While I think this is weaker than Testing Dummy, I don't think that means that this is a bad card, Boom bots should not be underestimated in wrestling over the board or getting in some burn.
While there's a number of strong minis (Rogue's Sandbox Scoundrel immediately comes to mind), I'm very doubtful that they're powerful enough to justify spending 9 mana playing this guy. Especially when even within the same class, 8+ mana cards tend to need to be game winning/ending to see play.
I like that it targets the highest cost in hand and not totally random. Instead, the building challenge is working around minions that benefit from being damaged or even dying. Amusingly, could even make a case for Crimson Expanse to copy something like a Grommash, but I'm not holding my breath for that deck.
I think even if Testing Dummy is the only real target, this is a really good activator for it, almost pushes it to Owl Warlock from Alterac Valley territory.
The problem with Patrons is that they exist in a world without a Warsong Commander to really push them and Frothing Beserker back into relevancy. Sure the extra tempo is tempting for Odyn decks, but probably loses out to more control oriented builds.
In tandem with Boom Wrench, this will put out a stupid amount of damage very quickly, either clearing boards or whittling down the opposing hero's life to finish off with Odyn or other endgame finishers.
There's a lot of good applications for having any armor potentially costing 0, such as being able to play Stoneskin Armorer for the draw on curve, amping up Sanitize when you're under pressure from an aggro deck.
Much better than Taelan Fordring, even though the tutoring isn't quite as specific as his, being tied to a battlecry rather than a deathrattle is a significant speed up for combos.
Like Cactus Construct before it, this will see play in a wide assortment of decks, from aggressive wanting consistent curves to control that want some early game tempo to soften up the aggression without taking too much time away from their endgame.
Not entirely sure if the she'll be worthwhile, but getting a board that's immediately buffed by a 0-mana Cultivation is pretty nutty. Does Druid have enough Trent tokens to do so... unlikely.
Suddenly Gaslight Gatekeeper appears to be a really great enabler for this, but I still worry about the timing of this card coming down. The slower the giant, the easier it is to be answered back with removal and AoE.
The Mini is great, the base not so much. Not transforming/remembering the Corrupted activation is also a big ding against this, as it significantly limits Rogue's ability to bounce and replay this over and over.
Just an okay value card, especially with the second roll with the mini

Really makes leaving cards like Zilliax or Testing Dummy or even Fireworker up really dangerous.

Probably more worthwhile as a 2 mana Draw 2 specific minions like Testing Dummy than a 2 mana Draw 2 in a Taunt Warrior deck.
Oh hey, it's an Unstable Ghoul with Lifesteal!
...
That's it, it's 2024, I don't think that's particularly worth.
Sleeper Harbringer Celestia. Someone is gonna get this off of a random 3-drop roll and make someone hesitant to drop a Titan on curve tho
Potential with Paladin and DK, the former just for the sheer number of bodies to buff, the latter for the sheer number of bodies... as corpses.
Cute little taunt, but 3 damage removal is quite common, not sure if it'll be that effective even against aggro decks.

Absolute staple in Dragon decks, a 1 mana 3/2 that buffs a dragon in the future is nuts.
