Well that was fast. The expansion announcement was quickly followed by the beginning of the reveal season, and we also got a taste of the new expansion with Vanndar Stormpike and Drek'Thar being added into the game. Let's take a look at what our community members came up with using these new legendaries.
Swizard already took a look at Drek'thar's potential on the Wednesday post (yeah we totally published that on Wednesday).
Vanndar Secret Paladin
Discovering that Vanndar does indeed work with Call to Arms, which pulls you minions that used to cost 5, led sense124 to create this Secret-infused Paladin list.
APM Mage
Drek'Thar is well-suited for strategies which depend on certain minion getting played, and MarkMcKz has used this potential to give the dreaded APM Mage another way of pulling out the evasive duo of Flamewaker and Sorcerer's Apprentice.
N'Zoth Paladin
This list from yamihaze doesn't aim to cheat out minions in numbers but is prepared to play them out one by one - as long as Vanndar makes them cost 3 less, that is.
Pig Priest
Another list where Drek'thar's job is to pull out key minions. The mana cost and Deathrattle-specific resurrect effects of Priest allow SpectreCular to dodge the negative resurrect pool dilution effects that the inclusion of the Horde leader could've had.
Vanndar OTK Paladin
It seems clear that Paladin is seen as the most fitting home for Vanndar, mostly due to Call to Adventure existing. Mark's second deck of the post aims for a good old "smack the face"-lethal with surprisingly affordable Charge minions accompanied by Battleground Battlemaster.

I dusted my Call to Arms after they nerfed it, thinking I would never use such an Aggro-minded card. Never would have guessed it could work for bigger minions lol. I won't recraft them, but it's a cool idea nevertheless.
Pig Priest looks broken
Seems like the author deleted the original list after I wrote the post yesterday (and of course didn't check the decks since), but luckily they recreated the list later on. I've now swapped that one in.
