Wild Highlander Deck Ideas

As I'm already a big fan of highlander decks in Wild I'm obviously excited to see new highlander cards being added in this new set. Not sure it will take off in Standard, but in Wild where Reno Jackson, (Kazakus,) and a much bigger pool of cards are there to help you out, it's hard to imagine the archetype will not see play.
That's why I'd like to see all your creative deck ideas!
This is the deck I am going to try first as soon as I got my hands on all the cards:

Arena > Wild > Standard
I haven't found too much success with Anomalus or Hex Lord Malacrass. Siamat is an elemental with rush and windfury for Jaina.
While I agree it might not be the most effective strategy it's so satisfying when you drop Anomalus on 8 and Frost Lich Jaina on 9 and then trading off your Anomalus. Hex Lord Malacrass helps a lot against other control decks, but might be worth replacing with Siamat indeed. Haven't thought about that card while building this deck so thanks for the tip! I can also slot him in for the Tortollan Pilgrim. We will know soon enough what works best!
Arena > Wild > Standard
I was actually wondering if it is worth it to screw it with the Control-ish plan, and focus on Tempo...
Both Kazakus and Zephrys the Great can provide Tempo swings to compensate for the loss of consistency.
I actually like your Idea and tried to build my own version. Let me show you

Interesting thought. Do you have a deck in mind? A Highlander Zoolock might work.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Nice deck! Will definitely give this a try too.
I might need to slot in a Zola the Gorgon in my own deck as well.
Arena > Wild > Standard
I'll probably add it to my Highlander priest deck. My deck uses dragons for pressure and raza/mind blast/the inspire minion that deals 4 damage to both heroes as a finisher. If anybody is interested let me know.
Fabricated something. Don't think it's any good. Looks more like an Arena deck to me.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Let's try something different with Priest to spice things up a bit.
Is there something I could do it better?
Looks very gimmicky. What is going to be your win condition?
Arena > Wild > Standard
Chef Nomi was a card I would consider in a Wild Reno Mage.
Six elementals in Frost Lich Jaina mode, and your opponent may have already spent their board clears just panicking over any elemental you get on the table.
Ok, so, after facing so many big priests, I got depressed and just quit using control decks (in fact now, I only seek aggro/burn decks if playing ranked, which kind of sucks), although Reno decks are so fun to play with...
How do you guys plan to counter this cancer with these control decks? (I'm not trying to be offensive, just being pragmatic) I mean, just one or two polymorphs are not enough, drawing treachery+doomsayer is not always feasible, and Raza was nerfed...
Maybe the new Zephrys guy with a more midrang-ish deck would be possible?
Any current Tempo list could be tuned for Zephrys the Great, and this is particularly true for Even decks.
Surely classes with Kazakus have an additional edge edge such a plan.
No idea if it's worth it either, but it may actually have more chances than Control Highlander decks in Wild, at least given the current meta. While retaining the great versatility unique to Highlanders...
I'll try my best to get me a Zephrys and try out some ideas.
Fair point. Probably just concede and move on. If have tried teching for Big Priest, but it's just not worth it. The match is still boring to play, it's still not a garanteed win and your deck is going to perform so much worse against other decks.
I don't think there is a card in the basic or classic set that Zephrys can pull out that does the job either.
Arena > Wild > Standard
That's exactly what I do. Barnes -> hit the magic button and, after saying "well played" to heighten the Big Priest player's ego... heh
Soon there will be: transform every minion into a random murloc. Sadly, that's not a neutral card, but there are many shamans out there.
Hopefully, this can hurt Big Priests a lot.
But Zephrys only pulls Basic or Classic.
Anyway, other than Big Priest, QMage is also another Control killer.
And i bet Secret Mage is bound to emerge even further in population.
Overall, the Control route is extremely narrow in Wild, and i don't see this changing any soon.
So, you can now see it in my signature, but here's a list I hope I can try. It's a Reno Mage, with Quest package for meta purposes (nowadays any Control deck needs to include a strong wincondition). Not sure it can actually work, but maybe, with some refinement.

Cool idea! Please let us know what the results are!
Arena > Wild > Standard
Aaand there we go with another Tempo-ish Highlander deck. This thing actually convinced myself I will insta-craft Zephrys the Great, and maybe Bazaar Burglary too.

Hmm, interesting. I have a deck that utilizes Thief and Deathrattle archetypes within Highlander Rogue, if anyone is interested:
It took me a while to get all the cards, but I finally got to play this deck. It's not good. Too many situational cards. It needs more cards that are good to play regardless of what your opponent is doing. Looking for ideas to adjust my deck, I found this list. It looked solid, but I did not agree with all inclusions. I basically wove my deck and this list together and this the result.
This is a true power house! I climbed with this from rank 8 to 5 in a few hours All these taunts provide good on curve plays, while building on a win condition at the same time. Heavy board clears do not seem to be necessary and nor does Skulking Geist. I could just out pressure the Jade Druid I was playing against.
Arena > Wild > Standard
I'm playing this Highlander priest deck. The quest should go (not good enough) but couldn't let it go yet. The mindgame might sometimes help win the game ;-) currently close to r5. The big damage turn (possible in multiple ways) is mostly missed/ignored. Damage can go upto 26 (when the stars align) in a single turn. It's not an otk (which is why I wrote "otk") but more a control/tempo deck with a burst finish.
Ow and it includes dragons because they are cool ;-)
I had some success with a Fatigue Reno Priest - 56% Winrate over 32 games in Legend so far:
