Stacking Quests?

As of now we have Quest cards, and Hero cards that have been added since the game launched. SoU will be the second expansion to show case Quest Cards. When creating custom cards it's often a challenge for me to either introduce a new card type, or a new mechanic in general. Do you think that the game of Hearthstone itself is self limiting to new mechanics/cards?
If you boil it down enough, Reborn becomes 'Deathrattle: Summon this minion with one health remaining.' which really isn't a mechanic but rather a rewording of an existing mechanic with an additional effect.
I ask because it's often difficult to come up with something that is absolutely a new concept to the game. [Hearthstone Card (Jaraxxus) Not Found] was the first 'Hero card' in the game but was also considered a minion so I don't know if it falls into that category.
And another question comes to mind. would the game benefit from big end turn minions like similar to the Old Golds for the wow factor?

It's a just for fun deck that I have been using casually in Wild for quite a long time now.
I also wrote a fanfiction based on the deck. The story follows 'The Spider Queen', a powerful Aranasi, who had escaped Sargeras to Azeroth at some point. She was weakened and fell into a slumber. She joins force with Myra Rotspring, who is fascinated by her power, and believes that she is destined to assist The Spider Queen in defending Azeroth from Sargeras, and Blenda, a Mistress of Mixtures, who is Myra's only assistant.
Please visit the deck page to read the story. English is not my first language, but I'm trying my best here.

Hi everyone.
As the title suggest, I recently came up with this idea while scrolling down the list of new cards we'll get to play with in a few days.
We've been constantly getting support for such an archetype, and I also tried to make this work (although with another class, Paladin) after Rise of Shadows release, without much success. However, I think this time we've received enough payoff in order to (at least) try this deck.
You want to mulligan for your low cost/synergistic minions (Electrowright and Garden Gnome above all) and close the game with King Phaoris. In case you got bad minions or your opponent cleared the board, you can always Flobbidinous Floop a second wave of high costed stuff.
I even added some broken mech interactions in order to carry you through the mid game and being able to get to turn 10 without being in a dangerous spot.
To be fair, I have doubts regarding some possible inclusions/combo/tech cards, so I'd really like to read your opinion.

So my question is, will I get a full refund if I keep it? or should I finish it? usually there is a full refund whenever a rotation happens in arena, but I have not heard anything about that.

Hey all,
I've been thinking about the decks that contain an amount of big minions, because I am heavily inspired by Colossus of the Moon.
With this card, I guess I'll look forward to any deck that is not a competitive deck either. So any cool synergy would work. I haven't played big decks for a quite long time. So I know that there are certain classes that love to go big! I could see them as:
Shaman with Eureka! and more.
Mage with Luna's Pocket Galaxy (and more?).
Priest with Resurrection and more.
Paladin with Duel! (and more?).
Warrior with The Boomship and more.
Druid with Jungle Giants, and Astral Communion.
Warlock with a new Quest? Doubt it.
Hunter and Rogue won't say yes to the big guy.
Here is the main reason why I wanted to go BIG again :). The old Astral Communion photo I've found:

Do you think Big warrior and druid with big archetypes could be still a great deck? Because I would play them if they are good, or...
Is it possibly a trap? Because I honestly wanted to try these two decks.
If you think they are not great, suggest me an alternative way to play Colossus of the Moon. Give me more surge to play this card if you can!

EDIT: Another main reason I forgot to mention: send him in early turn or give him rush effect, and he will be at peak of his ultimate power that you shouldn't underestimate it, only a few big decks can do these ways!
Bonus: Dimensional Ripper will give you two unremovable copies of this big minion, only its weakness is transformation effect, and he doesn't care about AoE silence either. Except Plague of Death and Plague of Murlocs, pray that control shaman won't be a common thing.
Let's Farm Some Big Priests! (Anti-Big Priest Shaman)
This deck is theorycrafted with only the idea of making the lives of Big Priest players miserable. Any thoughts on changes before the xpac goes live? [deck]4972[/deck]

I was playing this list in RoS as I find it quite fun to mess with a lot of cheap spells, but not to much success. SoU gave it much needed additional fuel in the form of Ride the Sky Temple and Dune Sculptor. Also Flame Ward should be helpful against aggro, it was struggling against before.
I don't predict it to be super vialable but it should work and be a lot of fun.
Deck consists of best cheap spells in mage arsenal (quest doesn't have to be played immediately for additional triggers) that allow finishing the quest with ease and trigger cards like Mana Cyclone, Dune Sculptor, Archmage Antonidas for a lot of value.
How do you like it, feedback much appreciated! :>
Also, anyone came up with some other quest mage decks?

Hello everyone now we saw all the cards I want to hear what you guys think of the picture as a whole, which cards you think are good and which one are bad, this expansion is all over the place for sure but we saw some very powerful stuff and very meme stuff so let's start.. btw your cards don't have to be legendaries.. yes they seem the most impactful but also a common 1 mana 1/2 in unguru [Hearthstone Card (firefly) Not Found] ended up being played the full 2 years it was out so it's not all about late game legendaries!
I will start:
Top 5 best cards:
1. Siamat - seems like the Zilliax of the expansion it's so flexible and has probably some use in any deck that is either midrange or control, specially in mage that can cheat him out with [Hearthstone Card (elemental invocation) Not Found] or quest shaman that can get all 4 of his keywords.
2. Hyena Alpha - remember Emerald Spellstone? this card is too similar to it and the price? having an untriggered secret on turn 4 this card is gonna shape the meta for sure, and to top it off, you can dig for it with Master's Call.. it's not like midrange beast hunter had a turn 4 play anyway.
3.Garden Gnome - you see the card above? this card is almost the same but treants instead of beasts the trigger is also extreamly easy and it's something druid has always been doing token druid is already strong and if they can fit around 2 more big spells in the deck I am sure they will cause this card is that much powerful.
4. BEEEES!!!- another druid card? yes, I think this card is really powerful by how versatile it is not only it's a Shadow Bolt that when it overkills it leaves tokens behind, it can trigger your own lifesteal, overkill and deathrattle effects if you need to.
5. Weaponized Wasp- you are kidding me right? this card is insanely powerful and even more with the shaman quest, it gives shaman so much reach and removal.
honorable mentions: Impbalming - it's a single target removal for 4, this card is probably the most underrated card of the expansion YOUR DECK DOESN'T MATTER if you have TEMPO, you might not even draw the imps and if you do.. you have life tap, this card is insane and will push warlock further.. it's not like control warlock ever has a problem of lacking options in hand or draw.
Frightened Flunky- Stonehill Defender, for warrior, costs 1 less mana, 1 less stat, we know how good is Stonehill Defender, nuff said.
Beaming Sidekick - reminds me of Kabal Talonpriest how good was that card VERY good, now this is neutral, costs 2 less has also good stats for a 1 drop and just gives 1 less hp, priest will really like this card, as well as warlock.
top 5 worst cards:
1. Desert Obelisk - this card is such an atrociously bad card, if you are copying a card so many times and it costs 5 why you aren't copying Leeroy Jenkins? this card is so bad it's not even a meme card.
2. Generous Mummy - you are getting 2 mana discount deal for the body but at which price? this card is just very similar to Millhouse Manastorm and it's not even a battlecry, not only do you get a downside but it's hard to get rid of the card from your board, every time you would get this card from Diseased Vulture you will be extremely sad.
3. Making Mummies- this quest is SO bad it's not only the only quest that can't be expanded upon cause reborn is a SOU mechanic only the reborn minions are mostly mediocre, and paladin didn't even get a good ones you need to run around 8~12 reborn minions in your deck for this to be good.. and.. the reward? it's not even that great. and the WORST part about this card is why does a good guy practices necromancy? and even worse a murloc good guy???
4. Desert Hare- we have [Hearthstone Card (microtech technician) Not Found] in boomsday this card is worse.. just why.
5. Living Monument - TBH didn't find many other atrocious cards so I am complaining about a pack filler that's how powerful this expansion is.. btw why buff Conjurer's Calling with this card?
Honorable mentions: murloc support in paladin and totem support in shaman- yes those are bad NOW but they cards seem to have uses... seem to be a set up for a future archtype in the classes.
How'd Your Pack Opening Haul Go?

For anyone who did pre-release opening, how was your haul?
I got out of 133 packs:
Hack the System (bleh)
Only one of those I really wanted... Still quite a few missing on my wish list. Hopefully I get my wants with the free goldens, and with the gold I have to spend.
Launch Date Update:
Received from preorder/free lego
Activate the Obelisk (golden)
Anka, the Buried (golden)
Opened 74 additional packs with gold:
Siamat (golden)
Elise the Enlightened (on the very last pack I opened!)
Still missing a few on my wish list, but should have enough dust for those! I like that I received the same number of legos from 74 packs that I got from 133 packs...

I haven't seen any discussionabout this deck for the upcoming expansion but it just seems like it's gonna be insanely consistent due to one of the card that was printed.
I'm talking specifically about Anka, the Buried, this card will transform Mecha'thun into a 1 mana 1/1 and at that point you don't need any other convoluted set up to win. Rogue can obviously empty their deck easily due to Myra's Unstable Element and at that point you only need to empty your hand and save a targetable damage spell to kill the Mecha'thun. Rogues are also pretty good at playing multiple cards in a single turn so emptying your hand shouldn't be the biggest issue. ALSO it's not like you're gonna have to run a bunch of bad/weird cards to make this possible, you already want to run Backstab or Eviscerate in any rogue deck and then running something like Shiv makes sense on a deck like this, you can even kill your Mecha'thun with Walk the Plank and again, on a deck of this nature the card jusr makes sense to run.
Not sure exactly how the deck would look, you probably don't want to run too too much draw engine as it gets awkward with Myra's and in some scenarios you would just take fatigue hits trying to empty your hand, but something like novice and thalnos, maybe piper with sharks (And shivs + fan and of course Myra's) seems like enough draw to be solid and then just run the 2 cards required for the "combo" and from there good rogue cards. Again I don't know if the deck will be any good but requiring close to no set up to have an inevitable win condition seems too strong to me to not consider it as a strong deck at least from a theorycraft stand point.
Man I could even see Tempo Rogue cutting a couple cards and running this combo, like there are already Tempo rogues that run sharks and novices, just cut some other not super impactful cards and fit Shivs/Fan/Thalnos/Any draw (Some combination of this cards) and for most decks you still go for the regular tempo game (On that case Anka is a vanilla minion which won't destroy your tempo) and against stuff like Warrior you have the Mecha'thun win condition to cheese them out. Again on this scenario the hardest part would be to empty your hand after Myra's but going from an extremely unfavored match-up (Warrior) to only needing to empty your hand to win seems pretty viable if you ask me.
I even made this deck, it just took me a couple minutes so don't be to harsh but it does look decent enough:

When seeing Tip the Scales i had to make a theme deck.
So lets open a fish retaurant.
So what do you need. Well a lot of fish and if that fish runs out the chef will get realy angry.
Nomi is the chef here and he has two cook apprentices, siver knives and a cat that loves fish and will bring more.
How do you use it ? Well serve fish till you opponent overeats and if that´s not enough nomi will roast him.
Straight forward deck flood the board, trade and roll over your opponent. Maybe it works due to being so "braindead"
I thought to put in a board buff but there is no realy good one. The silver sword would be but it´s eight mana.
This deck has a huge advantage. It does not need much from the new expansion. So it might be one of the wait a bit to craft decks that run over all decks trying to build nice combos. It overal one of the cheaper decks with only Nomi as legend.

Hey,
I've been thinking about Taunt Warrior for a while. My biggest concern was about it's ability to win games, but I have a feeling that if the deck can survive the early-phase, it can win by value.
The general gameplan is to buff and play Taunt minions (are you guys shocked?). I believe the deck provides tempo with the buff cards and the mech package (a buffed Bronze Gatekeeper can be decisive). Tomb Warden is also there to win the midgame.
My biggest problem is about the card slots. Currently my deck contains 34 cards, therefore I should cut 4. What do you think, which cards are less necessary than the rest?

Soooooo... I'm a big fan of everything PvE oriented in every game, and of course HS adventures aren't the exception.
As they said in the Pre-Release patch notes of SoU, the new title of the adventure will be Tombs of Terror, and that... leaves a lot to expeculate!
Given that the devs of HS really did something different for RoS, they might go back to the basics and do an old school adventure (which I'm really hoping for even tough I reeeeeeeally liked the dungeon/witchwood/rumble/heist runs).
So, my little guess (and hope...) is, a bit of both, like, different wings or chapters, where in some of them, you got to solve puzzles (a la Boomsday), or fight through a couple of minions and a big baddie to reach another wing of the tomb (like a dungeon run), then pick a hero (the explorers) and fight each one of the 4 lesser E.V.I.L. guys (like old adventures), and a real big fight against Rafaam, in a style like the one against Agatha in Witchwood with the 4 heroes being hero cards with unique effects. And then, after beating Rafaam, the real bad guy appears... Tekhan! Revealing himself to be allied with Deathwing! Giving a clear hint to the next expansion.
Well... That's what I really hope for, and I wanted to share it.
What do you guys think?
You can use SoU cards in the brawl!
