Scholomance Academy Quick Information
- Scholomance Academy releases on August 6, 2020.
- Dual Class Cards - There are 40 cards in the set which can each be played by 2 different classes.
- Spellburst - A new keyword! This is an effect that triggers only one time, on casting a spell.
- Studies - New card theme which Discovers a card and reduces the cost of the next card played of that type.
- PvE Content - A free update with details to follow later on.

Seems a bit early to make that kind of claim considering we haven't seen even a third of the cards yet.
Not sure about this, do the 5 Golden Scholomance Academy Card Packs have their own pity timer?
Not sure if anything has been officially stated, but as the Golden Classic packs have a separate pity timer to normal Classic packs, I would assume the same would be true here, and for the same reason - to prevent you trying to 'time' a golden legendary. I guess it can be tested easily enough: open 5 normal Scholo packs and then (if you didn't get a legendary in those 5 packs) open your golden packs. If you still get no legendary then they have separate timers. If you do get a legendary then you were probably just lucky. If enough people do this and anyone doesn't get a legendary then they're unlinked.
Edit: these need to be your first 10 Scholo packs for this to be effective
I think you can open 9 normal packs and 10th to be golden to check if the guaranteed legendary from the first 10 packs from an expansion is true
Sure, but you run the risk of opening a legendary in those first 9 packs, at which point the golden teaches us nothing. Starting at 5 maximises the odds of getting the golden L, or of teaching us that they aren't linked (as I suspect). There's little reason to wait any longer, especially if you're more interested in maximising the chances at the Golden L than learning :)

I found a tweet from Celestalon saying that Golden Classic Packs do not have pity timers. I assume these apply to golden scholo packs as well.
I don't think you get a guaranteed legendary from the first 10 packs as well.
You could organize the classes like this: Druid --> Druid/Hunter --> Hunter --> Hunter/Demon Hunter --> Demon Hunter --> Demon Hunter/Warlock --> Warlock --> Warlock/Priest... etc. In this format, one class is left out (Druid or Shaman, here, since Druid/Shaman is the last pair), but all the rest have every card in the same place, plus close proximity to their paired class, so you could enjoy evaluating how a card works for both classes.
At least, I think it would be better if you added the dual-class cards underneath the class cards, instead of underneath the Neutral cards. If I'm looking at the Druid reveals, I don't want to scroll all the way to the end and then back to the top several times over.
That said, thank you for your hard work! As usual, the UI and the promptness from this site are leagues ahead of the others around. The passion you have really shows through.
I am really liking the cross class cards so far. I've thought about what would happen to the meta when you see class specific abilities being used by another... such as overload to a big benefit that turn.
when the reveal will start?

These reveal seasons are getting shorter and denser. I'm thinking doing it all in 1 week might be a bit too short, but it might be been affected by Covid-19 so I won't judge.
It's probably a lot a more work for you all, but I'm looking forward to a shorter reveal window. I start to lose interest when it's stretched out over a few weeks.
Pretty cold with this expansion. My hype is below zero, let's see the coming cards but for the moment I don't feel very excited with this. Thematic meh and dual classes meh too.
I'm pretty fine with the downvotes but would be nice arguing a little bit why do you think my feelings are a mistake (or why do you think my comment is bad).
For me, right now, none of the cards showned makes me want to spend a dollar on this expansion. I'm living reveal time expansion since beta so I know how this "lots of cards are going to be shown, keep calm until the revelation is done" works but the expansion revelation itself it's not enough interesting in my honest opinion. For me dual class cards are a pretty similiar idea as seen with Gadgetzan and the new spell mechanic is a low tier "after you cast a sell".
And of course, when I said that thematic was a meh I mean that Scholomance is an amazing lore dungeon in warcraft games but changing that into a Harry Potter style... you changed totally Karazhan for becoming a "cartoonished-party expansion" and feels good with Hearthstone style but doing this once again... in my opinion (once again) they could use Kirin Tor as a main theme with Jaina, Antonidas and Khadgar as teachers with the same purpose and leave Scholomance (and Stratholme maybe) as they do with Naxxramas.
All this, I want to remark, is my personal opinion... Once the expansion launchs ask me again what are my thoughts about Scholomance. I'd pretty love to hear about your thoughts "against" mine. Would be lovely to argue it and see what do you think about :)
As I said let's see what's coming in the next days but, at least for the moment, they need to charm me with every card revealed.
Really sorry if i don't express myself pretty clear, english is not my main language so maybe I misspelled something or make myself seem a little bitter.
To be honest, I kinda like this origin story better.
Taking the goofiness away, I find it quite interesting that Kel'thuzad would use his Kirin Tor position to found a magic school which was secretly a tool to recruit adepts for his Cult of the Damned. It makes a lot of sense, since a school full of young and impressionable minds is the perfect place for that. It's a pretty accurate depiction of how radical group recruitment works in real life.
That said, I haven't played WoW very much, although I'm quite familiar with Kel'thuzad because of Warcraft III. In fact, I discovered Scholomance exists because of this expansion.

Are we sure that the pve adventure will be free? Because i didn't find official info about it.
I remember that when they announced Ashes of Outland they explicitly said the adventure would have been free:
