward playing it. In fact, I'm sure Blizzard sees Wild as a necessary evil and would prefer it if no one played Wild.

    4. Newer players are completely unfamiliar with Wild cards, and they certainly don't own any.

    5. You don't even have to win the games. Just put some random Core cards together and collect your free packs, you ingrate.

They split apart the last couple of bundles. Too bad they didn't split up this one (for North America). I want Frost Fairy Jaina, but there is no way in hell I will abide that Rexxar abomination in my collection.

Should've stated that Im commenting on standard.

Nah, it should always be assumed you are talking about Standard unless you specify Wild.

Just a guess: It would not be OP at 4 mana, but I don't know how much of an impact that would actually make in the face of these combos.

I don't always agree with your opinions, but when I do, I really, really do. This is one of those times. <3

Pretty sure Celestalon was not talking about Wild or even giving it a lot of thought right now.

I will be very pleased if every single deck on that spreadsheet is nerfed into oblivion.

Maybe it wasnt exciting overall, but it did bring some good cards and Rush was one of the biggest stepping stones in the future design since that point and allowed to make some more exciting cards since :)

It has been argued that the overuse of Rush is when the decline of the board-centric meta began. When immediate removal is so easy and commonplace, you look for ways to win without needing to stick a board.

WW wasn't just "low excitement" to me; it was actively discouraging. I hated Genn and Baku enough that I took a year-long break from HS.

Why would you think a streamer's habits or opinions are representative of the greater player base?

They may have a broader perspective on gameplay issues (because they play a lot more than the average player), but this is a quality-of-life issue. Enough people have asked for this with such consistent frequency that there's really no excuse for ignoring the request.

There are already a multitude of card backs and hero portraits that were supposed to be exclusive or indicators of prestige or seniority in the game and, however, have been given practically for free to everyone.

False. No one ever said those were exclusive or that they would never again be offered or awarded. If you believed they were, that was an assumption on your part.

Not that I think the need for immediate balance changes is as big now as it has been in the past, but what if it were?

I'm tired of Blizzard scheduling expansion releases so close to official tournaments. It's just poor planning that causes the entire player base to suffer in the name of esports, when only a tiny, tiny sliver of the player base actually cares about esports.
