Descent of Dragons is Hearthstone's 13th expansion and is set to release on December 10, 2019.
Quick Info
Pre-order bundles return, with more card packs than usual (60 & 100)!
Every class will be getting a legendary Dragon! In fact, this expansion will have the most Dragons out of any set.
New Keyword: Invoke - Upgrade the mighty Galakrond! Playing these cards will also cast his Hero Power. Galakrond and Invoke cards will not be available in Arena (source).
New Keyword: Sidequests - Similar to quests except they don't start in your hand and can be played alongside active quests. Sidequests will be available in Arena (source).
New Mechanic: Explorers - Dragon cards for the non-evil classes which Discover a Dragon alongside another, class-themed effect.
New Mechanic: Breaths - Spells that make use of Dragon-holding mechanics to power-up their effects.
A solo adventure will be launching in January 2020. It is linear rather than a dungeon run.
More free stuff than ever before including 5 Legendaries.

NEW! We are adapting to a new scoring system -1 being the worst and 5 being the best score- to get in line with the general scoring system on the site!

Well its twice as good as the original...which is in accordance with the overall feel of the upgrades in my opinion. But I miss some spells like Pyroblast? Why isn't that on the list.
The list contains only basic spells, not all Classic ones.

I am not sure I like this card. Because its effect is random and the stat-line of the minion is a bit underwhelming. If you need one specific spell your odds are only 33%. So this is a card played for value more than anything else. At the 5-mana turn it has serious competition with Zilliax.
But I have to admit, when combined with say a Kalecgos in hand, this will make your next 10 mana turn very strong indeed.
You're right, I got a little overconfident there. What I meant was that after playing Myra's and hopefully filling our board with waxadreds, our deck may be empty but every killed waxadred shuffles another Candle in our deck which resummons a waxadred. So we technically suffer one fatigue per turn but otherwise go infinite, while Nomi only fills the board only once.
The way I read how the candles work is they trigger and summon waxxadred once drawn. Then they draw the next card. Just like the 4/4 spiders from KnC. So in the end you always draw a card after Myras. So this play wouldn't be fatigue proof imo.
Three quest-shamans in a row (all evolved some rabbits in their first 3-4 turns of course) followedby a combo-priest who combod me in turn 5. I think that is enough hearthstone for today. And people complained about n'zoth making the ladder boring, lmao.
Definitely the strongest Galakrond card so far. Also makes Heistbaron Togwaggle way more consistent. Those two might provide a buildaround on their own: early game is lackeys and the usual tempo package while constantly invoking Galakrond, then go Togwaggle or Galakrond around turn 7 and draw some heavy minions like Colossus of the Moon, Living Monument, Big Bad Archmage (or rag in wild). The hero power and Umbral Skulker can also lead to a huge edwin. So all in all this looks really powerful!
I'm not sure why everyone suppose that he refreshes your mana crystals - as far as I understand it, he sets you to 10 mana crystals, but those 4 which you used to play him, will still remain used - so you will have 6 more crystals to use this turn and then your opponent will have 10 on his turn - still quite strong in my opinion
This is I think similar to Mojomaster Zihi which was just mentioned - he also sets you to some number of mana crystals, but he doesn't refresh them - that would be really OP

This is a work in progress!
New Mage Minion - Malygos, Aspect of Magic
The list contains only basic spells, not all Classic ones.
Descent of Dragons
So the E.V.I.L. classes get nice new hero powers but what do the good guys get to compensate for that?
New Mage Minion - Malygos, Aspect of Magic

New Shaman Spell - Lightning Breath
I don't know if I'm overestimating this card, but I'm going to keep all the copies I get from packs, just to be sure (if you know what I mean)
Cutlass Doom Rogue - 55%WR R4
Nice. I play the same but drop both hucksters for shaku and a scheme
New Rogue Minion - Waxadred
You're right, I got a little overconfident there. What I meant was that after playing Myra's and hopefully filling our board with waxadreds, our deck may be empty but every killed waxadred shuffles another Candle in our deck which resummons a waxadred. Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!

Daily reminder to take the man who made Underbelly Angler out to the back and shoot him.
New Rogue Hero - Galakrond, the Nightmare
Definitely the strongest Galakrond card so far. Also makes Heistbaron Togwaggle way more consistent. Those two might provide a buildaround on their own: early game is lackeys and the usual tempo package while constantly invoking Galakrond, then go Togwaggle or Galakrond around turn 7 and draw some heavy minions like Colossus of the Moon, Living Monument, Big Bad Archmage (or rag in wild). New Rogue Minion - Waxadred
Really nice for DR Rogue, I hope I'll get this card. Might also try it out in wild.
And then there's meme potential galore in there: play Waxadred, trigger its deathrattle as often as possible with Necrium Blade and Necrium Vial (prep says hi), Shadow of Death it for good measure and then hit Myra's Unstable Element. Should end up with a Chef Nomi like board state without having to worry about fatigue, the only hard counter being Plague of Death.
New Hunter Minion - Dragonbane
I like the mech tag. Probably too slow for wild, but it could help giving standard mech hunter another shot.
New Shaman Spell - Lightning Breath
I'm sure as hell not going to use that disenchant duplicates button for this expansion. This looks seriously op.
Nozdormu the Timeless
I'm not sure why everyone suppose that he refreshes your mana crystals - as far as I understand it, he sets you to 10 mana crystals, but those 4 which you used to play him, will still remain used - so you will have 6 more crystals to use this turn and then your opponent will have 10 on his turn - still quite strong in my opinion
