As things begin to settle in the first week of Madness of the Darkmoon Faire, it's time to check out the top meta deck from each class. A few decks on this list are so good that we don't even need Darkmoon Faire cards - how is that for F2P accessibility?
The decks below are sorted by winrate using data from HSReplay.

Shocked/Not-Shocked to see what is and is not in the top items.
I am a little surprised at the lack of DMF cards in Pure Paladin though. Even in Libroom there is in the inclusion of a few of the DMF cards, I wonder it if is because the standing deck has such a solid win rate?
Ok blizz, you've proven that libram paly works, now can you please revert the buff to Aldor Attendant so we can see other archetypes in the meta? Thanks
Yeah, it is pretty silly how librams have completely taken over paladin to the point where I don't consider 'libram paladin' to be its own thing anymore. I think it is clear you have a class design issue when the auto-include cards are also the primary win condition, thereby making every archetype in the class much too similar.
It's kind of like the opposite of what druid was during (i think) Boomsday, where just about every deck ran the same 25 cards but had a different combo for the win condition
Wow. Face hunter and face demon at the top. Another really exciting meta!
Just wait a minute, Pure Paladin is in the list as well.
Yeah, but just look how much this deck has changed since the new expansion came out. So many new cards in it that it's almost unrecognizable. Same as hunter and bomb warrior.
I guess it was good while it lasted. Not even a full week has passed since new expansion has launched and we're back to old boring meta.
You know the funny thing about that? A lot of people, me included cried out loud that powercreeping the cards was a mistake because the game was incredibly balanced around stats being vanilla and effects costing mana (even when they were bad) and it worked because Tempo has been the best archetype since beta, but now that every card has vanilla stats and some of them get incredibly op effects, it's not balanced at all in that same regard, so the only way to keep doing it is to YugiOh the cards (that doesn't work since all cards here cost mana instead of just "a card") so we end up with aggro/tempo being the most op stuff because they can play the cards earlier.
IMO, too many players think they need to be spikes in order to reach legend. So it results in people who aren't creative, can't fathom playing an unrefined deck, and believe the only way they'll reach legend is by playing aggro decks. Every season that I've made legend I did so with something other than an aggro deck....barring one season that I succumbed to playing face hunter.
And I honestly felt dirty after.
I also think that as Blizzard has increased the number of expansions and adventures per year, it becomes harder for a F2P to put together a meta deck other than aggro. At this point, I have to pillage five other classes to get cards for the four classes that I play. I do think Blizzard should have tossed in a free Old God at launch.
Secret Rogue :D Never thought i would see that to become competitive, lol!
is this related to last week or to the month?
I think this article mainly shows how unrefined the meta still is. Three of these decks have no new cards, which to me shows that there is still a lot of room to explore and refine new decks. I wonder how this list will look in a week, I hope you guys will make an article comparing the two. Small question though: which ranks do these winrates into account? Is it all ranks or something else?
Crazy that two of the best decks according to this are a Paladin deck and a Hunter deck that existed pre-DMF. Could those win rates be inflated due to player experimentation being exploited by established decks?
Also, poor Priest! I feel like they have got to have a better deck than that 47% win rate list. May just be that no one has figured it out yet. Guess it's time for me to start experimenting with C'Thun Priest!
https://hsreplay.net/decks/3qOYU8Eq9Av5s02mQKnXQe/
This big priest has been played 5000 games and has a 54% winrate. Looks fun.
I mean, I don't really WANT a version of Big Priest to thrive. But... I guess. LO
Eh...it's quest priest that I hate dealing with. This deck does some OP things if it can, just like any deck with a positive winrate. Doesn't seem liek it would be too annoying to paly against. Worst it does is build a wall usually.
Priest is usually slow to ramp up so things should look very different next week!
Happened every expansion. The first week's top meta decks are always an established aggro deck with few tweeks. It's exactly as you say, they climb the ranks quickly against people experimenting. If you are trying to make a rush to legendary it's a good time to do that because of the way the meta plays out, you only lose a piece of your soul by doing it...
Yeah but you eventually get it back and gain 2 health in the process.
