Hey, I'm looking to create some custom graphics, effects similar to Shadow Form or Cursed Blade, that appear over top hero portraits in the game. Has anyone pulled these various graphics out of the game in a usable format? Does anyone have homemade versions that approximate the visual effects?

Here's an image showing the stuff I'm talking about. Cursed Blade debuffing the hero and weapon with a red glow. The frozen and immune and shadow form hero effects too. Also, anyone have the reborn graphic?

I've been laddering (ranks 10-3) with Control Shaman for 3 seasons. Usually the game was VERY favoured against warrior but the introduction of Armagedillo and Tomb Warden toggled the matchup. :/ 

The deck still seems to be favoured against Druid (Quest), Rogue (apart from hard aggro), Priest (all of them) and Quest Shaman, to name the meta decks. 

My current iteration looks as follows, and I'm quite contend with it. BUT I'D LOVE TO HEAR SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS!

Why no Highlander all the way through? - Because Earthshock and Hex are just so good against Priest, Paladin and Warrior!

Hello fellow Arena players! What do you think is the most powerful class right now? How has the bucket change affected your runs?

I can't help but feel that highlander decks are so dull to play and play against. Once you know your opponent has only 1 of each spell (beyond discoverable shenanigans), playing around things becomes trivial. Most of the time, it's correct to gamble they don't have that perfect answer. If not, yay! You won!  If they did, scramble for Plan B.

I get that it's fun to make each card selected that much more meaningful, but the play and counter-play seem stale. 

Anyone else agree?

Yesterday I played Brann Bronzebeard into a Wretched Reclaimer, in order to dump my hand a bit. I didn't expect to see, that the ethereal would summon two copies of the legendary thanks to the double battlecry:

I always thought, that Wretched Reclaimer offers a plain resummon effect, which an be good with deathrattles and reborn+deathrattles, but it appears that it has more synergies than someone would expect. Was this interaction obvious to you? I didn't find any discussion about it in our site, so I've decided to share this discovery with you.

Sorry for the Noob question but what is a highlander deck?

Is it something to do with the movie? Or is it just a random name?

I'm preparing for a local wild tournament that will be on 9/17! The tournament is following the same Shield Conquest format of Grandmasters. These are the 4 decks I am thinking of bringing. I want to get my lineup solidified to give me time to practice with all of the decks. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the decklists, or maybe have any suggestions on different decks that might be good for a tournament setting?

Deck #1

I spent last month ranking with mostly Even Shaman. I used both this deck, and my Toteven Shaman list: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/6799-toteven-shaman I am torn on which one to bring. 

Deck #2

Burn Mage is the deck to beat in Wild atm, so I think it would be silly to not bring it. I would need to craft Aluneth which wouldn't be a problem because I have the dust and have been debating it. I just have been trying to avoid the dark side.

Deck #3 

Was leaning towards a Renolock to have a control deck option. Debating going with a Mecha'thun variant, but thinking this deck is probably the best option.

Deck #4 

I'm a little torn as to what to bring for the 4th deck. I'm thinking to either bring Odd Rogue, or to throw in a curve ball for fun and to throw opponents off with a Reno Dragon Hunter that I have a lot of fun with.

Token for Lake Seer

This is my four card mini-set for Shaman that surprisingly revolves around shuffling cards into your deck and gaining benefit from that. It's something that Shaman doesn't have yet in Hearthstone.

• Windshear Mystic gives some protection and shuffling synergy while also adding a nice Battlecry for Shudderwock.
• Elemental Vortex adds value generation in later stages.
• Lake Seer provides much needed synergy for your shuffling cards, providing you even more cards to shuffle, single-target clear and even more value generation.
• Vas'no draws cards you shuffled already while still shuffling copies of them. Useful for further synergy and tutoring some cards you need.

I was thinking today about the thing i hate most in hearthstone right now, lackey shit in every single deck on ladder and in casual mode, and it really got my gnoggin gjoggin. Warlock would be in a better place if defile was still in standard. It feels really bad to have to hellfire a board of 1/1s that the opponent can easily reproduce next turn due do the cancerous nature of lackey shit generating more and more lackey shit, and screeching a board of it, while discarding a card, just for them to repopulate the next turn is probably even worse. Idk, what cards do you think they should consider adding to the classic set?

I was messing with the "complete my deck" option and it suggested me a deck with pyro, alex and the new naga card. Thinking on that it seemed like a good combo in a highlander priest shell so I tried to generate one.

This is what I came up with so far:

It's probably not the next meta breaker but has been a lot of fun and gives me a bit of a raza priest vibe (although the combo is so much slower and weaker than that one)

Hey, made these cards while working on my Burning Legion set. Decided they didn't fit there, but I like them on their own. Something for a special event? Part of a new Old God's set maybe? I started adding the other 4 classes, but the flavor felt off and there are only so many interesting spells to do this with.

After the nerfs Hearthstone has felt much less exciting on a game to game basis. I think I expected a bigger change after the nerfs, but everything feels the same. The only thing I've really stopped seeing is Luna's Pocket Galaxy and everything else is the same. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'll take a deck to play, a card to build around, even just half an idea, I just want to enjoy the game.

i am a new player (played for 4 days now) and i discovered this forum. A couple of hours ago i openend 8 packs and i received 2 legendaries.

the legendaries are ysera and brightwing.

My question is are these legendaries good or not?

I am currently at rank 47

With the recent nerfs, I have gained a substantial amount of dust, so I would like some peoples’ opinions on the following legendaries: 

1. Siamat

2. King Phaoris

3. Making Mummies

I see that Phaoris and Siamat are included in a lot of decks, but I am not very convinced that they are needed/good in them. The decks I want to put them in are mainly Highlander Hunter/Mage and try some meme stuff like Phaoris Paladin.

Along with Making Mummies, how have these legendaries affected your average game? Do they help you win more often than not, or are they just nice to have in the deck? And would you support crafting them? 

I have enough dust to craft all three of them, so its not really a “which is best to craft” and more so “are they good cards and worth crafting?”
