Ugh... Why can't the albatross be un-nerfed so that Highland Hunter won't be as dominating or prevalent!?!?!?
I climbed the ladder initially with Guardian Druid, but once I hit Diamond I switched to Stealth Rogue and climbed all the way to Legend.
I didn't use Plague of Madness, I found that giving my opponent a weapon to clear my minions was not a great idea, especially with so many Demon Hunters I was facing off against.
A lot of lists were using Jandice Barov as well, but I didn't have her so I used Akama for some tempo on turn 3
Looking at the lists prescribed it's kinda scary seeing TWO hunter lists. I know people are rallying for Paladins and Rogues to be nerfed but I wouldn't be surprised if Hunter was nerfed somehow also
I'm assuming the inclusion of Face Hunter in this article is also motivated by the fact that it is quick and cheap. The only card in the list that might be overpowered is Voracious Reader, but in a meta where Priest and Ramp Druid are very strong I don't expect a nerf to their natural predators.

Although this list only contains 4 classes, I'd dare say almost every class has a decent fighting chance to ladder as well.

Shaman's unfortunately don't get much love... yet.
This is one of the best metas IMO because regardless of which class you are mainly focusing on, there is a deck that you CAN ladder effectively with them. Which all the more makes predicting the meta very difficult.

I've been using a stealth rogue mostly to climb. However Regis Killbin posted a Making Mummies deck which caught my attention. I didn't have Keymaster Alabaster. A real fun deck to run and I needed an excuse to run Sir Finley of the Sands, which I just happened to open golden. Also Educated Elekk is hilarious and one of my favorite Ashes cards Replicat-o-tron makes for a weird threat. Deck doesn't always win but makes for some real interesting games.

it depends on the meta which one is better i would argue since its a fast meta and for example aggro rogue is a top deck that has a lot of 1 health minions stealthed the skipper version might be better.skipper was a rly strong card before the expansion and it remains very strong.even in grandmasters everyones playing the skipper version even casey who came up with the nonskipper version even tho grandmasters decks are more control than aggro.

Argent Braggart is 100% going to end up on the nerf list eventually, that card is quite possibly the only reason why Libram Paladin is doing as well as it is.
its a very powerful card and i wouldnt be surprised if it would get nerfed especially after pure paladin is on the rise again after falling off previously.however theres a new nonpure libram paladin on the rise with penflinger pyromancer even knife juggler that looks very promising possibly better than pure paladin at least in high legend that doesnt run braggart.
Penflinger and the librams is an annoying combo, those games take FOR-EVER if you're playing against them.
