Sanguine Depths has a new best friend. T2 4/3 charging at you... sounds alright. a turn or two earlier than Kor'kron Elite, and requires a combo... but still decent.
If it weren't for pirates having innate lower health on average, this would be amazing. That being said, Pirate or Armor Warrior could run this to great effect. Either you had a few pirates die while this was in your hand, or some of your taunters died. Either way, you could infuse this rather quickly and get in at least one swing to bump up anything of yours that got hurt, but isn't dead. Also, could get your minions out of range of an Explosive Trap to be able to swing in.
This just has tons of control warrior players super happy. Of course yours are going to cost a little more on average. It can also give you a view into your opponent's deck and some of their strategy. Who cares if they see yours, if you're playing this... they know they have to be ready for the long haul anyway.
I'm seeing this as a good card. If you're running Pirates with weapons, why not have another thing to swing in on your opponent. If they spend a turn casting a copy of the weapon, which they very well could play the next turn and punch you with it, that's mana that they can't use to thin out your side of the board... allowing you to go face... which is what Pirate Warrior does.
It could also be one of those situations where you don't care what dead cards they have in their hand, like if you play against Lightforged Cariel. They don't want to give up their The Immovable Object, so it clutters their hand.
For (2) mana, you get what you pay for. The hope of course is to have a board of Venomous Scorpids and you just annihilate their side. The reality is going to be more of a situation where you nettle down their forces by attrition and hopefully have a back up card to eliminate the rest of their minions.
OH gods I love this soooo much. The ability to remove a minion, albeit a random one, for the cost of a discard card you play is amazing. With Warlock having access to lots of mini-minion removal, you can easily combo out some removal with this. I'm looking forward to this
I've neve been so happy that Lightning Bloom got nerfed as when I saw this. The idea of this firing off super cheap/fast with some of the ways that Shaman has to get fatties on the board is gross.
I am really liking this totem support. Too bad there isn't a lot to make it ridiculous in standard, but in wild, this could be rather fun, especially with Even Shaman getting the Gigantotem
Totem Goliath cheated out fast = this things dropping even faster. Given that it is a totem itself makes this Wild deck more viable. Tac on that you can pop this into Even Shaman for even more hilarity
Compare this to Thing from Below. 4 mana more, no taunt, +3/+3 in stats. Sure it's a Totem, you can use totem-specific spells on it but still...that ain't a great comparison to a card that came out ages ago.
Yeah it came out ages ago... and they realized that it was super tough and needed to change it up a littl
This is really meh. The best hope you can get out of this is that the buffs you have in your hand have had a cost reduction to enable you to get a couple of nasty fatties on the board.
Realistically, it will probably just generate another 2/5 to try and pick off mini-minions and act as a distraction from your opponent going face.
I think an easier way to use this card is just turn 3 secret, turn 4 this card ?
You totally could, and I imagine that is the intent of the card. Given that it will automatically punch the board if there is a secret out though, makes it a prime hit for any deck that has minions.
The wording of this card has me ambivalent about it's use. If it gets ALL cards that have been copied, then Archbishop Benedictus just became the next big inclusion in Priest decks. If it only triggers on your thiefed cards in hand... still good, but not great.
If there is more of a stupidly fun deck to run other than Pure Paladin, I don't want to know what it is. I can see this being an alternate win condition for paladin. You probably won't play it on a curve necessarily unless you NEED the other minions. But having an ace up your sleeve for the late game is always a shoe in for control.
OMG it is hard to want more out of this card. Arcane Flakmage is still a staple in most Secret Mage builds. The idea that you could potentially protect this minion a turn or two to nullify or substantially disrupt your opponent's board is great. The only caveat is that (4) price tag to it. Hopefully, you'd get at least one shot at your opponent's board before it gets stomped into the ground.

Evolve fodder... nothing too interesting to see here

Not bad. Could be better, but it could also be one of those cards that is great to trigger other effects that rely on you having a secret in play.
For (1) mana.. you get to irritate the hell out of your opponent as they watch their colossal minion punch itself.
I like this so much better than Thoughtsteal. You actually get to have a choice in what you're getting to thief. This is hands down awesome!

Paladin has always had a good draw mechanic... so chalk this one right up to the specific tutor pile and appreciate it in all it's glory
