Hearthstone is 10 years old and Blizzard is celebrating it with an in-game event and free login rewards! Here's everything you need to know about the event.

The event runs from February 27 until March 19, 2024.

A Celebratory Event

We've got an in-game event running to celebrate Hearthstone's 10 year anniversary! You can earn golden versions of the gift cards and a special coin by completing daily tasks and one-time quests.

From February 27 to March 19, kick the party up a notch with an in-game event. Complete the Event Rewards Track to earn Golden versions of all the “Gift” cards, plus a special Birthday Coin! 

Twist Celebrates Hearthstone's Iconic Eras

Starting on March 1, we're going to be traveling through time at a rapid pace for Hearthstone's full history. The Twist format is going into history mode with a schedule that is going to cause chaos. Starting on the first day of the month, only Legacy cards will be legal in the format and every day a new card set will be added to the card pool. Here's the entire schedule of when you can expect sets to arrive.

Do note that Blizzard has not released an official schedule as of writing and we are assuming expansions that also had a mini-set will see their mini-set released alongside the main card pool.

A Celebratory Card Back

A brand new card back is making its debut for Hearthstone's 10 years and can be yours for completing a special legendary quest.

Hearthstone Soundtrack Coming to Spotify, Apple Music, & YouTube

Mark your calendar for March 11 because over 30 of Hearthstone's iconic soundtracks are making their way to a streaming service near you. We don't have a full track list yet, but we're certain the main theme will have to make an appearance.

Blizzard has also stated that later this year, more music from Hearthstone will make its way to streaming services.

There will also be two more Hearthstone: Music from the Tavern releases later in the year, including songs from the Anniversary Picks and more. Look for all three Music from the Tavern albums on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and more when they launch. 

Community Day on Twitch

Running for 24 hours starting on March 11 at 10 AM Pacific (1PM Eastern, 19:00 CET), Twitch Drops will be available. Details to come in the future.

Everyone gets to join the celebration in our next Community Day, from March 11 (10 a.m. PT) to March 12 (10 a.m. PT). Party with your favorite Hearthstone streamers and collect Twitch Drops all day long! Just make sure you connect your Twitch account to your Battle.net account to make sure you get progress towards your drops. More details on Community Day drops to come closer to the event. 

World of Warcraft Crossover Event

World of Warcraft is getting into the fun with Hearthstone, allowing players to earn the "Fiery Hearthsteed" mount. This is a recolored version that has been in the game files all the way back in Mists of Pandaria. The original mount is still given out to players to this day for logging into Hearthstone and winning three matches against other players in the Play or Arena modes.

But, you don't want the old mount since you already have it - good news! World of Warcraft players that login to Hearthstone starting on March 11 will get the mount for free. If you aren't playing World of Warcraft but plan to start in the future, you should be able to still get the mount so make sure you login to Hearthstone! As if you already weren't going to to get those other sweet goodies.

It should be noted that the mount will only be available until May 14, 2024 though and it isn't available to players in World of Warcraft's classic game modes.
