The buff patch has finally arrived on mobile, bringing buffs to all players and oh yeah, Pogos are hopping everywhere. In this post we'll take a look at the new decks this Rise of the Mech update has inspired our community members to create. Be sure to read their deck guides too!
Pogo Rogue
I already mentioned pogos didn't I? Rippy has taken the archetype in a bit different direction, utilizing the also-buffed Violet Haze among some other token creating cards to fill up his hand in order to play some early Mountain Giants.
OTK Paladin
The reduced mana cost of Crystology has gotten some Holy Wraths swinging again. Delko has included Immortal Prelate+Da Undatakah-combo as an alternative, more grindy win condition in his version in case Warriors get too excited armoring up.
Tempo Mage
Expect the Unexpected with this deck. HooliganPolygon has spotted some sweet and cheap combos with the new 3-mana Unexpected Results.
Token Mutate Shaman
I lied again, I've taken the last one from Twitter. Jambre has been busy creating tokens and turning them into legendaries with The Storm Bringer.

Wow those decks looks so weird. Especially Former Champ everywhere, Ravencaller, Violet Haze and Mutate. Rogue and Shaman looks pretty cool. I like this postbuff meta right now (tho I didn't play a while, cant say for sure)
Mech paladin is going very well to the ladder cause of his great tempo and magnetic combos.
That rogue deck looks so inconsistent, so many cards that just aren't standalone good waiting for another card to show up to synergize with it.. And the deck has very little card draw(it has card generation, but just one card actually draws cards) seems weird.. Does it even work?
Underbelly Angler in the Shaman list seems a bit weak with a max of 3 other cards in the deck to trigger it. I guess you have to hold on to Sludge Slurper to play alongside him and then hope to chain murlocs
Thank you for mentioning my list <3
Is there a way to get the deck code without having to go to the main deck page? Would be nice to be able to get it from here if possible :)
That's definitely in the works, alongside with upvote/downvote buttons. No ETA currently.
Cool. Thanks for that. Good to know! :)
Also if anyone wanted a bomb hunter, this list is working for me. I'm rating Upgradeable Framebot a lot in this deck, it's great at getting something to stick for Magnetize. I might end up adding a Mossy Horror though over the Necro as a sure-fire way to set off Flark's bomb's. I Just crafted Flark for the list so I've not gotten to use him a lot yet. One thing I am thinking is if you have used a lot of your magnetic mechs already, the bombs might just be dead on the board. I know people were cutting him before, but I just wanted to go all out on the bombs and thought with SN1P-SN4P that's extra ways to make the bombs active. I do reckon a Mossy Horror could be great though as it's only 1 mana more than Flark, so could be played the next turn.
If you could combo necro, flark and mossy though, that would be sweet. I'm just not sure right now what to take out for mossy. I like all the stuff how it is.
Rogue deck looks frighteningly
I've been running the storm bringer in murloc since RoS dropped. That 1 mana makes a huge difference
Not a fan of the paladin deck. It feels like it's trying to do too many things. Undertaker is extremely vulnerable to silence and transformations. It has 5 cards invested in this deck to get it going. I would at least like to see something like the Bells or a Defender of Argus to make the existing prelates do something other than be a 1/3. It would probably not be great for a OTK deck but think it's getting meme-ish in that form.
Pogo-Hopper & Magic Carpet can escalate real quickly
yeah, I've heard that is good. do you know if you need preps for that deck? I dusted my preps for the full dust value as wasn't playing rogue much at the moment, and wanted to divert the resources. This was prior to the buffs being announced though. I do like some pogo hoppers, I was otherwise bored with rogue though and I never like to play the top dog deck too much.
Prep is still the crème de la crème Rogue card, since so many Rogue cards are built around it. It's not necessary, especially if you're going for the tempo version. One thing I will say about Pogo Rogue is that like Deathrattle Hunter, it's really only favoured against heavy control matches like Giants Cyclone Mage, Control Shaman or Warrior.
Crafted the few pieces I was missing from the temp mage Khagdar and Luna to try it out. Looks like a fun deck.
you said to share decks in the comments? I made this hybrid shaman that is dong well for me. it might look a little weird at a glance, but it plays great. I'm still in the process of fine tuning it though, so probably not the finished thing. Ideally I wanted to use the 2 new buffed cards as well as the new legendary. I also wanted to make an agressive deck that could make wide and tall boards and could be sticky. I think I succeeded in doing what I set out to do. Only issue I might run into is draw (but it hasn't been yet) I could change the deck slightly to accommodate frog totems though if this was an issue, and maybe a single copy of storm chaser.
Like I say, still testing the deck out. I love it so far though. Great fun.
EDIT: also 2 x soul of the murloc might be overkill, I'm just aware that you need to have a sticky deck at the minute. I may end up just running 1 or cutting them completely if the replicating mechs are enough. Ideally though you get a replicating mech to land on amalgam or coppertail, and then when this pops you cast soul of the murlocs on the adds. You either stack up a mech for damage or use one of the buffs to help find the damage for lethal.
I think that mech paladin is still better than otk paladin. Something to realize is that snip snap has antisynergy with army so don't include snip snap
antisynergy because of the 1/1's on the deathrattle?
Yeah, it ruins the resummon pool. However, a F2P player like myself that doesn't have Kangor's can use Snip Snap because it sort of acts like burst damage in a deck with no reach.
