Both are interesting cards.
Not sure how to evaluate the druid card. Looks like Embiggen on steroids but hella slow. This plus Embiggen plus the boatload of ramp druid has, may push Big Druid back in the meta.
I like the second card, it feels like a weaker but more flexible version of Magic Carpet. Will try it out in zoo decks.
I was thinking the same thing about the druid spell, but then a wild Kal'Thas appeared.
This looks fun. A glimpse into the past of what Scholomance was before the cult truly took over. Dual class cards sound fun. What they have shown looks very flavorful and melds the classes nicely. Spellburst too is a nice touch. Another way for minions to enhance spells beyond spell damage. The one time use makes it strategically interesting as well. Do you play it early and let your opponent worry about the potential landmine? Or do you hold it to combo off and make a big swing turn? Can't wait to see more, excited about the reveal season!
In my understanding of the WoW lore, before Scholomance was a vile cesspit of necromancy it was a nobleman's home, and never had a phase where it pretended to be an innocent school of witchcraft and wizardry. That's just an embellishment by the HS team, for which I am glad because there's only so many scourge expansions you can have before they repeat themselves aesthetically.
Guide is still kinda missing dual cards it seems
Didn't mage JUST get a new hero reskin?
No, they got a Hero Card, just like the KotFT Deathknight Cards. they are not new "hero" like Medivh, or Arthas, it's like Lich Queen Jaina, or Zul'Jin.
https://outof.cards/hearthstone/726-hearthstone-is-getting-a-new-mage-hero-celeste
Unless "Celeste" is a codename for KT
Celeste remains in the client. Still not new data associated with her though.
Could be the Adventure Hero, like Aranna Starseeker was for Trial by Fel Fire. No clue if it will become an actual permanent usable Hero. We will have to wait and see.
It has been a while since Mage got a new Hero. Though to play Devils Advocate, they do have Jaina, Medhiv, Khadgar, and now Kel'Thuzad. Not counting 1000 ranked wins, Lock has 3, rogue 2, hunter 3, Druid 4, priest 3, shammy 5, warrior 3, DH 2(but really new) pally 4. https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Hero But KT was a mage, you couldn't make him anything else.
When will you guys add a banner around the Demon Hunter name to match the other classes?
Also something we are working on, we have the assets, but not in the right form, so we need to adjust them for our site.
That's cool - could we somehow get a sneak peek at it?
On a different note, I propose that for dual class cards, you use a combination of the borders. For example, Mage/Rogue would have the left half of Mage, and the right half of Rogue.
Have you considered just adding the dual class cards to the class roster (listing them twice). Seems cleaner to me instead of 10 additional categories with 4 cards each
No plans on listing the dual-class cards twice. It would be a huge mess to do so and unlike Sinti's comment would have one believe, it would be easy to do. If there were only a handful of dual-class cards, that likely would have been the best option. With 40 of them though, that's a lot of extra scrolling length!
They have already shown more cards at official site
Hey where did the dual class cards go?
We were not exactly prepared for dual-class cards being announced, so we need to implement a bit of a behind-the-scenes logic so they show up properly, they will show up in their place soon ;-)
Not cool Blizzard!!! They could've give you a heads up to ease your job...
