Welcome, fellow achievement hunter.
Ever since the introduction of the rewards track, each expansion has always brought us a handful of achievements to complete in order to gain more rewards: while some of them are relatively easy to complete, others may take some time or a proper set-up. In case you're wondering what's the best way to gain all that sweet sweet XP locked behind Maw and Disorder's achievements, do not fret, as we have the answer you're looking for!
In this guide we'll focus our attention on the Maw and Disorder achievements and provide at least one way to complete each of them so that you'll be able to get closer to the end of your reward track.
Disclaimer: as always, all expansion achievements can be completed in Ranked Standard, Ranked Wild, Arena, Casual & Heroic Duels and Classic - Casual Standard, Casual Wild and Tavern Brawl will not count towards your hunt! Moreover, we'll always take Ranked Standard as the default game format for our strategies: if we happen to have some strategies or particular interactions belonging to other modes to highlight, we'll be sure to specify it.
Here are all the achievements we're going to complete together:
- Devil's Advocate - Summon 25/50 Demons with All Fel Breaks Loose.
- Dew Diligence - Draw 100/200 cards with Dew Process.
- Held In Contempt - Destroy the enemy hero with Motion Denied 1/3 times.
- Overruled! - Counter 30/60 minions with Objection!.
- Entitled to Compensation - Set 25 minions' stats to 1/1 with Class Action Lawyer.
- Grand Larceny - Add 20/40 copies of your opponent's cards to your hand with Incriminating Psychic.
- The WHOLE Truth?! - Cast 25/50 Secrets with Perjury.
- Holding Those For a Friend - Overload your opponent for 20/40 Mana with Framester.
- Let the Bodies Hit the Board - Summon 3/5 Legendary minions with Habeas Corpses.
- Witness Destruction Program - Summon a minion with Call to the Stand and destroy it in the same turn 15/30 times.
- Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong - Take control of 10/20 minions with Sylvanas, the Accused.
- Was I a Good Card? - Have 25/50 friendly minions die with Afterlife Attendant.
Moreover, in case you're still missing some Castle Nathria achievements, worry not, as we have some guides (with decklists!) ready for you:
Table of Contents
How to Complete the "Devil's Advocate" Demon Hunter Achievement
- Requirement: Summon 25/50 Demons with All Fel Breaks Loose.
- Speed Rating: 3/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Demon Hunter's That Belongs in a Museum! - You need a good shell to churn through your deck and Relic do that very well.
- Neutral's Gone but Not Forgotten - Dispossessed Soul gives you a chance to Discover an additional copy of All Fel Breaks Loose.
All Fel Breaks Loose is a Fel spell, which makes this achievement much easier to do. In fact, Demon Hunter has two Fel spell tutors you can use for Devil's Advocate: Fossil Fanatic and Felgorger, the latter also being a Demon! You just have to make sure that All Fel Breaks Loose is the only Fel spell in your deck and you're good to go. 50 Demons to summon means 17 All Fel Breaks Loose casts, which is very reasonable.
- In your mulligan, look for either of the two Fel tutors.
- Once All Fel Breaks Loose is in your hand, summon and kill your Demons.
- Flanking Maneuver is a great card, as it provides two 4/2 Demons with Rush that can be resurrected by All Fel Breaks Loose.
- Play Infused All Fel Breaks Loose to summon 3 Demons and progress the achievement.
- The deck contains many units that allow you to Discover additional copies of All Fel Breaks Loose.
How to Complete the "Dew Diligence" Druid Achievement
- Requirement: Draw 100/200 cards with Dew Process.
- Speed Rating: 1/5 in Standard, 2/5 in Wild
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Need a Map?
Boy, this is such a terrible achievement: even before trying to grind it, I got matched against Mill Druid opponents who played Dew Process; I played right into their gameplan, hoping to get some Dew Diligence procs and, guess what, I didn't get any! This achievement progresses only when you are the one casting Dew Process and it only counts the cards drawn by you! This way, drawing 200 extra cards is going to be extremely long and frustrating, especially because giving your opponent extra resources has a high chance to get you killed.
For Standard, the reasoning made for Devil's Advocate is valid here too: Dew Process is a Nature spell, so Widowbloom Seedsman will always draw it. Moreover, the deck you see below contains all sorts of Spell generators, allowing you to create additional copies of Dew Process.
However, we think Wild is a better place for Dew Diligence progression, mainly because of the existence of two cards: Jade Idol (avoids fatigue) and Solar Eclipse (doubles up Dew Process). It's still going to take a long while, but a full-spell low curve deck is what you need.
How to Complete the "Held in Contempt" Hunter Achievement
- Requirement: Destroy the enemy hero with Motion Denied 1/3 times.
- Speed Rating: 1/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements: none
Fortunately for us, 3 times aren't a lot, but completing Held in Contempt will require remarkable setup, since:
- You'll have to put your opponent at 6 or less Health.
- Your opponent will have to play at least 3 cards in order to trigger Motion Denied, and they can even play around it!
- Prince Renathal being so popular doesn't really help, as it means much more work to do.
We all know how bad it is when an achievement requires our opponent to cooperate with us, but sometimes it just can't be helped. In this case, we believe an aggressive approach with Motion Denied as one of the finishers is going to do the trick.
- Try to have both Motion Denied and Improved Motion Denied in play at the same time, so that at the third card played in a turn by your opponents they will receive 15 damage, making Held in Contempt's completion much more likely.
- Duels format note: Duels runs starts with opponents having only 15 Health, meaning that you'll be able to put your opponent in Motion Denied range fairly easily.
How to Complete the "Overruled!" Mage Achievement
- Requirement: Counter 30/60 minions with Objection!.
- Speed Rating: 4/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Mage's Magical Mansion Mystery Tour - Overruled! is the perfect occasion for you to hit two birds with a single stone.
- Mage's Poor Circulation - Commander Sivara and all the other Discover cards will be very helpful in this one too.
- Neutral's Was I a Good Card?
Just like for Devil's Advocate and Dew Diligence, Objection! has a tutor as well: Arcanologist. Once you make sure Objection! is the only Secret in your deck, this 2-Cost minion will always draw it.
- Commander Sivara is great at granting more than just 2 achievement procs per game: consider playing Objection! while you have this Naga in hand.
How to Complete the "Entitled to Compensation" Paladin Achievement
- Requirement: Set 25/50 minions' stats to 1/1 with Class Action Lawyer.
- Speed Rating: 3/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements: none
Pretty straightforward achievement that asks you to play a good card in a particularly fancy deck: even if you do not own The Countess, you can still go "Pure" and grind out Entitled to Compensation.
If you have a wide collection, we suggest you to play the list you see below.
If you're on a budget, you may try something like this.
How to Complete the "Grand Larceny" Priest Achievement
- Requirement: Add 20/40 copies of your opponent's cards to your hand with Incriminating Psychic.
- Speed Rating: 3/5 in Standard, 4/5 in Wild
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Priest's SPF 300
In Standard, Amulet of Undying is the key card for your success.
In Wild, Raise Dead and Twilight's Call will play a significant role in speeding up the process.
- Awaken the Makers is not necessary, but it will help a lot.
How to Complete the "The WHOLE Truth?!" Rogue Achievement
- Requirement: Cast 25/50 Secrets with Perjury.
- Speed Rating: 2/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Long Live the King - Why? Why not?
- Neutral's Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong - As you'll see in a minute, there's no Shadowstep here, but there are a lot of minions ready to die for you.
Very, very slow achievement: Perjury takes two turns to generate a single Secret and, unless you're able to get additional copies of it, you'll need to repeat the same process twice for 25 games straight. It's nothing particularly difficult, but it's just a bit on the slow side.
In order to improve our completion rate, we're going to use Door of Shadows as the only spell other than Perjury in our deck: this way, Door will either draw itself of Perjury, generating a copy of the drawn card in case you Infused it first.
How to Complete the "Holding Those For a Friend" Shaman Achievement
- Requirement: Overload your opponent for 20/40 Mana with Framester.
- Speed Rating: 2/5 in Standard and 3/5 in Wild
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong
One mistake I made when grinding Holding Those For a Friend is that I believed I needed to shuffle as many Framed as possible in my opponents' decks, only for them to draw just one or two and then kill me. After a few games, I realized that the fastest way to complete this achievement is shuffling the Framed spells very fast, so that your opponents will have higher chances to draw them.
Another notable aspect of this achievement is that it requires your opponent to draw only 20 Framed spells, which isn't a lot.
If you do Wild, there are a few cards that will be veeery helpful.
- Prize Vendor and Coldlight Oracle will make your opponents draw their cards faster.
- Augmented Elekk will shuffle more Framed spells.
How to Complete the "Let the Bodies Hit the Board" Warlock Achievement
- Requirement: Summon 3/5 Legendary minions with Habeas Corpses.
- Speed Rating: 4/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Long Live the King
- Neutral's Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong
One of the easiest achievements of the entire mini-set: if you build your deck so that it contains lots Legendary minions (cheap would be preferable), completing Let the Bodies Hit the Board will be a piece of cake.
- Hullbreaker acts as a tutor for Habeas Corpses and other useful spells.
- Have some Legendary minions die.
- Play Tamsin Roame and cast Habeas Corpses.
- Tamsin will add a second Corpses to your hand, for two procs in total.
- This deck contains many bad Legendaries just because they're free: almost everyone should have a better choice, so we advise you to include the best Legendaries you've got.
How to Complete the "Witness Destruction Program" Warrior Achievement
- Requirement: Summon a minion with Call to the Stand and destroy it in the same turn 15/30 times.
- Speed Rating: 4/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong
Pretty straightforward: play a deck that can generate as many copies of Call to the Stand as possible, but do not forget about the removal part - yes, if you don't destroy the summoned minion, you'll get no progress on Witness Destruction Program. Fortunately for us, Garrosh has access to lots of removals, some should not meet any obstacles.
- Hard removal, weapons, minion trades: anything is fair game, as long as the minion summoned by Call to the Stand perishes during the same turn.
How to Complete the "Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong" Neutral Achievement
- Requirement: Take control of 10/20 minions with Sylvanas, the Accused.
- Speed Rating: 3/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Rogue's The WHOLE Truth?!
- Shaman's Off the Deep End
- Shaman's Holding Those For a Friend
- Neutral's Gone but Not Forgotten
One of the best cards of the entire mini-set and only 20 procs for the achievement to be completed: these numbers shouldn't scare you even if you're not a dedicated achievement hunter. We think there are two great ways to complete Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong.
The first one is in Rogue, whose Shadowstep will allow multiple procs in the same game,
The second one is in Shaman, a class which boasts remarkable Battlecry synergies.
- Despite the wording, Brann Bronzebeard into Infused Sylvanas, the Accused shall give you control of one enemy minion, but two progression points!
- On the same note, Brilliant Macaw also progresses Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong.
How to Complete the "Was I a Good Card?" Neutral Achievement
- Requirement: Have 25/50 friendly minions die with Afterlife Attendant.
- Speed Rating: 3/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- potentially any achievement hunting deck that can afford to run two Spider Tanks.
Not a particularly difficult achievement, especially since you can just include two copies of Afterlife Attendant in every deck you play and you'll complete Was I a Good Card? even before being able to notice it.
If you want to speed up the process, there's a 10 mana Wild combo that will grant 12 progression points each time you're able to pull it off. We are talking about this:
- Use Felgorger to draw Immolation Aura.
- Make sure that Immolation Aura is the only Fel spell in your deck, so that you'll guarantee the tutor and discount effects to land on what you want.
- Wait until turn 10.
- Play Afterlife Attendant.
- Play Expendable Performers.
- Play the 0 mana Immolation Aura.
- Get 12 progression points.
- Rinse and repeat until you get to 50.

Excellent job, Avalon!!! Thanks!! Keep the good work!
Are we thinking we have until early December to complete these?
No official date yet, but if I were to bet I'd say that you have at least another month of time.
Anyone found out how to complete the suspicious minion achievements? Obviously the idea is that you're supposed to successfully fool your opponent but its not triggering even when that happens.
I read somewhere that it only triggers if you're fooled, i.e. your opponent has to actually play it (good luck with that, suspicious pirate is unseen throughout the last three months). Anyone can confirm this?
Also, Framester is a card that should never be good. Ive played this in wild for fun and achievements. Got plenty of laughs at my opponent's expense. Im not even trying to win, but if you pull it off, your opponent can easily skip two turns for nothing. Just so cancerous to suffer through I'd imagine.
They've supposedly fixed the suspicious achievements to work as expected a while ago. Is it still causing issues for you (as in, tried just now or it's based on previous experiences)?
I havent actually tested it since a month back, so I guess its fixed now. That's nice.
Using Kurtrus Jace in DH will count your procs on All Fel Breaks Loose
I... don't understand: may you explain this interaction more in depth please
Sorry, I was way to brief in explaining that and cited the wrong card. Edited to reference Jace instead. His repeating of Fel spells will give more procs on All Fel Breaks Loose.
Oh yes, Jace! Didn't think about that! Nice find :)
Great write-up.
There's a few more tricks though that I was able to make use of (and wanted to tell you beforehand but just never found the time to do so)
Archmage Vargoth and Queen Azshara are fantastic for both Druid and DH (and Priest to some extent). The DH achievement got done almost twice as fast thanks to these two.
Regarding Paladin there'S actually a cute little turbo strategy. Put Brann, Zola, both Lawyers and Order in the Court into your deck and fill it with only class 1-mana cards. This way you can basically tutor your entire combo and get up to 9 procs per game (although it's mostly just going to be around 4-5). Significantly speeds up the process if playing Pure Paladin isn't your thing.
Finally, regarding Hunter. Fuck this thing and whoever came up with it. I wish genuine misery upon them just for being this much of a dickhead. It's the antithesis of what an achievement should be. You have basically no agency and if your opponent decides to surrender all your work was for nothing.
Wanna know how I did it? Once by accident with Tavish before I even knew the achievement was a thing. The 2nd one in Wild (!) with Aggro Shadow Priest where I just threw in Sketchy Stranger until I eventually got lucky. Third one was in Secret/Quest Rogue in Standard. Once again, Stranger to the rescue (seriously that card is an MVP for these achievements).
My genuine advice is to not force the Hunter one and just play Secret related decks with Stranger until you get it by chance. It's much less frustrating than getting the perfect set-up only for your opponent to concede because they already know what you're doing and can't be bothered to be nice about it.
For the Rogue achievement, Private Eye is wonderful. If Perjury is the only secret in your deck you don't even have to combo the Eye; he'll just plunk the Perjury directly into play.
