- Highlander / Singleton - If your deck has no duplicates, do a cool thing! We last saw this mechanic in Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.

What's the benefit of this? Why golden?
I don't have enough dust to craft a legendary, let alone a golden one.
Why not wait to see if you randomly get the one you want?
(Sorry for the dumb questions)
I think the idea is that if you craft some and then open your packs then there's a smaller pool of legendary cards to choose from so you can get some of the other ones. My question is why golden?
Has been answered :)
If you want a golden deck, you need to craft your gold version before opening so that you don't get the non-gold version and have to dust it.
Perhaps, you are playing on a budget too, and this is not so relevant to you :D
I agree. I never understood that logic too.
I think for some, the gold matters! :)
Which is fair enough. However, budget me, is not so fussed. But I get it, it's a good reminder for those who are wanting a gold deck!!
One thing I thought was really funny, was the champion guy who deliberately brought all his cards in non-gold. Even sn1p-sn4p.
The benefit of this is: if you want a legendary but you’d prefer it be golden (Zephrys for me!), if you craft it, you CANNOT open one, which increases the amount of different legends you get (the ones you craft plus whatever you open). Also, since you want it golden, if you open a reg, you just bust it up and craft it again at Golden is a waste.
If you don’t care about all that, no big deal.
It is because of the no dupes legendary rule for pack opening.
If there is a particular legendary you want to craft golden, you want to do so before opening card packs because there is a chance you will open it with the "normal" version. By crafting it first, it won't be possible to open a normal version of the card until you've got every legendary from the set in your collection.
It would be so sad to want to craft a golden Zephrys to get it in one of your packs as a normal. If you were to craft it golden, the only use for the non-gold is to turn it into 400 dust, which sucks considering the alternative was to open a different legendary.
If there are any golden legendaries that you specifically want, it's best to craft them before opening packs due to the No Duplicate Legendary rule for opening packs.
Say you wanted a Golden Sir Finley, by crafting him, you remove that card from the pool of legendaries you can get from packs.

Thanks, Flux, for adding my decks. I would like to apologize to the community for not creating any guide for my bomb quest shaman deck yet. Hopefully I will manage to do it by tomorrow noon.
100 minutes to go!

Would have been great for there to have been a countdown on the main page for this (though maybe was a good reason there wasn't one).
