Avoid at all costs in Arena. Slow and easy to deal with. Should've been a 3/6. I apologize in Blizzards behalf for anyone who opens this.
Are you trolling? This is great in arena. No guarantee on efficacy or number of HK cards. Not to mention it's statline is only 1 mana point below par (-1 attack from yeti)
For standard, sure, it'll require some gimmicks to be worth including. But arena? Not sure what you are smoking but you're crazy if you don't see this doing well in general in arena.
This feels so underwhelming. I mean, the hero card itself is good with the improved secrets, but summoning an Animal Companion for your hero power feels lackluster. And I can't think of any Hunter archetype that can make use of this card, which looks like it's more suited to control.
There's nothing wrong with hunter being encouraged to do control. Remember Deathstalker Rexxar? Control hunter is actually one of the few hunter archetypes that is interesting to fight against and play as (spell hunter, DK rexxar, etc). There's nothing really exciting or incentivizing for "oh look...more smorc hunter support cards. /yawn
Being able to discover huffer would be broken though. Even Justicar Trueheart only upgraded the hero power from 2->3. Allowing a 4/2 charge minion every turn as early as turn 6 would be backbreaking to counter.
It annoys me to no end that Blizzard/Team5 refuses to use previous keywords. Just use Echo damnit! Not sure why they insist that it's "too confusing". Keywords have HOVER components that explain what they are. Arrrrg! I can't be alone on this infuriating inconsistency that they constantly do every expansion:
"Hey all, here's this card with this totally not previous mechanic brought back but this time without the nice keyword to truncate the text!"
This seems fun. Seems like if freeze shaman becomes a thing you'll need to carefully balance your deck with removal AND minions, lest you get swept away by all in deck building (spell based or minion based decks)
I think this card will be nuts if weapon classes are meta. The downside is that it summons at the end of your turn which means your opponent gets to choose how they deal with it.
This card is just super busted, right? A cantrip that freezes? Insta include in any Shaman deck that doesn't rely on Primal Dungeoneer.
I mean to be fair, if you're running a frost spell in the first place you probably aren't running Dungeoneer. I forsee that Multicaster is gonna be the new go-to draw card for shaman (allowing more versatility).
Could see some niche use combo with Stockades Guard perhaps? I dunno. I want to like this, but unlike other similar cards like Cenarion Ward, the fact it starts frozen may be too much of a drawback.
People keep talking about it being 0 cost. But the truth is, you will reliably be able to play this on turn 3 for 3 mana if you keep one copy in your opening hand. (2 burgle type cards + this). Yes, a 0 mana 4/5 is great, but a 3 mana 4/5 is more realistic for tempo and not just losing to face hunter.
3 mana 6/6 is no joke. The real question is, will removel/tempo be up to par and make this easy to counter or will this allow Rogues to gain early game tempo?
I don't mind mana cheat and enabling wonky expensive turns at the cost of "do nothing" cards such as this. What I worry about is the resurgence/reappearance of Charge.
It seems that Charge is slowly making its way back into the game, which IMO is not a healthy aspect of the game I wish to re-engage. I still have PTSD from Leeroy days.
Could have potential synergy with the hunter card that when traded gives rush...

Just what everyone wanted. More token druid support! /s

As TrumpHS would say... "ValueTown!"

Also...I wish Moorabi was in standard now. THIS is the card he needed for him to be good...

Frostbolt for shaman with an upside? Sure why not.
I'll be honest I kind of forgot Hanar existed.

Agreed. We already have Crimson Clergy and it doesn't see play so I doubt this will either.

This just seems like reckless flurry but generally better in all but the most extreme of circumstances.

Are you saying this is just going to copy a bunch of secrets? :)
