I really hope the nerf to Extra Arms isn't true. It was my favorite card from the Boomsday Buffs, going from unplayable garbage, to a strong card that could fit a variety of synergies ranging from Eggs to Miracle decks.
Reverting the card to 3 mana essentially deletes it and just makes these few months with it at 2 mana feel like a tease.
This looks sweet. I'll give it a spin. How is it working for you so far?
It's been ok. The Prelate stall plan is rather slow though since everything only has two attack. Games can take a long time since you end up stalling them out till fatigue.
Those look like some fun decks. Is Sylvanas Windrunner too slow for either deck? I would love to give her reborn. Could help swing the board in your favor.
Maybe in the midrange one. I had considered her when building it, but the lack of immediate deathrattle triggers make her rather slow.
These three cards in particular enable some fun deathrattle abusing shenanigans. Giving your cheap deathrattles like Dead Ringer reborn lets you complete the quest really easily and double up on the deathrattle effects without relying entirely on Twilight's Call! Wretched Reclaimer is basically Terrorscale Stalker for priest, but even better since it puts more copies of the deathrattle minion in your rez pool for Twilight's Call and Psychopomp, you can use it on a Reborn deathrattle like Grandmummy to summon 2 copies of the minion (and you can even use it on the non-reborn half of Grandmummy to bring it back with Reborn again.) and you can use it on 1/1 copies from Mirage Caller and Twilight's Call!
I had quite a bit of laughs memeing around with a SMOrc Quest Priest yesterday that just kills the opponent by summoning obscene amounts of Leper Gnomes and Kobold Sandtroopers even if the deck auto-losses to any kind of healing or armor gain.
A midrange build with stuff like Nerubian Egg and Carnivorous Cube was doing much better for me with a similar level of fun too.
Even though Awaken the Makers normally promotes a control playstyle, it kinda works quite well for a midrange deck since you can complete the quest really fast and just use Amara, Warden of Hope as a 5 mana 8/8 Taunt for some big tempo and maybe cube it later.
Until I craft Spiritsinger Umbra, would Baron Rivendare be a decent substitute? It's the same cost, and I would imagine stays out just as long once your opponent realizes what's coming.
Yeah, that could work alright. Tweaking the deck a bit to include Carnivorous Cube may be a good idea as well.
Technically there are only two female mogu, the Twin Consorts who were the second to last boss in the Throne of Thunder.
It also doesn't make any sense for Mogu to be in Uldum or for them to summon a Titan Keeper considering that the Mogu abandoned the duties bestowed upon them by the titans and became evil warlords that took over pandaria. Lore-Wise Mogu Cultist is a complete screw up.
I am missing Spiritsinger Umbra. What do you think would be a good replacement? I would think that adding some faceless manipulators and carniverous cubes would be good. But then I would have to remove more cards. I would probably remove X2 drain soul for two faceless, and umbra for a cube.
I'd probably play 2 cubes and one Faceless, but that does seem to be the best option if you don't have Umbra. I would advise making the changes I mentioned above for Healbots and Zilliax though.
Hard to pick, but I'll go with Flame Ward for opening up so many options for Secret mage.
And being so hard to play around to
It's not hard to play around. People just straight up don't play around it. We've never had a mage secret that AOEs the board so they don't think of it. It's the same deal with pressure plate
You may be right on this one, we may all just need a bit of training to make it as predictable as any other secret. I was saying hard to play around as in, usually, you would test the water deploying a cheap minion 1st, then a cheap spell, and so on until you are confident you can make your move. We will get better at it, or maybe just I need to get used to it
I think the main reason people play hard into Flame Ward is that people are just trained to check for Vaporize first by hitting with a small minion and Flame Ward is kinda checked the opposite way.
After playing it in my Casino Reno Mage I quickly came to love this card. The art and flavor are great and the card itself is pretty good. Being a cheaper, neutral Ethereal Conjurer and having the fun "Mystery Choice" as a fourth option makes the card even better!
Why the fuck are there so many Big Priests in casual?!
The fact that half of them run Activate the Obelisk makes me all the angrier. Just when you think you're actually going to play against someone who's mentally competent enough to make a fun and interesting homebrew deck, NOPE IT'S JUST MORE AUTO-PILOT WHEELCHAIR PRIEST!
At least go play your broken shit on ladder and stop ruining my attempts to have fun and experiment every other game!
I've been having decent success with a build that is very draw heavy just trying to assemble Expired MerchantCruel Dinomancer and Spiritsinger Umbra as fast as possible. My worst matchup is Hyper-Aggressive deck, since the desire to furiously tap every turn makes it easy to be burst down quickly.
Spend all your cash gambling on packs? Well, luckily this casino is really cheap!

Ironic that Making Mummies turned out to be the only viable quest when many expected it to be the worst during reveal season.

If I had Da Undatakah I'd use him as the Spikeridge/Lifesteal/Copy target and include Kobold Sandtrooper and Leper Gnome to speed up the killing process.

Not a problem if your deck is empty thanks too Prismatic Lens, Tip the Scales, and Murloc Tastyfin.
Plus just playing it as a Murloc River Crocolisk is alright in this deck anyway.

I'd have to say mine is Vulpera Scoundrel.

Poison Seeds actually doesn't counter it since deathrattles trigger before the treants are summoned.

I ran into 3 Control Warriors, 1 Quest Warlock, 1 Quest Druid, and 1 Mech Hunter
Oh great. It's the "You don't actually get a Tavern Brawl" Brawl again...
You may want to run Cubes or other Copy Effects like Faceless if you don't have Umbra

How has your experience been going?
About 70 packs. Got Octosari, Making Mummies, and Dark Pharaoh Tekahn.
Raid the Sky Temple was my free quest and Anka, the Buried was my golden legendary.
I got a lot of epics though.
Troggzor the Earthinator
Overhyped legendary
