We're celebrating Nozdormu Day! The 15th of every month, starting last month, celebrates this beautiful bronze dragon and this month is certainly no exception.
If you want to take part in Nozdormu Day, you're in luck because all players can do so for free:
- Remove a card from one of your favourite decks and replace it with Nozdormu the Eternal.
- Queue up for a game with your new deck.
- Hopefully encounter another player with Nozdormu and have fun playing speedstone!
We're recommending that you play decks that aren't reliant on long combos or multiple actions in general. Playing minions with basic effects or casting simple spells will do you wonders with maximizing your 15-second turn time. Though, the better you are at adapting to the short periods of thinking will allow you to play some of the more complicated decks, so don't rule everything out.
You may want to queue on the casual ladder to not only prevent any potential ranked losses, but to also increase your chances of finding an opponent with Nozdormu. If everyone keeps themselves in one mode, and there isn't an MMR to worry about, we can increase our chances of speedstone success.
Why is the 15th of Each Month Nozdormu Day?
The 15th of each month is Nozdormu Day because it is a reference to the 15 seconds that each player has to take their turn when Nozdormu is present in both decks.

Played almost two hours in Standard between Platinum 10 and 8, met a few ropers but no fellow Nozdormu player :(

I don't play casual, Standard is my fun area. Sometimes Wild when I've already reached the rank I was aiming for that season.
Celestial said they're aware of the fact that Nozdormu Day needs some advertising in game on Twitter :)
I will be playing buff pally in wild (not librams) while finishing the Invigorating Sermon achievement. It is a pretty brainless deck.
They really should create a quest for pushing this event, I love it!
But the quest should only be available for 24h, which is a tech they don't have or atleast havn't used before.
I highly doubt they don't have timed quests, since there are events lots of times. This should be a short spanned event.
An in-game notification on the 15th of each month encouraging players to participate in the event would be nice. This way it almost seems like a private event.

Expect to have to play a lot of games to encounter a fellow Noz player. Last month I threw the towel at some point because I encountered not a single Noz player. Conceding would be an option but that is not my style.
if you play in casual it won’t count for the Nozdormu achievement. It needs to be wild or standard.
