My attempt. Just found this cute picture on Pinterest and could not resist using it, just look how kawaii that murloc is UwU. You can draw a lot of minions, from Murloc Tinyfin to 0-Cost minions from Barnabus the Stomper.
Greetings, everyone! I'm back with some new content. Today, I'm presenting you my version of Boss Batle Royale, which is one of my all time favorite Tavern Brawl series, to the point I made a guide on the first edition back on Hearthpwn (lost in ether though). It actually includes heroes from TEN different PvE content, each of different class. Unlike previous iterations, I've decided to create the decks myself to explore potential possibilities and to avoid having some decks being near unplayable - looking at you, Kriziki the Winged!
NOTE: You start the game with Romulo on the board. The boss has also been changed from ONiK, as I didn't feel like both original Hero Powers fit the power level of my brawl.
Did not notice there was already a thread of this brawl, but now I have played countless games to the point where I can notice the meta.
So "Overloaded! + Wisdom 76" is the best deck, period. You can deal up to 18 damage outright, and it's not hard to get lucky with your draw to get Rockbiter Weapon, Lava Burst or Molten Blast, at that point which you can just OTK on turn 1. Mirrors are decided on whoever gets to OTK in one turn first, then on whoever didn't get the Coin. EDIT - you can hope for Far Sight as your last ditch effort to draw one of those three cards.
I feel like "Choices, Choices + Swarm 67" is one deck that comes even close to defeating that OTK deck, and it can do alright on both going first and second. When starting, Hero Power twice, pray for no OTK, then Hero Power Twice and use Zephrys's Lamp to find Pyroblast, or Inner Demon since Fireheart will be at exactly 8 HP. When going second, you can dig for Alexstrasza and heal back to 20 Health.
Basically the Lamp is your best bet against the 76 deck, because you can dig for either Alex or Pyro, or even a solid enough defensive card to the point you can quickly stabilize and turn the game around, but that is much more rare.
It is random I know, but damn that is just a culmination of insane synergy. I even concede every game I am not in the Shaman Mirror to find a possible counter.
Title says it all. I am honestly baffled how this was allowed to slip through. Not even Choices, Choices + Swarm 67 or Agression 122 are as strong, they look like Innkeeper's decks comapred to this Quel'delar monstrosity.
@KANSAS - I tried to use this wording, but I, to some extent, craze about aesthetics on Hearthcards cards, often adding more spaces to align the text more in an eye-pleasing way. That said, I wasn;t sure how people would understand me using Trade instead of Tradeable, but after tinkering a little with spacing and such on your wording, it's chef's kiss. Below I will showcase my care for clean text.
A small upside to Tradeable cards. You can even save those Coins for later combos, but in the basic premise, they negate the initial Cost of using the Tradeable effect.
Could be exceptional with C'Thun, the Shattered, or any shuffled spells in that regard. The problem is finding the place for this card, but I suppose there could be space for her, like in Control Warlock as a replacement of Malygos the Spellweaver, as you will guarantee the Soul Fragment.
Let's try again. This one is more a midrange minion for Warrior that may delay kills, but it occupies enemy board space for periods of time. Note that it won't take damage when making an enemy Dormant.
Holy molly this patch is so big! I truly hope it drops Azir Irelia in power, because I want to keep myself from experiencing them in their prime power, and it looks to do that. One thing that I've noticed is the massive amount of nerf reverts or small buffs/nerfs. Like it's been ages since we had Karma at 5 Mana, Tryndamere with Tough on level up, Will of Ionia at 4 Mana, Black Market Merchant and Make it Rain at 2 Mana, Hecarim as 5/6 and, to some degree, Aphelios as a 3/3. Is this how the game has been powercrept where we see nerfs from even all the way from Open Beta reverted? Seems interesting.
That said, Sivir decks could be dominant in the new meta with her lower level up requirement, thus giving yourself more chances to give a lot of resilliance to your board. Jarvan IV could also be a strong contender for a solid champion.
Oh, but there is one downside. Watcher is nerfed, so a bit sadge for my homebrew Counterfeit Warmother deck that could snatch a copy of The Watcher to destroy that archetypes player's entire deck. But it is a welcome change overall, dare I say actually a little weaker than Maokai.
Been some time since that era of Hearthstone, and I do remember it being god awful (I was still playing then) Due to Jade single handedly destroying control decks, but now we got the 4/6 that destroys 1-Cost cards in both hands and decks, and combo decks got spread enough that Jade struggles now.
At least Runeterra had Counterfeit Copies right from the game's launch, so we have a solid answer to the watchers card-wise and we don't need to wait for a new expansion to get that.
Looks juicy in Wild. While it will be mostly used with Fury (Rank 1) and Chaos Strike, Wild has access to Mana Burn and Metamorphosis, giving you a Walmart version of Sword of a Thousand Truths.
Can also be used as a control tool with Immolation Aura and Chaos Nova for up to 12 damage AoE.
New BG card incoming?
Hear me out... Bwonsamdi, the Dead, Spirit of the Dead, other Priest cards.

Still better than shutdown of Duelyst or MM Doc.
It makes for more explosive turns with Flesh Giant, but can slightly weaken Molten Giant, though the burst the Quest provides cannot be denied.

Yes, the awakened minion instantly dies, and it mentions that the minion "killed" by Gorgrong Brute goes Dormant. Could add "that minion" to the text.
There you go. Fixed art and still managed to get decently sized text that incorporates Rush.

I stan for Volunteer Elnuk, such a good addition to my deck - or at least makes for a possible new variant.
