  • Hirumredx, AKA The Duel Logs, started a Hearthstone channel a couple weeks ago. For anyone who doesn't know, he's a super-prolific World of Warcraft and YuGiOh content creator, mostly in the form of Top Tens.

It's basically junk food content, but it's good. I thought the channel deserved a little spotlight since he doesn't seem to be advertising it anywhere.

  • Just ban Pogo-hopper.

If you're gonna repeat this brawl 88 times a year, at least make it so that people can experiment. It's soooooo fuckin' boring just playing the Pogo brawl.

  • Does anyone have a hint for this one? It's the only Hearthstone one I'm missing.

"Ah yes, because apparently someone thought fighting your gift giver was the best way to show Winter Veil spirit."

I tried Winterveil Magni and Nemsy, and I tried a couple notable cards that give things to your opponent (Togwaggle, Dancing Swords, Griftah), but nothin'. I don't know if I'm the right track or not.

If the temperature just dropped drastically for seemingly no reason, then you're probably experiencing one of these.

This has to be related to 'hypothermia' and the only reference I could find was to Captain Galvangar but that did not trigger.

You're looking for a specific term to describe the phenomena in the clue. It's also not a Constructed card, which makes it a little harder.

  • Nobody thinks you should be banned. The dislike button doesn't mean "ban this", it - and hold here, because this will be very shocking - it means "I dislike this."

I dislike whiny, pretentious, nihilistic, posts that are looking to complain instead of actually improve and use "Oh don't diswike poow old meee, I'm just giving my opinion!" as if that's a shield against all criticism.

  • You can just... play control decks. I piloted a Quest Priest to Diamond 4 or something in January (that sounds unimpressive, but I play like four or five games of ranked a session max and I rarely play every day). You're not gonna have the bestest winrate evar, but like, tier 2/off-meta decks usually still have a high enough winrate to climb.

You can be the new meta. I've seen Kazakusan played 10+ times over the last two days, and I was every single one of them.

  • Locusts really needs a nerf. There's no reason for it to have Twinspell. It's pretty much a guaranteed 28 damage that can't be played around outside of exactly Snowfall Guardian. And I'm saying that as someone who has yet to have Locusts played against them; just playing it feels so dirty.

Otherwise, Kazakusan is probably fine. He's an 8 mana do-nothing that sets up to win in a few turns. There are faster and safer win conditions in Standard already.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. There's not a chance I would've remembered that card existed on my own.

  • Another one of my favourite brawls.

Unfortunately, Jaraxxus is now banned, so no fun that way. However, Libram of Justice plus City Tax is pretty broken.

  • Bumping, because the card backs are a little behind again. We're currently missing Unseen Gleams (uploaded with the wrong image currently), Diao Chan, Xuen, Dancing Lion, Year of the Gryphon, Rain on the Pane, and Shimmering Snowflake.

Again, I don't want to be pushy, I just like keeping the card backs up to date.

  • No Core set? Interesting. There's also basically no Demon Hunter class cards. Just Alterac and Onyxia's Lair.

  • Why does everyone think Leeroy has something to do with Onyxia's Lair? The Leeroy Jenkins video takes place in Upper Blackrock Spire.

  • All mini-set cards are craftable. Only adventure cards were paywall locked.

  • Way too all-in for an effect that can whiff. Ten mana cards need to win the board back to see play, not just push an advantage.

Plus, I'd rather just recast Wildfire with Dawngrasp than take a down turn and maybe highroll something later.

  • This has a lot of potential. Expendable Performers was never a bad card, it was just lacking support. Druid has a lot more support for wide boards than DH. However, this is very expensive, and I don't think the current Token Beast Druid needs a 7-mana reload. There was that one 8-mana Twinspell from Rise of Shadows that saw play, but the meta is very different right now.

  • That's actually disappointing. I was hoping it'd be closer to Arch-Villain Rafaam. It's less chaotic and you'll see less variety in the treasures this way.

  • Scabbs is in the trailer; he just played Cloak of Shadows.

  • My first thought was that this looks bonkers. Then I remembered that Groundskeeper is still in Standard, and when was the last time you saw anyone playing that? Unconditional Shield Slam is a lot better than conditional Flash Heal of course, but it's not that far off.

If Control Warrior is good, then this card will be played. If Control Warrior is struggling, I don't think this card is good enough to make an impact.

  • I don't know if this is good immediately. Hysteria seems more consistent and flexible. It might be good enough to see play, but I'm not hopeful.

However, on rotation this should be pretty strong. Priest is lacking in midrange board clears right now, and Quest Priest has so much search and card generation. I think it's unlikely that this card will be stranded.

  • You never finish the quest against an aggro deck anyway. All you have to do is survive until you can stabilize. I would gladly hold a card to guarantee the board swing.

Seriously, the number of times I've had to sit on Condemn (Rank 1) because it's not good until you have 5 mana hurts.

EDIT: I'm also used to holding Palm Reading until I've played my 4, for the record. It actually sucks getting your Hysteria cut to 3 mana and potentially stranding you.
